30 years ago, these were the gorgeous cakes brides wanted. I miss doing all the piping work and all the beautiful details. I loved decorating the boards. This cake is pure class!

When I want to relax I love just watching you decorate a cake. Crazy huh. Lol. But I just wanted to tell you this. There are artistic people. There are people with good work ethics. There are people who know how to work smarter, not harder. I would put you in all three of these categories. You show your artistic abilities with awesome tools but some may not be typical. And you work hard to make these gorgeous cakes and your channels for us to enjoy your work on. I bought one of you books once when I was going to bake my sons wedding cake and had a simple question which I asked you on your website and you stopped and answered me. And it helped. I haven’t made an elaborate cake since then but it turned out beautifully. I’ve never forgotten that you took a moment to answer my simple question and it made a difference. I admire the heck out of you Auntie. Our world would be a better place with more folks like you in it. God bless my friend. 👍🏼🤍

The pottery wheel is fantastic for that job. I have the same pottery wheel and I love it, but I used for pottery 😆

I love the lambeth method of cake decorating I never thought to use a template like you did that’s a very good idea oh I love your work and now I need a pottery wheel lol

Your piping and string work is magnificent! I learned from the Wilton School of decorating about 35 years ago. I was so disappointed in my wedding cake done by a local bakery. I figured I had enough to do as the bride so didn’t want to make my own wedding cake. I still regret that! The string work on mine was so messy I should have asked for some of my money back. I would say you have never had an unhappy bride!

Been making wedding cakes for years and never thought of a spinning wheel. I have used the cake plates that have the ball bearing spinner on the base but this is great.

I covered the cake in chocolate ganache, then a layer of fondant, followed by Royal Icing decorations.
