Why not? They don't have to deal with Dennis DeYoung. The reason for the song in the first place. They don't have to play, because Dennis is no longer in the band. So they're choosing to play it. Instead of being forced to.

Fact is , back in 2018, it was reported that the "current" Styx was adding ROBOTO into their setlist after 35 years because the fans (who were attending their concerts post Deyoung) and the promoters demanded it. In a big way, Deyoung felt vindicated when he spoke about the incident and he said "J.Y and Tommy always followed the money. With Deyoung the song 🎵 was played live by a tape. The "current" Styx actually played the song 🎵 on stage. I've seen a few concerts on TH-cam of them doing so. I make nothing here up
