    In today’s video I am at the Fairfield Card show, It’s one of the biggest and most prominent / well known card shows that is currently being hosted in ALL of Northern California. As a Whatnot Seller, and a person who relies solely on Sports Cards for their entire income right now, it is very important for me to make sure that I am stocked up on inventory. I primarily focus on Low-End NFL Sports Cards but I will dabble into every other card or thing to do with collectibles when possible. If the money is there and it makes sense to me at the time… I will more than likely be happy to do a deal. When going through the value bins, you realize everything you miss out on when going back and editing videos, sometimes it’s difficult to actually pick out every single good card, especially after a long day of hunting and searching these boxes for some amazing deals on Sports Cards. I also am looking for inventory for my eBay store, and my personal collection, which includes the Raiders, Athletics, and the Kings as well as Bogdan Bogdanovic. It’s truly amazing the amount of money that can be made when getting into sports cards.. if you make a plan and execute your plan, remember your numbers and stick to them.. you can see major success in starting a sports card business especially that of an online one. I will always be buying LOW END sports cards in bulk and I will hopefully be posting on TH-cam for there rest of my life. I hope you decide to join me on my journey of teaching and providing as many possible people joy through the shared love of cardboard that we all have.

    Can you make a video about how you store and organize your cards?

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea I certainly could; honestly most of the time I don’t really organize them, I have my eBay store organized a little bit, definitely a lot better of systems out there than what I use to store my random cards, with selling on whatnot, I mainly just prepare to move as many cards as needed; usually looking to sell about 400 cards across any and all types, majority of which being football cards. But I have certain methods of madness, like I’ll store a bunch of stuff I bought together just certain stuff like that.

      @@ruffasportscards do you have 4row boxes on shelves or just around the room?

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MissingWilson I put them on a shelf and a little desk, it’s actually just 3 rows and 2 rows I have a 5 row but that’s just like next to me pretty much

    Cool video. When getting carfs at a dollar bin/show, do you ever take the card out of rhe top loader and penny sleeves to check condition for grading?

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes sometimes I do! I don’t always, just because of the sheer quantity that I am purchasing, sadly sometimes you have those cards that are very mangled, but sometimes you can find some hidden gems forsure. I checked some out but I’ve only just sent my first psa submission to be graded on Monday of this week! So I’m only just starting to do that more and more :)

    Are you going to the Santa Clara show? I'll be set up there might have some stuff for you

      @ruffasportscards  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I probably more than likely won’t be attending that one , I’ll probably be going the Sacramento card show instead which is a couple of weeks afterwards, I just wouldn’t have enough time to try to recoup funds for both shows more than likely because they are so close together

    All those modern patch cards are tough to ship pwe & basically add nothing to actual card imo, need game, Panini sucks about that

      Make sure you subscribe if you havent already so you can enjoy more content l post in the future :) And Most definitely I agree with you there, I like patches and all that because it’s just a natural short print; if you get a blaster and it’s either you have a chance or you get one per blaster, the checklist can still be like 50 patches and then have more subsets for the patches (example being rookie threads from donruss and then donruss threads from donruss [one’s vets one’s rookies]) but it’ll be like you have a very slim chance to actually get that particular patch out of the box, and people still really like to collect them, it’s better than just a standard base random rookie at the least :)

    explain the profit, paying to go to a show and time, doesn't seem to make sense, could work fast food and make more

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I have a video where I go over all of the profit and numbers actually 😅 and yes it would make sense to go and work fast food and make more, for my current situation it makes more sense for me to build something. I’m making TH-cam content, building a Whatnot, building relationships with vendors, and I’m in profit! I’m building a personal collection, I’m building skills to run, manage, and grow a business and social media’s all from scratch. I’ve had plenty of jobs, and I’ll either be able to never have one again, or I’ll be able to work at a fast food place and do this as well. My ultimate plan is to get a job once I move out of my current place and then do this as well, I’ll be grinding my butt off most definitely hoping by next year. I’ll be working, doing whatnot, doing TH-cam, and selling on eBay, as well as direct sales. And then I have other business ventures I’ve always wanted to start as well. So yes it might make sense in the short term.. but long term I’m going to be just fine and even better off than if I had never started doing this.

      Ohhhhh yes the Daniel jones! I was gonna list it on eBay for 20$ eBay standard envelope, but I could do 16$ for a direct sale using pwe and I’d get a tracking number associated with the plain white envelope
