Hearing all of this news, I'd be interested to see four games happen one day. First I want an Arkhamverse Red Hood game, second is another Batman Arkham game after Arkham Shadow (maybe in VR or a console, I don't know), third is an Arkhamverse Nightwing game and last is maybe a completely separate Suicide Squad game. These are the games that I personally want to see get made in the future if possible.
Are we all that crazily shocked Rocksteady would make more Batman games again? Even if Suicide Squid was super successful, Batman is never going anywhere.
I would like to see a green lantern game and because of the power set and how many lanterns there are in the Green Lantern Corps alone I think a multiplayer title could work
I think it’s time the Arkham Series probably gets a remake tbh. Or we can also get another game studio jump in for their own Batman open world game without the “Arkham” title in it. I even have a TH-cam channel on a “what if” I made my own Batman verse game. I know I would never be able to make a Batman game myself, but I like to tell the story on my TH-cam channel, and share my own creativity and imagination.
I love the arkham games, grew up playing those and if they release more games ill definitely buy them but I want something different, maybe a green arrow game or arkham nightwing, we got characters so why not develop amoung them
Sadly, I haven’t heard anything for a couple years. All I know is that Telltale has held on to the license for a long time, so there’s a very good chance that they have plans to return to Batman eventually.
We want the Bat family also. Just not without Batman and janky mechanics that don’t just try and mimic Arkham but are the same. If it ain’t broke why fix it?
Meh maybe we will get a new Rocksteady batman game in 10 years or maybe WB will scrap it for tax purposes before it releases who knows. I will take a smaller scale Camoflaj sequel to Shadow in 3 years instead personally.
There have been rumors of a WB Montreal Superman game and an alleged remake of Arkham Asylum, but I haven’t seen enough evidence to confirm either one. Wonder Woman and a new Arkham game might be the only two in active development at the moment.
My feelings about this news is I guess....... bittersweet? I love Batman Arkham games (sans SSKTJL lol), so hearing them say they'll make another one is great, but hearing Zaslav just mention "specifically Batman" singling the character out as the focus makes me wary that WB is not gonna experiment with new IPs any time soon. And yes, SSKTJL was a huge flop, but even so it's not like Batman games have always been a huge hit before Arkham; pre Arkham Batman games just sold okay-ish. Hence, with Arkham Asylum, several were kinda skeptical going in whether it would do well, and it ended up blowing players and critics away, thus resulting in followups of City, Origins & Knight. WB really needs to take that leap of faith for a Superman game (or a Flash game, or Aquaman game etc etc) like they did with Arkham Asylum. Yet, given Zaslav's comments and WB for years have been ignoring fans' pleas for a Superman game, I have to say I feel doubtful that is happening anytime soon. Hope I'm wrong about this and they're secretly working on a Superman game, but that remains to be seen. As for doubts on Rocksteady on them taking on Arkham again, I do think some healthy skepticism is warranted. Especially since, when Sefton Hill & Jaime Walker left the company, what I remember hearing is several other developers actually left Rocksteady with them to their new game company Hunter Star games. So it may even be said that the current Rocksteady is not the same Rocksteady who produced Batman Arkham trilogy. Which is not to say that they can't make fantastic Batman games. But with all these new people in the company, they really need to prove themselves before fans can really trust them with this franchise.
Make a Superman game for fuck sake, how many years do we have to wait for that to happen? Probably 15 to 20 years for them to consider making one which is baffling that we may not get a Superman game until we’re in our 40s and 50s.
So there really making another one another batman game after he was controlled by brainiac and killed millions of people in metropolis i mean i don't mind for another batman game but why tho, why not superman, flash green lantern or a justice league game i can imagine insomniac games making their own version of dc games and make a justice league game that would be dope
Yeah I think they want rebooting the story of Arkham verse and make sskjl it's not canon story to the Arkham verse they want build from ak origins and I hope we can get Batman beyond games
It's ironic we told them what we didn't want and they basically said we don't know what we're talking about now that they've lost close to 300 million now they want to start listening😂😂😂 it's crazy too there's still too much going on in the console game industry right now to the point where they're not listening to fans they're charging too much money for games too much money for the consoles this is not going to end well for them because yeah this is a step in the right direction they still have not learned their lesson maybe they need to lose another couple hundred million 🤷♂️ and another thing WB there is absolutely no reason why any Batman game would need to be a PlayStation exclusive stop talking about that it's a cross platform franchise for a reason stop trying to fix what's not broken or we're gonna make sure you lose another couple hundred million and one last thing do something with Batman beyond and make a Justice League game we're not asking anymore we're telling you

The only ones I know about for sure are Wonder Woman and at least one new Arkham game.
