Good Afternoon Yates Crew! Commissioner here, and I just can't believe I got this track! This is actually my first Commission to Brandon and it honestly started out as a joke as at the time I was new to the VS community, but the more I thought about the matchup, the more I fell in love with it. I reached the point where it's not just my favorite matchup for both, its my favorite Matchup of All Time! I mean, Total Drama has always been my favorite cartoon and while Danganronpa isn't my favorite game series, it does mean a great deal to me. I always imagined the fight being an army battle between Junko, Mukuro, The Remnants of Despair(Class 77b) and Monokumas(obviously) against Chris, Chef, the Dangers of Wawanakwa, the Mutants from Revenge and the Robots from Pahkitew. Anyways, Junko has a much better chance at winning, but a Chris victory would be based as hell!

+Should be physically stronger than Junko with Owen scaling(A giant robot monster couldn't lift Owen, but Chris can knock him out with a frying pan for a few hours)
+His cowardice and unwillingness to face Junko could put the cards in his favor
+Everything on Chris' army should be able to easily take a normal Monokuma with scaling to the cast of TD(except for the Chrisbots) but...*
+Chef has much more combat experience than Mukuro, even if she is an Ultimate.
+Chris would also have home field advantage. Its way more likely that the fight would take place on Pahkitew Island than in Hope's Peak Academy.
=I'm pretty sure both can reach faster than light speeds (Chris has easily dodged lasers from Area 51/Junko scales to Izuru who I believe has done this berfore)
-Chris' army is much less likely to listen to him. Even Chef would sell out Chris if it meant his survival.
-Anything above a normal Monokuma can easily take out anything Chris can throw at them, except Chef potential.
-Junko is way smarter, like sooooo much smarter. Like seriously, she's the Ultimate Analytical Mind.
-Gundham can get the creatures to turn against Chris using his Ultimate Breeder abilities

(I don't know anything about either character so I maybe be misunderstanding here) so from what I've gathered it comes down to if Chris can finish the fight before his army is inevitably turned on him?
@@helios_is_my_name Basically that lmao. However, in the same vain, Chris can activate the self destruct on Pahkitew and ditch his army and let them all explode on the Island with Junko and her army. And from there, I can imagine one of two things happening. Either Junko gets excited about losing to a "2-bit celebrity" and blows up with everything else, or she uses her Analytical mind to turn off the Self Destruction and fires a Tree-Rocket at Chris' escape pod, killing him in the process.
I agree with this, except for Junko scaling to Izuru. Izuru laid both her and Mukuro out flat without batting an eye. At most Junko scales to Mukuro bullet timing.

I hate the fact that even after years of watching only Total Drama Island, never any of the later ones, I still clearly remember Chris' voice and could just hear him say this
"but! This does give me an idea for a challenge. Whoever makes Junko kick the bucket first wins immunity. And you get her Monokumas or whatever they are as an extra prize..oh this is gonna be good. Heh. Heh heh"

Honestly, with all the absolutely ridiculous shit I'm seeing and reading that campers, interns, Chef, and Chris survived/beaten, plus all the stuff he has at his disposal, I think Chris has the higher possibility for a genuine W
@@corneliussnow8215 They're both absolute psychopaths the difference is the art style portrayal in which many at first glance might not take Total Drama seriously until you realize the heinous shit he did in the show.
@@bipolareagle8892 Yeah, I only ever saw the very first season and from the clips I've seen, the shit people survive and deal with through the entire series is just insane. Hell, the very first challenge in the show, the cliff jump, would have killed everyone. The cliff is stated to be exactly 1,000ft which is the exact height of the 50 story One Shell Plaza building in Houston, Texas. Some of the shit they survive is downright impossible like in World Tour, Alejandro and Ezekiel both survive being completely submerged in Lava in the finale. I honestly believe that with proper scaling, Chris has the good chance of winning simply because Total Drama's Cartoon Logic feels more powerful and insane than Danganronpa's Anime Bullshit.

Haven't seen Danganronpa but I do know that Chris' does a lot of planning and preparation because his number one priority is always to make sure everything is completely safe. For himself, and nobody else.
I come from the other direction, so I don't know Chris at all, but Junko created a plan that basically brought about the end of the world, all without anyone finding out it was her pulling the strings until it was way too late. Literally the only reason she was later stopped is that she is addicted to despair, including her own. Even after her death, her presence has been felt across multiple sequels and anime.

@@mynameismaybeprobablynever5055 I can totally see this as something more akin to Dr. Eggman vs Dr.Wily where they both have their armies that fight for them. Chris with Chef, various or all campers from throughout the series, and all the creatures/robots they have accumulated vs Junko with maybe her Sister, Monokuma, Bots, and probably one of the classes she was with.
Or Junko proceeds to kill all of them and forces Chris to fight her himself.

Honestly, I feel these two would be more likely to chill on the beach cracking jokes with each other and sharing drinks while everyone else from both series suffers. Then again Chris is pretty narcissistic so he'd probably be jealous of Junko being part of a more dangerous contest than him.

@@John-Stark Junko might have a higher body count. But Chris’s contestants, staff,the pedestrians, law emforcement agencies, and wild life thatget caught in the middle of it suffer far, far, more.
Honestly the thought of how many people Chris would have gotten killed if they didn't have to worry about age rating scares me
@@John-Stark Even then, we know he does have a confirmed body count. In the last episode of island, he straight up said "all the other interns have died" before we see the last one plunge to his death. And we see several more die on screen.

She caused hundreds of students to commit suicide. Love this matchup, if we're allowing things like the various executions from DR and Total Drama's challenges, has a lot of insane potential if it were a real battle. Honestly prefer this to Chris vs Monokuma since I prefer the latter with Korosensei.
Also if this were an actual fight, would love to have an aside where Chef and Mukuro either fight or find solidarity in how crazy the other two are.

Chris: welcome people of the world to TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEA ISLAND where I have a whole host of old victi- I mean contestants ready to get 1 MILLION DOLLARS while competing in the most dangerous season with all the stops of the old seasons like the robotic island and the mutants are back and ready for round 3 on the campers
*we then see a helicopter fly in
Chris: and here are the campers
*class 77-b walks off the helicopter
Chris: First we got fan favorite Owe- HEY who are you, I didn’t invite you
Junko: ohh sorry Chris but we’re taking over the show in your stead
Chris: WHAT THE PRODUCERS KNOW THAT I’M THE FACE OF TOTAL DRAMA!!!! INTERN, get the producers on the line
Junko: oh no the producers never cast me to host, I’m taking over by force

*then another helicopter helicopter comes flying in with the strongest and most iconic contestants like Lightning, Owen, and Shawn

*the helicopter lands and all the contestants run out to begin the brawl, Junko smiles from all the despair she feels in the air
How I see this fight ending
*as Chris’s helicopter gets caught by a giant Monokuma then he gets grabbed by it and Junko sitting on top of the robot says
Junko: oh well, looks like your ride just left
*Chris then laughs manically
Chris: I was never on the island
*we then see a voom out to a control room far away from the island, then Chris looks at a camera and says
Chris: that’s right, I was always a robot and I’ve been here watching everything go down
*Chris then pulls out his phone and makes a call
Chris: INTERN, SET THE ISLAND TO SELF DESTRUCT, No I didn’t set up an escape pod just do it
*Chris then gets on the loud speaker
Chris: alright campers, the island has been set to self destruct and you have 10 minutes to get out of there before you go kablooy so get to swimming or rowing on the double
*we then see all the camper make a b line for the coast while class 77-b are thinking “this man isn’t that insane… is he?” We then cut to Chris saying something to the camera
Chris: and don’t worry we will be back soon with a whole new island and whole new challenges next time on TOTAL DRAMA
Junko: despair
*Chris then looks and sees Junko in the corner of his tent
Chris: HOW DID YOU
Junko: I was also a robot, I saw that you would do this and snuck in here
*Chris and Junko then get into a fist fight with a conversation in it
Junko: I’ve always been a big fan of you Chris
Chris: Thank you?
Junko: the way you give despair to everyone in such a way has motivated me to go and do the same thing to everyone in the world, and by taking over your show I can spread it to a worldwide scale and deliver delicious despair to all the people of the world
Chris: not on my watch, this is my show take over some other, less popular show, not mine
Chris’s ending
*Chris then grabs a frying pan and delivers one last line
Chris: you’ve done so much damage you don’t even get a walk of shame, I’m just sending you outta here the old fashion way
*he then hits Junko with the frying pan launching her out of the tent and several miles away, we then get a shot of Junko’s body flying with her head caved in and flying into space where then she floats beside the rocket that she sent into space all that time ago
Chris: wow that was so stressful that I’m going to have to take a break but all of you at home don’t worry we’ll be back on the air as soon as we possibly can so stay tuned for when we can film the next set of episodes on TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND!!!!!
Junko’s ending
*Junko manages to give Chris a dose of Anastasia leading to Chris falling unconscious and seeing Junko smile over him, he then wakes being tied with rope all around his bodywith a gag on his mouth and on a fake reconstructed version of the season 1 campfire and Junko is pulling out marshmallows and giving them to Monokuma robots with masks that resemble past campers with Chris being voted out, then he is dragged across the dock of shame with it being lined with Monokumas with masks that look like every previous camper laughing at him and destroying prized objects of his while being carried by Chef who has been mind controlled by Junko who then gets thrown on a golden speedboat with his face on it in a place that where Chris is surrounded by photos of himself failing at certain thing in his life then it begins driving at an incredibly fast pace almost to the point that his organs would melt until it crashes into his house and Chris sees that TNT is piled everywhere of which then gets blown up leaving nothing but a black hole in the ground and a piece of blue fabric flowing in the wind, we then cut to Junko looking at the destruction
Junko: wow that has got to be painful, well tune in next time for more episodes of TOTAL DRAMA DESPAIR ISLAND
Something I want in this fight is for confessionals to happen like Lightning could say
Lightning: Lightning was invited to attend Hopes Peak as a transfer but Lightning declined because Lightning wanted to stay with Lightning’s friends and Pops is the best athlete in the whole world so Lightning didn’t need to go to Japan to learn from the best when Lightning already learned from the best
And Chris could even say something like
Chris: so this girl thinks that she can just show up and take over my show and get away with it *scoffs* well then she has another thing coming
And even class 77-b and Junko can give confessions like
Gundham: so this Chris guy thinks that he can bring out animals against me? Well he has a thing to learn from the great Gundham

Junko: seeing Chris for the first time is so exciting, he’s my hero, too bad I have to kill him but the despair I’ll fear after killing him will be so exciting that I can barely contain myself

I knew this track would happen eventually. One of the biggest differences here is that Junko puts people in danger and people love her for it. Chris puts people in danger and everyone hates him for it.

I feel like Chris would take this considering his contestants survived things that would not be survivable in real life, he dodged lasers himself and can be compared to Owen and Noah in speed feats, and the fact that he is both physically stronger and he survived a island exploding at its EPICENTER. He also could use a lot of his robots which would assist him. As much as I like danganronpa, Chris wins this fight

The first time we see a total drama themed track, and what better way to introduce it than having the host, Chris McLean, in which, Honestly this is way better than junko fighting springtrap, Chris vs monokuma’s good, but he has Koro-sensei, this is very close but I feel like Chris barely manages to win this considering characters in total drama have done way more crazier stuff than characters in danganronpa, Chris can scale to Noah who dodged point blank laser beams, and Chris has dodged two lasers as well, Chris has the better strength as he can scale to duncan who can lift a whale, Harold who can chop through gold, lightning, who can bend metal bars, and Tyler who could hang off a mountain while holding the weight of Noah, Alejandro, Izzy, and even Owen, without is breaking off and one of his fingers is strong enough to break a piano just by touching it, Chris has the durability advantage, as characters like lightning can survive getting strikes by actual lightning, Sierra who survived the plane explosion, Ezekiel who can also survive a dip in lava, which is way beyond what any character in danganronpa can survive, junko definitely has the better intelligence, unless you wanna scale Chris to Noah, Cameron, B, and scarlet, who have all done some crazy stuff, Chris has the better army, sure junko has the monokuma units but they dont have anything against the mutant nor the robot animals, they can likely beat the Chris robots but definitely not the mutants, in conclusion Chris likely stomps, as junko has also died from getting crushed, while Chris can survive his own explosions, especially ones capable of destroying a yacht.
Junko has Relativists speed scaling too and she can do it while controlling multiple Monokumas which would make her faster. She scales to people who can harm Makoto which can fall thousands of feet without taking any damage at all. She is rough enough to survive being ran over, burned alive, shot by a minigun that shoots baseballs, moving at speeds so high they liquify others easily and was shot into space and quickly feel back to earth in seconds all of which is greater than anything in Total drama. And Monokuma should scale to her in all stats btw. And Junko is way smarter. She is capable of pulling the strings of the entire world which are filled with ultimates who are geniuses. She literally manipulates the apocalypse into happening and can low key predict the future. Also if we allow Junko the full extent of her army then not even the mutants or Chef will help Chris. She literally has 10^60 Monokumas. To put that into perspective, there are 10^75 atoms in the universe. Junko literally has a universe supply of Monokumas. Ok my take on this.
Chris makes the preparations for the reboot in Pahkitew Island when Junko arrives. He only has his interns, Junko arrived to fuck shit up.
First act
The interns get brutally killed. Chris realizes that this might be a problem while he escapes from the Kumas while calls Chef for something.
That is when he reaches his Badminton thing and makes his badminton discourse beating the crap out of all the Kumas when Peko arrives, just to be blasted by a meatball, Chef's rocket launcher.
He says he has a surprise for the intruder, dropping all the Revenge of the Island mutants.
Act 2.
Gundham tames the mutants and he thought he had everything under control until Zeke appeard and Oofs him and pretty much all of the ultimates gets oofed little by little until there's only Izuru, Nagito, Mukuro and Junko left
Izuru then starts to destroy all the mutants little by little along with Mukuro
After a moment of luck from Nagito that oofs Zeke. He chants victory, just to be both him and Izuru eaten by Larry.
Mukuro uses her gun to oof Larry, making Chris take this personal and call Chef
Act 3.
Chef and Mukuro have pretty much this duel Izzy and Chef had in Total Drama Island until he beats her since Total Drama gang are stronger
Chris then decides to release the Chris bots and Chef fucking runs away to the helicopter while an injured Mukuro is oofed by the bots like a Zombie swarm
Junko then goes through his hideout, being careful with the traps until she meets Chris and he cowardly tries to bribe her, just to be beaten up by Junko just to realize that it was one of the bots that was being manually controlled by Chef who was in the helicopter with the real Chris
Ending.
Chris knowing Junko was prepared to kill him, activated the Pahkitew Self-Destruction system.
"Let's end this fight with a bang"
And Junko feels horny af due to the despair overdrive she is feeling from her imminent death.

For the artstyle of this hypothetical episode, i feel like they would do a rick vs doctor and make chris in the danganronpa style or junko in the tdi style (this would be more canny)
I think Chris wins just because he's done more shit and has a better arsenal than junko plus. Junko mostly just had teenagers kill each other while chris has made them go through multiple challenges that would have killed them without toonforce and he's dogged lazers from area 51 while junko's best speed scaling is bullets.
I think the funniest thing about this match-up is that Chris unironicly wins. I've heard that both can get to relativistic to FTL, but Chris has three feats that put him at town level which I've never heard for Junko or her scaling.
If this matchup became a reality as an Official Episode or just a DBX Episode,It would be so Funny as Hell.

I know people are imagining this fight as everything at Junko and Chris' disposal. But, I actually think this match-up would be cool if it was the Danganronpa THH characters vs 14 Total Drama Island characters(Season 1 to World Tour specifically) & Chef Hatchet at the end to fight Mukuro. Whichever side has the most members survive wins and gets to watch the losing side get executed with their representative.
Now in terms of who would win in this scenario. While yes Danganronpa characters are capable of some pretty good feats and are arguably more overall intelligent, the Total Drama cast have been able to pull off some the most dangerous feats like surviving a huge cliff dive into water, dodging lazers and surviving explosions. This is all without getting into Chef Hatchet and Izzy while also assuming Mutant Ezekiel is not included in the match-up.
Owen probably solos the entire danganronpa cast tbh

Even Chris himself would be too durable to be easily killed, considering he survived an island's destruction and he scales to Izzy and Owen surviving a Jumbo jet crushing them (~200 tons). That's way more than any Danganronpa character has canonically survived. Junko may have peak analysis skills, but that does nothing when her foe is beyond her capacity to damage.

Eh, I don't really see Chris winning this one. Chris while being conniving is nowhere near Junko's level in terms of intelligence and her insane durability mached with fte reaction times make her way out of his league.
He has survived plane crashs and exploding islands and has a shit ton of mutants, robots and deadly trained animals at his side. I wouldn't count him out that quickly.

I want a scene where Chris unleashes the mutants from season 4 and they run to tear apart class 77-b but then Gundham uses his ultimate breeder ability to tame the animals with it cutting to a confessional with Gundham saying “HA if Chris really thinks that animals would work on the GREAT GUNDHAM then he has to start thinking more” (the plants still go on a rampage) but when the animals try to run back to tear up the campers they see Justin and then turn around and rip up 77-b and ignore Gundham with it cutting away and seeing him say “I didn’t see that coming” before getting blown away and flying because of a mole
Now I wanna know how this would work fight-wise, since both characters aren't known for throwing punches, but moreso for manipulating others.

Well I initially thought of the matchup as a war. Chris gaining the Creatures from Seasons 1-3, The Mutants from Season 4, the Robots from season 6, the McLean Bots and Chef. While Junko gets the Monokumas, The Ultimate Despairs(Class 77b) and Mukuro.

As for how the fight/battle would go or play out: I'd like to imagine it's a guerilla style last man or woman standing kind of thing. My $ would still be on TDI's Owen.
This match is interesting and has a lot of good connections. But I prefer Joker vs Junko, although this one is very interesting and I consider it as a good alternative
The soundtrack is magnificent, it has a good rhythm, it has touches of a certain total drama opening theme and it combines well the touches of the Dangaronpa soundtracks.
About the good combat it is difficult because it is even, also knowing the characters well they would put their competitors instead of fighting themselves and but when the competitors can no longer continue. there comes the heavy cavalry chris has high physical statistics, in addition to the equipment, he also has an intelligence close to that of junko and junko has the intelligence, experience, lethal weapons and useful special abilities. This only comes down to which of the two better executes everything they have going for them. Junko, thanks to his information analysis and precognition, predicts much of Chris's things, has knowledge in martial arts and induction of paralysis and having multiple personalities. let's not forget the monokumas he has, but chris is not an idiot he would notice that junko is predicting his moves and would obviously use tricks that would negate junko's precognition like being random (junko's precognition only works if the opponent is predictable) and keeping busy to junko. To use the best of his equipment to keep her in control, he might even fool Junko with one of his dolls or robot-chris. I think this match would depend on many things of these two, the truth

Junko will put others for death games because she enjoys the despairing feeling about it, and unlike Chris, she isn’t above killing her own partner if it helps her goal...
I’ll say Junko has better supplies and powerful equipment then Chris, not to mention while she doesn’t mind putting on a show, killing her contestants isn’t off the table, even if the audience wouldn’t like it. She has many advantages over Chris, yet one clear weakness... Her despair love is so bad that she would die for it if it sounded like a terrible death for herself... And to be honest, that’s Chris advantage, that is the only way he can win. He is one who would put anyone’s safety on the line for a better rating, but his own of course.
The only thing Chris needs to do is outlast Junko.... Chris has done 5 seasons of Total drama, and it wasn’t always a nice experience for him even when he tried to make it nice. Much as I think Junko may be more powerful, she is weak in controlling her desire for despair. He could beat her.

Ok, THIS would be an insane fight. I think Junko would pull off a win but DEFINITELY not easily. Everyone caught in the crossfire needs to pick a god, pray, then make peace with him or her for they will be meeting said god before that fight ends.

I could totally see a potential ending where Chris wins involving Junko being “voted off” in a much more deadly way.
I myself had another opponent in mind for Junko and that’s Coconut Fred. Here me out.
They both cause massive amounts of chaos and suffering but contrast each other in how they act.
* Fred is but a loony local that spends his days messing around which leads to him screwing up, people suffering, and him deciding to not do the bad thing.
* Junko has a despair fetish who intentionally caused her world to plunge into despair because of her love for despair. Doing it intentionally.
* Fred has reality warping powers like manifesting being and events into reality which could bring about the apocalypse but hasn’t whereas Junko made use of her analysis abilities to plunge the world into despair on an apocalyptic scale.
Basically one has possibly world ending powers yet hasn't brought about the end-times and other has powers that aren't able to end a world but had been used to do so.
I could see some fight potential with Junko trying desperately to keep up with Fred’s antics. Possibly even having them interrupting other fights and culminating in Fred removing Junko’s ability to feel and derive pleasure from despair out of ignorance.
I just want to see Coconut Fred on Death Battle just for the fight potential and for Wiz and Boomstick to realize how destructive this SpongeBob ripoff could be.
Back to the matchup at hand. If you could have the cast of either DanganRonpa 1, 2, or V3 be contestants on Total Drama, who would you go with?
