Commissioner here, back again. I actually didn't know this matchup was so popular when I commissioned it, I just thought it was the perfect matchup for my favorite Villains of all time. Two serial killers who primarily target minors with Mascot themes and obsessed with misery. Glad everyone likes it and maybe it'll be a match someday.
Yeah it's one of the most popular matchups they haven't done yet. Only question is, I assume(based on what I hear) you asked for one of the FNAF fan songs as William's base? The fanbase as a whole generally considers the FNAF 3 Trailer Theme to be William's best and most canon theme.
@@kalkuttadrop6371 Yeah I used Natewantstobattles Salvaged as the reference track. Honestly I kind of just watched FNAF on the sidelines until I played Security Breach since I actually had a PC when it came out. After that I fell in love with the series and now I have all the games, all the books, a bunch of merch, all of that. So I haven't really seen the trailer and didn't even know he had a theme like that. In fact I kind of thought of Salvaged as his theme.
@@dillonf1905 Never heard of that, but it's alright. Ya'll didn't know. We only just finished polling for what was the definitive 'William Afton" Theme yesterday(specifically for a commission actually, guess we were just too slow). FNAF 3 trailer theme (A Storm Brews) was considered the best fit because it covered Afton as a whole and not a specific form(The FNAF 3 menu theme is specifically Springtrap themed) and had a lot of energy, so we were going to put that forward for future commissions. Remnants of Despair also won this mornings poll 95% for the name of said track, but again, guess we were too slow on that.
@@kalkuttadrop6371 You know it's funny you say that because I almost suggested that name to Brandon but I wasn't too crazy about it since theirs a group in Danganronpa called the Remnants of Despair.
*The camera flickers from static to an outside view of the ravaged and rotten remains of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Havoc and destruction reigned all throughout the streets, people in Monokuma masks rioting and Monokuma units devouring bloody corpses* *Inside Freddy’s itself, a teenage girl with her hair curled into oversized pigtails playfully skipped around, her tone and expressions a mocking contrast to the setting the world has fallen into. This girl was Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Despair, currently in one of her different emotional states* Junko: Wowie~! My worldwide tour has been going swimmingly! I spent so much time planning everything in teeny weeny Japan, I forgot all the “totes adorbs” despair everywhere else! *As Junko sprung around the restaurant in her sadistic cheer, the foundation of one of the walls cracked open and collapsed, revealing a secret room that hadn’t been made known before* Junko: *Her hair now tied into a ponytail and donning glasses she doesn’t even need* Oh? My oh my… could this be… a storage room hidden from the public view? My my… color me surprised… whatever could be inside…? *As the smoke cleared, a decrepit golden rabbit suit laid slumped against the wall. The mascot suit twitched and jerked its fingers. Its eyes flickered upwards, meeting Junko’s own. This didn’t escape Junko’s notice… and yet-* Junko: Oh. It’s just a boring old rabbit. *Junko grumbled out, her mood suddenly gloomy while mushrooms grew out her head. Sighing, Enoshima turned her back, playing with her hair in a despondent mood* Junko: How sad… I heard so many legends of super, super, super despair happening around here… and yet when I finally arrive, I- *Suddenly, a gold-plated hand swiped at Junko, the girl dodging just in time as she bent herself backward. The sorrowful persona was gone now, replaced with a devilish grin* Junko: …gotcha going there, didn’t I? *As the Ultimate Despair stabilized herself, the bunny let out a menacing chuckle. A chuckle full of depravity and a disregard for life. A chuckle that could only belong to William Afton.* William: You’re spry… reminds me of so many of the others that tried standing before me. Junko: Spry? Oh, yeah! I’m just a total junkie for this type of stuff! After all! I’m- Junko and William in unison: “Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Despair!” William: Yeah yeah yeah, I heard, kid. A few layers of walls don’t drown out the noise you made out there. Quite a mess you made out there… *William brandished a knife in his hands* William: Such a waste of good remnant, though. Lucky for me, I see a viable source of remnants right in front of me… *Junko laughed, tossing her head back as she gained a wild rocker persona* Junko: Is that so?! Well, come on, jackass! You look like you need a heaping helping for DESPAIR~!
The connections for these monsters are • They’re the main villains of their respective series, who are the murderous mysterious masterminds who corrupt a seemingly innocent place and mainly target children (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and Hope's Peak Academy) to use as a launchpad for their schemes. • Both would use animal costumes to do their killings without getting caught for them and escape free (Springbonnie and Monokuma) • Both would have partners that they would do their business with (Henry and Afton were partners and created Fazbear Entertainment and Muruko and Junko worked together for Junko’s mission. But both would end up betraying them and ending their lives (William betrayed Henry to kill children including Henry’s daughter, and Henry killed himself to try and kill William himself and Junko betraying Muruko and killing her in cold blood) • In their spin off novels, both would false identities to get away with their murders without being detected (Ryoko Otonashi and Dave Miller) • Both would eventually get caught for their murders and killed by kids they tortured, and the kids teamed up to stop their murders and they would end up being crushed by their own creations (The dead kids’s spirits trapped William in the back room and William put on Springbonnie suit to be safe but the suit’s spring locks kicked in and crushed William inside the suit and Junko was killed because of the Ultimate Punishment and was subsequently crushed to death) • But both would return many times and become an AI presence to haunt the characters again and never be killed (Springtrap always coming back and becoming Glitchtrap and Junko returning in her Alter Ego Junko form to get her revenge on the characters) • Both lived posthumously through "remnants" of themselves (Junko's ideology carried by the Remnants of Despair and Remnant being the phenomenon that fused William's soul to SpringBonnie). • Both would use a feeling of intense turmoil (Despair and Agony) that they think every should feel because of something in their past (Junko wanted everyone to feel Despair because of her pure boredom and Afton is fueled by pure Agony because of the hate in his past) • Their disciples got obsessed with the idea of being the new them and depending on the ending of SB both stopped obsessing over it when they noticed what they could've become (Monaca and Vanny) • A Costume wearing girl succeeded their plan (Vanny and Tsumugi) at a time where they are basically just some parts of fiction people can watch/play (Even though William was real unlike Junko his story was viewed as some legend that wasn’t real and was turned into games at the time) • Pulled the strings on the background after their "Death" on a game (Springtrap being revealed to be the mastermind behind the Glamrocks and Junko in both DR1 and DR2) • Caused all of their family's death including a girl that actually tried to help them because of giving legit shit about them... That ended like Shit (Elizabeth and Mukuro) • Their mascots have a lot of different designs (Springtraps many forms in the games and AR and UDG Monokumas in general) • Responsible for biggest tragedies in their world (Missing children incident and The Tragedy) • Before their true self is discovered they were famous among their world for their overall massive success in their media (William designing Animatronics and most overall most popular diner places on his world/Junko faking her ultimate as being a fashionista and being very successful in fashion thanks to her real ultimate talent)
Lowest end they should be wall level, highest end the Puppet should have universal reality warping because of UCN messages confirming it is Hell and that the Puppet made the Hell for Afton. Mind you only the Puppet is this way, and Afton should be building level because he survived the collapse of three burning buildings and can transmit his consciousness through computers (Help Wanted).
This is weirdly kind of a close fight, though. Both of them are actually pretty smart - Junko masterminded the killing game, and William discovered the mystical secrets of Remnant. Monokuma is way faster, but the Springtrap suit is much tougher (i.e. survived buildings falling on him SEVERAL times). Also, Junko can command numerous Monokumas at once, but Security Breach revealed that Springtrap can also hack into and control other robots. It comes down to whether or not Springtrap can make it to Junko herself behind her commanded tools and bots.
It's not a true horror franchise unless the villain sticks around even after dying. Cold blooded killers, always hiding in the background, waiting to bring terror on the world. Don't know how this would go but it would certainly be a... unique matchup.
Wiz: Junko Enoshima-The mastermind behind the biggest, most awful, most despair-inducing event in human history. Boomstick: And William Afton-A.K.A Springtrap-The man behind the slaughter that caused the downfall of his own Chuck-E-Cheese pizzeria. Wiz: These two psychotic, but highly cunning and intelligent villains have caused great pain and tragedy in their respective universes. Boomstick: UNTIL karma/death finally caught up to them. Wiz: But like they always say, evil never truly dies. Boomstick: At least not permanently. But one of these living examples of undying chaos will make sure the other is burned in Hell for good. He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick! Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!
It's 2AM and my autistic brain's going NUTs over the ideas of this. -Fight starts out inside Hope's Peak, wherein Junko notices that some of her Monokuma's aren't really.... functioning properly, leaking blood from inside and emitting strange moans every now and then. As she goes to investigate the root, multiple silhouettes of William Afton are seen stalking about the background, when she finally enters a storage room..... she finds nothing. 0:00 kicks in as a brief flash of William's face appears over Junko and she hops back to evade a knife slash. -To showcase her insane durability, William eventually manages to grab a lock of her hair, pull her forward and essentially prison shank her 20 times. Junko just laughs in sync with the stabs before grabbing Williams stabbing arm, whirling around as if though she were ballroom dancing and slam him into the wall. -William swiftly realizes he can't really do shit to her, and makes a beeline for a springbonnie costume he "suggested" Junko keep incase morale becomes an issue, you can guess where this is going. As Junko leaves the building (probably with a sarcastic remark like "let's see you build your way out of this, tinkerer") and the music fades, a sudden explosion goes off and she goes FLYING as the music kicks back into gear. Springtrap now stands with a veritable legion of animatronics behind him, answering Junko with "You forget, i don't tend to fancy my legacy's sudden end." before she calls her Monokuma's in and a army-style battle ensues. -The animatronics savagely rip into the Monokuma's, while the Monokuma's attack in fatal slapstick-esque manners befitting their creator's nature, a sort-of natural ping pong. In the dead center, Junko and Springtrap clash, the former now holding William's knife still slick with her own blood while Springtrap attempts to simply bludgeon the Ultimate Despair to death. -As the fight rages on, Springtrap takes more damage that starts to make him resemble his other forms. Junko jams the knife into his right forearm and tears it off, giving him a new stabbing implement similar to Scraptrap. A bunch of Monokuma kamikazee themselves onto him, he walks out looking like Burntrap and so on. -Eventually, Junko manages to land a fatal blow on Springtrap by slicing him in half with the front end of a excavator. As she pulls him closer towards her, asking if he's finally starting to feel despair, Springtrap goes cold. As Junko stands there, confused, he begins chuckly and says "Miss.... you couldn't even *begin* to fathom the despair i harbor." . As he finishes saying that, the remnants of all the animatronics and Monokuma's compile into the massive Afton Amalgamation, the massive beast simply craining it's head down and roaring "WHERE'S YOURS?!". Junko responds by snapping her fingers, summoning the Big Bang Monokuma to contest. -Big Bang Monokuma eventually manages to plunge his claws through the Afton Amalgam's chest, only for it to stab it's "jaw" into the giant bears head and collapse forward, impaling the unfortunate Junko with a bunch of scrapmetal. As the bisected remains of Springtrap sit up, his eyes flash pink and we're sucked into the digital world as Alter Ego Junko attempts to hijack the animatronic while haughtily boasting about how "he should've thought twice before trying to outdo the Ultimate Despair", only for William to laugh again and coldly state "oh, i wasn't planning on that.". The digital world goes dark as a distorted, photorealistic splice between Glitchtrap and a distorted William Afton face appears before Alter Ego Junko, purple tendrils creeping from around the sides of it. More sprawl out and begin to stab into and through Junko as she attempts to wriggle free, only for three more to stab themselves through her eyes and mouth, completing her assimilation. In the real world, Springtrap is now standing on a reassembled torso made from junk with three legs, while an army of purple-eyed Monokuma's loom in the distance. Springtrap's eyes flash purple towards the screen, and it bugs out as a stretched version of the spliced face momentarily shows up before cutting to black.
Yes, this is a serious matchup, I hate the fact some of the staff doesn't think so. It's the ONLY option for both that would allow them to use all their forms. Human Junko vs Human William, Monokuma vs Springtrap, Alter Ego Junko/Junkolandification vs Glitchtrap/The Afton Virus, and if you want to go full Kaiju fight there's The Afton Amalgam and Big Bang Monokuma
That would be ridiculous to see though in my opinion; a man beating a teenage girl. It would make sense to have SPRINGTRAP attack Junko. I prefer Springtrap vs Chucky
@@chaisonpeyton I mean, going by usual arsenals, it would be Springtrap and his Afton Virus animatronics against Junko and her horde of Monokumas. It wouldn't be a one-on-one, because both of them command other robotic beings. Springtrap vs Chucky is honestly a stomp in Springtrap's favor :\
Or I can do you a better one I can see Afton crashing into one of the academy rooms do to a blow from Junko as a they exchange blows in the background of a munch of Monokuma dancing to the beat who know maybe even the Fazbear animatronics are there dancing as well
This is THE most popular matchup to have never been covered in any semi-official capacity(No DB, No DBX, no DBC stream, no Yates track). It's good to see it finally get some attention after all this time. Slightly disappointed it sounds like FNAF Fan Songs were used for Williams basis instead of the FNAF 3 Trailer Theme(basically his official theme), but still! Love the energy
Junko: Like this old place would be perfect for a killing game. Plenty of halls and hidden areas to crawl around in, perfect for getting away with murders and stuff. Just gotta tidy this place up a bit. Ooh, what's behind here? ... ... Ulk! Eeeewww! What is this thing? Were they storing meat in costumes? Whatever, little Monokuma bot get rid of that thing. (A Monokuma bot walks forward and reaches for the large mascot) Afton: RWWAAAAARRR!!! *SMASH* Junko: Oh... You would be perfect for a game I have in mind. (Pulls out a knife) Might need to fix your head for it though.
Let's all be real. We all knew this one was gonna happen sooner or later. And despite not being a fan of it, I sure welcome the top quiality music track that brings despair withing the rave!
@@socialaccount0000 This match up is really brought *a lot* by the community, and overrall, I'm surprise you've never heard of Danganronpa. It's plot consist of several highschoolers of exelent capabilities (referer to as the "Ultimates") that are trapped into their school, being forcé to kill each other, in Order to gain their right for freedom. I played the first two games. They're really good. The games on pretty much any System except for XBOX I believe.
Wiz: William Afton, The Springtrap of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Boomstick: And Junko Enoshima, The Psycho Killer Girl from Spike Chunsoft's Danganronpa. Less despair more like outright unhinged. Junko especially is a monster, after all the most terrifying forms of insanity are the few that can appear to be sane.
Figured that a commissioned track for this matchup was kind of inevitable 😆 Given how the DB crew seems to be rather dismissive of this idea as of now, I'm praying the community support can turn that around and make it happen lol. And as always, Brandon knocked it out of the park with this
I don't understand the concept or connections behind this mu at all. I feel all of Junko's matchups are mid but this one flat out doesn't pique my interest at all because I don't understand it.
@@kalkuttadrop6371 That's what people are saying in the comments, but I'm still not keen on it. I'm all for wacky battles, but the lack of any interesting connections just makes me despise this matchup

YOOOOO I love this matchup, great track! The cover looks fittingly spooky as well, bold choice to channel that instead of both William and Junko flashiest traits
FYI the two tracks used as a basis here are the FNAF Fan Song "Salvaged" and The Ultimate Punishment theme from the end of DR1. (If anyone ever feels like commissioning a part 2, I'd personally suggest "A Storm Brews"(FNAF 3 Trailer Theme), and Junko Enoshima Theme(The End of Hopes Peak). Both because those are arguably their 'definitive official themes', but also because they'd combine to be a lot more slow and foreboding ala FNAF instead of the high energy danganronpa style this one went for)
Was really overthinking this the past few days. Afton's best hope is to mindcontrol Junko without her realizing it. Had this crazy idea that Afton has an accomplice in a Monokuma-looking bear costume, kinda like Vanny.
Wiz: Fear, nightmares, and despair the definition of painful death. Boomstick: you know what else is painful...how hard it is to kill and forget these murderers. Wiz: william Afton from five nights at Freddy's. Boomstick: and junko from the dangonronpa. Wiz: These two have show what it's like to live and survive through immeasurable pain. Boomstick: whether it be stuffed into furry suit or become the internet virus for games. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick. Wiz: and it's our job to test out their weapon armor and skill to see who would win a deathbattle.
Not my favorite Junko matchup but one I'm slowly getting the appeal of, and a very fun track that fits Junko's psychotic self wonderfully well, amazing work on this despairing track :)
@@mydeadlyadventuredescanorj9756 Oh I know a few of the conenctions of the two from memory, tho only a few off the top of my head since I know much more about DR than FNAF, mostly about them being psychopathic kid murderers who have a tendency to come back to life in a way after death. If I had to say probably prefer her against Chris McLean from Total Drama, mostly cause I know him more and I think their psychotic personalities behind their celebrity-like layers could make for a fun dynamic. Still see value in both fights though.

I'd be down for this episode. The analysis would be interesting, seeing Wiz and Boomstick go over the lore of both series, and the fight...Depending on what they'd use for FNAF scaling, there are a lot of directions it can go in.
@@MrVideo540 I can also imagine them showing scans from the comic adaptations during William's rundown, so they have something to show that isn't just gameplay. Also, can you imagine them bringing up FNAF world?
@@MrVideo540 Id argue the oposite as the only series they did that route for was Star Wars and because if its better continuity Tho if they run the novel route they are probs scaling Junko to Tsmugi and arguing 2-A in which even Fnaf world aint touching
@@MrVideo540 Kinda but you can get enough from the mainline games(and anime in Junko's case) to get a feel for scaling. So in this case Wall level Springtrap vs maybe City Block+ Junko?(idk where they will scale her given the Monokuma shiz) And the reason I argue this is because they have to show proof and showing a novel scan aint entertaining to the general populus. That and if we get into novels you have to go to both ends of the road and thats weird and the cannonology of each are also contentous so it would be a headache on the best of days. Simplier just to use the mainline fnaf games and DRTHH DRGB DRDG and DR3 for the feats and scaling
I'm honestly surprised this matchup has taken so long to have a track commissioned, honestly, I don't think I've seen more coverage for a single matchup than this one
Also, tbf, it kind of NEEDED to be fast because that's how Danganronpa music is. Also, the fight itself would likely have Springtrap facing Junko's army of Monokumas before being able to directly attack her. So a slow track wouldn't fit the choreography in the first place, because that's not how the fight would play out.
@@3kojimbles895 Junko has the same. She can tear people's souls out of their bodies, take control of them, even upload copies of herself into someone's body. She was only limited by the rules of the Neo World Programme and implied that was why she couldn't just delete everyone outright, which wouldn't apply here.
@@epiccarrot88 Not really. She literally never tore someone's soul out of their body, wtf? And nope, Kiyo doesn't count because the V3 verse takes place in a different universe than the standard Hope's Peak saga. Not to mention that it was implied to just be special effects anyway. She also wouldn't be able to take over Springtrap, considering that was just an A.I version that she never controlled (giving Junko the A.I is like giving the Infinity Gauntlet to Iron Man). Even then, Junko can't do shit to William's soul. Springtrap has already been proven to be able to hijack robots that are more advanced than him such as the Rockstar animatronics (btw Rockstar Freddy only resists Springtrap with outside help), so Springtrap would have no problem hacking into the Monokumas. Also, Springtrap obviously won't enter the Neo World Program because it can only be accessed by special sleep pods on the island which Springtrap won't enter.
Oh god its this one. While idrc for the man behind the slaughter, I know for a fact that a specific subreddit is gonna go crazy as heck on this one. Anyways, why does this one go so hard, was expecting something more ominous, but it's a banger so it's good
Yes finally! I hope this becomes a real matchup soon! And THANK YOU for putting "William Afton" and not just 'Springtrap'. This is so much more than JUST Springtrap. This is William Afton the human, Springtrap the Animatronic, which eventually becomes Scraptrap, Glitchtrap the AI, the Burntrap, the Afton Amalgams.....Springtrap is just one of half a dozen forms
Thank you! I feel the exact same way. To be completely honest, I feel like the DBM subreddit has flanderized this matchup to the point where people don't take it seriously. Apparently even some of the actual DB crew can't tell if people actually want it as an episode or not (spoiler alert: they do want it).

Also, Agony specifically works off Zero Point Energy which can boil all of the oceans at the same time according to physicists, which at high end, can actually be Muti Continental to even Moon level”
I really curious how this fight would look like in practice. What version would be used for both? In battle of wits, Junko definitely stomps, being one of the most intelligent characters in the franchise, bending the world to its knee and manipulating several other highly intelligent characters into her schemes with her world class analytical skills, with her despair obsession being one of the only things that could be used against her. Other than that, it really comes down to what both of them are allowed to use. Also this OST seriously slaps!
Not really. Stomp is when some character literally wins in 2 or more aspects like powers and speed and they are soo freaking high that versatility/skills doesn't matter. Like this matchup wiliam wins mid diff, i would say that if this matchup happens they are probably going to give everything they had except probably the 2 spin offs games of danganronpa because i think i heard they werent Even real, i think wiliam wins just because his INSANE durability and remmanant (not the one from rwby)like remmanant only can be destroyed/removed with one specific thingy that junko definitively doesn't have, also he has varius forms in Fnaf ar that can be used and most importantly, his ai manipulation that makes monokumas his allies. Also he has the glamrock animatronics. And he has also some thingys in the books that are pretty insane like his ilusorial disc that makes him look like a big huge monster to people and many other things. Correct me if i am wrong
@@omegaaklx303 Well, I did say *battle of wits* , since Junko definitely is the more intelligent of the two. Also, I did a bit of research to be sure, but I would say for Junko we can use Danganronoa 1, 2, Zero, UDG and the anime since they are canon (excluding V3 for obvious reasons). Considering that, the playfield definitely evens out, if not sways more in Junko's favour since especially the anime give Danganronpa chars absurd feats to which she can be scaled to. I mean, she isn't a pyhsical fighter, relying more on manipulation and despair, but according to the series' writer, she could beat the "Ultimate Boxer" Juzo Sakakura and, with the right weapons, even the "Ultimate Martial Artist Sakura Oogami ("Ultimate"-Titles are only given to persons who are the literally best of the world in their field to a superhuman extent). This is possible due to her talent to effortlessly analyze her surroundings and people in an instant, predicting their movement and even copy their abilities to an extent. Also her durablity isn't bad either, since she take a lot of punishment before finally dying, like getting blasted by a baseball machine gun a thousand times, getting hit by speeding fire truck and even exiting and re-entering the earth's atmosphere in a rocket designed to execute people by crashing to the earth at orbit height. Not saying, Afton couldn't kill her, if he gets the jump on her, she is still human after all, but he would definitely has a hard time doing so. And this is without several Monokuma units at her disposal. I probably wouldn't give her Big Bang Monokuma (= kaiju Monokuma) because this wouldn't be fair and it's more a part of Monaca's arsenal anyway. Sadly, I'm not that knowledgeable on Afton, but unless we're talking about a composite version, aren't book and game Afton two different versions? Also, if I remember correctly, at least Burntrap/Springtrap is Afton's rotting body in a damaged golden robot bunny suit (with his soul trapped inside, I think?), so what happens if the suit is potentially dismantled with violence?
@@raziel2499 Dismantling the suit just Frees the spirit which actually is a proven method given FNAF3. So his remnant would probably just possess a monokuma(Along with him then remarking that he always comes back.) And that's not even going over Glitchtrap which.... Junko also has a version of funnily and we don't really know the full extent of either. But the only way to kill Afton is with fire .... The thing he's very much known for coming back from.
@@dgmbomb The Junko AI was capable of taking over the Neo World Program, a synthetic virtual world built as a collaboration by several Ultimates to rehabilitate brainwashed people suffering from despair by directly interfering with their minds and memories , with the prime example of the Remnants of Despair, a class of Ultimates responsible for the end of the world. The only reason AI Junko didn't just killed them by deleting their personalities was because she needed their bodies to upload herself in them and self imposed rules. The program had built in defenses which were overpowered by her via being installed as a virus. Now obviously, Glitchtrap being in the program would be giving her homefield advantage, so on a neutral ground, I would guess they would be more evenly matched. I would even going as far and say that her AI is probably more advanced than Glitchtrap or the Afton Virus, being a reprogrammed replicate from one of Chihiro Fujisaki's (Ultimate Programmer) creations, but that's just my opinion. But since the track says, it's for Junko and Afton, I would guess their AI counterparts aren't really the focus, especially since they're both count as seperate characters despite the same personality to their original.

He tries his hardest to run forward and jump junko, but she simply puts her hand out and touches his forehead. We see inside of the springtrap, with Williams true form exposed. “What, this can’t be! My design is perfect, how could you breach my systems!” A massive AI junko forms from the ending of DR2. “Oh? You hoped your silly little carnival attraction would work? That hope is meaningless, you’ll become another one of my ultimate despairs.” William finds himself in a new room. A screen appears “The Final Night - Ultimate Serial Killer William Aftons Execution”. The souls of the crying children begin to flood William, except this time they dawn the shillouette of the ultimate despairs. He breaks free, only to see the springtrap animatronic itself holding a knife. It proceeds to stab William in the head, and he is finished off by the press that killed junko If springtrap wins A giant horde of Monokuma explode on William. A dust cloud obscures the image. “Your hope was never enough to overcome my despair.” Yet from the ashes rises springtrap. “Fascinating, it seems you believed that you had a chance of killing me.” Junko jumps forward to hack Williams systems, but he grabs her hand. “How are you still alive?” “I always come back!”. He proceeds to do his famous jumpscare, and bite off junkos head, a reference to the bite of ‘87
I'm a pleasantly surprised to see Brandon do this one, glad someone requested this despair filled matchup! Another possible Halloween matchup would be a battle of the most popular creepy pastas who gave children endless terror and lurks in the shadows waiting to find you. Herobrine vs sonic exe ("Want to play a game?" ) Can be the title of the song
r/Deathbattlematchups must be absolutely ecstatic right now with this song's release. I gotta admit when I first saw the song's MU I told myself "oh come on" as it's one of those MUs I just really don't understand. And it involving FNAF would probably mean a relatively low energy song that'd be decent but nothing great. Well needless to say: I was bloody freaking wrong. It's surprisingly high intensity and high energy and truly feels like an actual battle (given, I still have no idea how it'd actually go down given that FNAF lore is an utter mess and my knowledge of the animatronics stops at "funny child/murder-possesed robot".) Another thing about this that's interesting is that even with all that energy and intensity, the song still has a lot of tension and "horror" to it. For example the piano bits (IE: 0:44-0:55) and much harder bass segments (IE: 1:16-1:18) give a slight but still notable feeling of, well, despair to it. Kinda like those atmospheric notes in horror movies ( this extends to the background instrumental which feels like it's directly taken out of an horror movie too). And that's something that fits wonderfully here. Next thing to note about this song is just how well fitting for both characters the chorus (IE: 2:03-2:36) is and how it has multiple layers to it. On one hand it fits Dangonronpa by being of course high energy and electronic with a feeling of tension installed by the quick and repetitive notes and it also fits Afton with the piano parts of it that play along with the FNAF side of things greatly. And the fact that both the electronic and the piano renditions of the main melody interchange and go one after the other makes for a great dynamic of who has the advantage when during the chorus (of course you could also argue that the electronic parts fit Afton too due to the fact that, y'know, animatronic. So another way of seeing it would be just the two sides of each characters "fighting" against one another as each character shows one side of themselves or the other throughout the fight.) But that's not it for the chorus. Indeed, something really interesting about it (and quite a lot of the song, too) is its repetitiveness. I mentioned just earlier that the quick and repetitive notes of the song fit the Dangonronpa OST, but it also fits Afton (and assuming Junko too) well in their repetitiveness due to the fact that he's pretty freaking notable for always coming back from one game to another no matter what (hell, he says so himself), making this repetitiveness a testament to his endurance in FNAF without ever really changing. The penultimate segment in particular that I'd like to note would be the 2:58-3:09 and by extension the 3:10-3:20 segments as it goes back to my first point of having a pretty subtle but still notable sense of horror and dread. Except here of course this sense of horror is totally capitalized on, as if something so horrific and dreadful is happening that even the song itself is bent and shifted by it before the climax of the battle starts with the final chorus. It's a small segment that breaks the flow of the song to really get it across that, whatever those two are brewing up to finally get rid of the other, it's so damn catastrophic that everything around them is shifted by it. Does make it come across how truly sick and deranged those two individuals are. As a final note, I would also mention the small 3:53-3:55 segment which plays as the song's ending notes. It's a small thing but I appreciate that the melody still tries to continue on even when the fight is over. It goes back to my third point about the characters' resilience in the fact that, even after one of them is dead for good, their spirit still tries to cling on to continue to survive for a few moments before being stomped away for good like the final heartbeats of a dying individual. It's a small thing and I don't even know if it's done on purpose but it's really appreciable. Overall, this is a song that I was surprised to see and had a bit of apprehension towards but was more than pleasantly surprised with, actually sounding extremely good and being very catchy as a whole while fitting both characters extremely well. Also, thinking on it, I don't know why but I feel like I wouldn't be surprised if this track got a vocal version. Altho I couldn't explain why. Either way, I'll be sure to listen to it quite a bit. Also², I can't help but notice that we've been getting quite a few "horror" songs lately. This one, The Monster Was You, Revelations of Suffering and arguably Light's Off. That's pretty funny and also quite nice as all of those songs are really good. Anyways, amazing job as always with this.
I have an idea how this can play out as Junko does have a similar system most Security guards would typically have and if can be with in Hope’s Peak where Springtrap (aka Willian Afton) breaks into and Junko spots him on one of the cameras and sends in a Monokuma to find out why a random Animatronic that isn’t a Monokuma is doing here and well from there well Afton will probably likely attack the Monokuma if not find out he is being watched so from there the fight starts
Ah yes the best Junko and Springtrap MU (yeah I said it) Junko vs Chris and Springtrap vs Chucky are good alts but the rest of their MUs range from mid to outright bad

Yeah it's one of the most popular matchups they haven't done yet. Only question is, I assume(based on what I hear) you asked for one of the FNAF fan songs as William's base? The fanbase as a whole generally considers the FNAF 3 Trailer Theme to be William's best and most canon theme.

The connections for these monsters are
• They’re the main villains of their respective series, who are the murderous mysterious masterminds who corrupt a seemingly innocent place and mainly target children (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and Hope's Peak Academy) to use as a launchpad for their schemes.
• Both would use animal costumes to do their killings without getting caught for them and escape free (Springbonnie and Monokuma)
• Both would have partners that they would do their business with (Henry and Afton were partners and created Fazbear Entertainment and Muruko and Junko worked together for Junko’s mission. But both would end up betraying them and ending their lives (William betrayed Henry to kill children including Henry’s daughter, and Henry killed himself to try and kill William himself and Junko betraying Muruko and killing her in cold blood)
• In their spin off novels, both would false identities to get away with their murders without being detected (Ryoko Otonashi and Dave Miller)
• Both would eventually get caught for their murders and killed by kids they tortured, and the kids teamed up to stop their murders and they would end up being crushed by their own creations (The dead kids’s spirits trapped William in the back room and William put on Springbonnie suit to be safe but the suit’s spring locks kicked in and crushed William inside the suit and Junko was killed because of the Ultimate Punishment and was subsequently crushed to death)
• But both would return many times and become an AI presence to haunt the characters again and never be killed (Springtrap always coming back and becoming Glitchtrap and Junko returning in her Alter Ego Junko form to get her revenge on the characters)
• Both lived posthumously through "remnants" of themselves (Junko's ideology carried by the Remnants of Despair and Remnant being the phenomenon that fused William's soul to SpringBonnie).
• Both would use a feeling of intense turmoil (Despair and Agony) that they think every should feel because of something in their past (Junko wanted everyone to feel Despair because of her pure boredom and Afton is fueled by pure Agony because of the hate in his past)
• Their disciples got obsessed with the idea of being the new them and depending on the ending of SB both stopped obsessing over it when they noticed what they could've become (Monaca and Vanny)
• A Costume wearing girl succeeded their plan (Vanny and Tsumugi) at a time where they are basically just some parts of fiction people can watch/play (Even though William was real unlike Junko his story was viewed as some legend that wasn’t real and was turned into games at the time)
• Pulled the strings on the background after their "Death" on a game (Springtrap being revealed to be the mastermind behind the Glamrocks and Junko in both DR1 and DR2)
• Caused all of their family's death including a girl that actually tried to help them because of giving legit shit about them... That ended like Shit (Elizabeth and Mukuro)
• Their mascots have a lot of different designs (Springtraps many forms in the games and AR and UDG Monokumas in general)
• Responsible for biggest tragedies in their world (Missing children incident and The Tragedy)
• Before their true self is discovered they were famous among their world for their overall massive success in their media (William designing Animatronics and most overall most popular diner places on his world/Junko faking her ultimate as being a fashionista and being very successful in fashion thanks to her real ultimate talent)

You can say the same with Danganronpa, Junko isn't who I would call a fighter yet here we are
@@ShadowRose759 yeah, Monokuma is the one who does all the executions in her place
I can see Wiz passing out from all the FNAF lore on Springtrap, much like in Madara VS Aizen.
It's not a true horror franchise unless the villain sticks around even after dying. Cold blooded killers, always hiding in the background, waiting to bring terror on the world. Don't know how this would go but it would certainly be a... unique matchup.

I’m surprised it’s taken us this long to finally get a Junko vs Springtrap track. And it just goes so hard as well, yet another banger from Brandon.
This slaps pretty hard for a FNAF track.
No matter who wins, humanity gonna lose anyway. Let's *Dance in Despair*
Listen to "Fnaf Security Breach:Music Man Track" and you'l see why it fits Fnaf
Dread it. Run from it. Despair arrives all the same.
I'm sorry, but when he said "WHERE'S YOURS?" I Immediately thought of "you keep saying I have no bitches, BUT WHERE ARE YOURS?! I DONT SEE EM!!"

Slightly disappointed it sounds like FNAF Fan Songs were used for Williams basis instead of the FNAF 3 Trailer Theme(basically his official theme), but still! Love the energy

@@socialaccount0000 This match up is really brought *a lot* by the community, and overrall, I'm surprise you've never heard of Danganronpa.
Danganronpa is videogame franchise (also has animes, mangas and novels) of the Visual Novel/Point and Click genre.
Wiz: There is nothing more frightening than those things that haunt you in the dark, and these two beings are no ordinary nightmare fuel. Especially when they’re in some creepy costumes.
Boomstick: He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick.
Wiz: And it’s our jobs to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win… a DEATH BATTLE.
3:00 I love that dark turn, and I just vibe with that electronic music very fitting for a fnaf mu
Probably junko trying to make afton go into despair only to realize afton already has despair

@@bahamutsilva The main villain of their respective series, who are murderous and mysterious masterminds who corrupt a seemingly innocent place and mainly target children (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and Hope's Peak Academy) to use as a launchpad for their schemes.
Both would use animal costumes to do their killings without getting caught for them and escape free (Springbonnie and Monokuma)
Both would have partners that they would do their business with (Henry and Afton were partners and created Fazbear Entertainment and Muruko and Junko worked together for Junko’s mission. But both would end up betraying them and ending their lives (William betrayed Henry to kill children including Henry’s daughter, and Henry killed himself to try and kill William himself and Junko betraying Muruko and killing her in cold blood)
In their spin off novels, both would false identities to get away with their murders without being detected (Ryoko Otonashi and Dave Miller)
Both would eventually get caught for their murders and killed by kids they tortured, and the kids teamed up to stop their murders and they would end up being crushed by their own creations (The dead kids’s spirits trapped William in the back room and William put on Springbonnie suit to be safe but the suit’s spring locks kicked in and crushed William inside the suit and Junko was killed because of the Ultimate Punishment and was subsequently crushed to death)
But both would return many times and become an AI presence to haunt the characters again and never be killed (Springtrap always coming back and becoming Glitchtrap and Junko returning in her Alter Ego Junko form to get her revenge on the characters)
Both lived posthumously through "remnants" of themselves (Junko's ideology carried by the Remnants of Despair and Remnant being the phenomenon that fused William's soul to SpringBonnie).
Both would use a feeling of intense turmoil (Despair and Agony) that they think every should feel because of something in their past (Junko wanted everyone to feel Despair because of her pure boredom and Afton is fueled by pure Agony because of the hate in his past)
Their disciples got obsessed with the idea of being the new them and depending on the ending of SB both stopped obsessing over it when they noticed what they could've become (Monaca and Vanny)
A Costume wearing girl succeeded their plan (Vanny and Tsumugi) at a time where they are basically just some parts of fiction people can watch/play (Even though William was real unlike Junko his story was viewed as some legend that wasn’t real and was turned into games at the time)
Pulled the strings on the background after their "Death" on a game (Springtrap being revealed to be the mastermind behind the Glamrocks and Junko in both DR1 and DR2)
Caused all of their family's death including a girl that actually tried to help them because of giving legit shit about them... That ended like Shit (Elizabeth and Mukuro)
Their mascots have a lot of different designs (Springtraps many forms in the games and AR and UDG Monokumas in general)
Responsible for biggest tragedies in their world (Missing children incident and The Tragedy)
Before their true self is discovered they were famous among their world for their overall massive success in their media (William designing Animatronics and most overall most popular diner places on his world/Junko faking her ultimate as being a fashionista and being very successful in fashion thanks to her real ultimate)

Predictions: Junko will use her SDR2 Theme and William will use the FNAF 3 Trailer Theme. Those are pretty much universally considered their best
HOLY SHIT IT REAL!!! THE JUNKTRAP BRANDON TRACK REAL!!!
I'd be down for this episode. The analysis would be interesting, seeing Wiz and Boomstick go over the lore of both series, and the fight...Depending on what they'd use for FNAF scaling, there are a lot of directions it can go in.
They would probably take more from the novels, only taking from the games if it ties into the novel feats
@@MrVideo540 I can also imagine them showing scans from the comic adaptations during William's rundown, so they have something to show that isn't just gameplay. Also, can you imagine them bringing up FNAF world?
@@MrVideo540 Id argue the oposite as the only series they did that route for was Star Wars and because if its better continuity
Tho if they run the novel route they are probs scaling Junko to Tsmugi and arguing 2-A in which even Fnaf world aint touching
@@fate8718 I mean, both series are kind of barebones when it comes to actual combat feats. That is all I am saying
@@MrVideo540 Kinda but you can get enough from the mainline games(and anime in Junko's case) to get a feel for scaling.
So in this case Wall level Springtrap vs maybe City Block+ Junko?(idk where they will scale her given the Monokuma shiz)
And the reason I argue this is because they have to show proof and showing a novel scan aint entertaining to the general populus.
Few characters share a thing for robotic bears and killing children like these two
Sounds WAY too fast and hype for a FNAF track. Thats a good thing. Nice job Brandon.
Took me while to those are Monokuma bots in the shadows, but damn this is epic
I have no idea how a fight between these two would even work, but it's still a neat match up.

@@3kojimbles895 that and the books give him and Glitchtrap some crazy stuff that junko can't deal with.

@@omegaaklx303 I know of one danganronpa spinoff game udg but not another one
@@raziel2499 Dismantling the suit just
Frees the spirit which actually is a proven method given FNAF3.
So his remnant would probably just possess a monokuma(Along with him then remarking that he always comes back.)
And that's not even going over Glitchtrap which....

It's surprisingly high intensity and high energy and truly feels like an actual battle (given, I still have no idea how it'd actually go down given that FNAF lore is an utter mess and my knowledge of the animatronics stops at "funny child/murder-possesed robot".)
Another thing about this that's interesting is that even with all that energy and intensity, the song still has a lot of tension and "horror" to it.
So another way of seeing it would be just the two sides of each characters "fighting" against one another as each character shows one side of themselves or the other throughout the fight.)
But that's not it for the chorus.
Anyways, amazing job as always with this.
man did brandon make these two sound way better than they should
2:25 FNAF 3 GOOD ENDING MOTIF!
Im glad that every time you came with a horror theme track feels just sooo good
I have an idea how this can play out as Junko does have a similar system most Security guards would typically have and if can be with in Hope’s Peak where Springtrap (aka Willian Afton) breaks into and Junko spots him on one of the cameras and sends in a Monokuma to find out why a random Animatronic that isn’t a Monokuma is doing here and well from there well Afton will probably likely attack the Monokuma if not find out he is being watched so from there the fight starts
Either that or Springtrap doesn't know he's being watched until Junko announces herself to him.
@@Annihilate0405 that would be a big mistake for Junko honestly also what am I kidding both of these two never stay dead
"You will not be spared. You will know despair."
Ah yes the best Junko and Springtrap MU (yeah I said it) Junko vs Chris and Springtrap vs Chucky are good alts but the rest of their MUs range from mid to outright bad
Joker is also a good alternative for Junko and Freddy Krueger could also be a good opponent for William
@@enriquekaiser4309 Joker is alright but Freddy is actually so bad, like either you can give him his dream world powers in which case Afton is f**ked or you cannot give him his dream world powers in which case you are robbing him of what he is known for and then it would be a bit of a let down so with Freddy it’s a lose-lose situation and besides there is almost no animation potential in that fight
@@dlm292 I strongly disagree with that, it's a very tight fight Freddy, it's the only match I've seen that William really has a chance of losing, as he wins the vast majority of his matches, including Junko
@@enriquekaiser4309 just because a character can lose doesn’t make the fight inherently good there has to be more than just it being close

Boomstick: Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Despair.
Wiz: There will always be some people who just want to see others suffer, some who just want to watch the world burn just to see hope die out.
Boomstick: And what better victim to relish in that despair than children? That's what these two always go after! He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Remember everyone, Gregory is not a Fnaf character. He is a dangonronpa character
"Gregory... Did the beat go off?"
Not sure of who wins, but I
Always wanted 2 see how would horror game characters would work in Death Battle, specially the ones from FNAF, how would the animation go and what how would Wiz and Broomstick react to the FNAF lore
Also if learn to animate Sprite good enough, take for sure I would use this for William Afton vs Walter White (Don't Ask)
I'm not really one for horror games but damn this slaps
Catchy
This sounds more like a chase or a race theme rather than a battle theme.
Also a interaction is like after a solid beatdown with glitchtrap vs AI enoshima he's like "a lamb to the slaughter, just like the rest"
And enoshima fires back with "I'm not the others...I'm junko FUCKIN enoshima!" And that starts the finale of the battle leading to whoever wins, winning.
Wiz: William Afton: The purple guy from FNAF who always comes back.
Boomstick: And Junko Enoshima: The Ultimate Crazy B@tch from Danganronpa.
Wiz: Despair can sometimes cause people to do crazy things, one of the prime examples being murder. And these 2 clearly follow the example to a T. Whether its a pizzeria with a creepy animatronic bear.
Boomstick: To a prestige high school full of gifted people... Who also has a creepy animatronic bear, these 2 go way WAY too far when it comes to causing scares, punishment & of course murder. He's Wiz & im Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor & skills to find out who will win a Death Battle.

Playtime In The Backrooms (Huggy Wuggy vs Bacteria) [Poppy Playtime vs The Backrooms]
0.75 speed for the theme to fit the dread radiating from both this fighter and then speed it up when you think it start getting serious mid way through the song.
I like this. It shows how were in the Fnaf 2 Office. 4 Monokuma's are standing in the hallway but all of there eyes are like dedicated to William/Springtrap's eyes in Fnaf 3 or others. and If I would say the winner I would say..........Junko FTW. Unless if William does something so sneaky than he wins.
