For the TV over the Dinette, I'd Change that to my Security Monitor, for when I'm in the Overhead Bunk, and cooking, and put the Cupboard Wall. And another Security Monitor Opposite, so that whilst I am watching a movie, I can Still Monitor my Surroundings.

It looks great, the only thing I'm not a fan of is the tilt down hood, while that it great for servicing the engine and replacing parts, the idea that you need to take apart the bull bar and disconnect the lights to do something as simple as checking the fluids and adding washer fluid seems like a ton of work to do in order to ensure your engine is ok on long trips.

Four bolts and you get both top AND side access to the engine, compared to the tilt-up hood. I wouldn't say it's a lot of work. Definitely a lot less work than a Ford, for sure. The Duramax is an absolute BEAST.

I will be getting one of these for my 30th birthday and travel the world I’ve looked at 100s of go anywhere motor home earthromers are in my opinion the best looking and just as capable and truck or hgv so yeah there expensive but most people don’t understand is a full loaded like a house but can go anywhere it’s a no brainier for me , I do like the blue I think I will get a blue and grey combo .

It's much more difficult and limiting to dump a black tank as opposed to dumping a grey tank. They don't install one because if you buy one of these the whole point is to be far away from RV campgrounds with the type of facilities where you can dump a black tank. I'd add a generator to the solar system as a backup and have an incinerating toilet installed.

I had made plans on what to have inside and LTI before and have extensive list of if. Now I see and even better version ofnthe LTI which is the SX and this is just Lovely. So much of a dream vehicle that you make a lot of plans, routes and adventuring locations specially Alaska and Canada. A very far fetched dream but a dream nonetheless to own one.

I believe that yes it does charge the onboard batteries anytime the panels are exposed to sunlight

Question, not a criticism. At the cost of this thing what is the advantage of buying this over something built on a medium duty cab over chassis. We don't see these in Iceland or in Norway. It's always stuff like retired MB or Scania
Thanks for the question. Technically in the US, this is considered a medium duty class 6 truck. In reference to your question some of the advantages of driving a medium duty versus light duty truck are: they can tow more (so if you want to tow an SUV behind you ), their engines are more powerful, and they can carry more weight overall. You have to remove part of the front bumper to get into the engine compartment????
General Motors and Chevrolet designed the foot on this vehicle to pivot forward instead of opening up like a standard hood, so yes the engineered the front bumper to be able to move to allow you to swing the hood forward. Thanks for watching.

What’s the gas capacity and the mileage?
Thanks for the question. It holds 100 gallons of fuel, and Chevy rates the 6.6L duramax diesel at 19 mpg, but as configured, you would want to check with Earth Roamer. I know it did very well on the drive down to SEMA. Thanks for watching!

Chevy are the Cheapest Full Size Trucks... Great Transmissions but compared to the others that’s pretty much it.... For it being a Go anywhere type of Truck I rather have the Ford or Dodge... Chevy is WalMart and GMC is Target... hope this Chevy ER is a lot cheaper the Orginals
They still offer the EarthRoamer LTi on the Ford Chassis although Im sure many Chevy/GMC Folks will disagree with your statement

To go off grid and be able to go through real bad terrain or Mother Nature disasters etc... you can’t compare to Ford Chassis, there built solid and very durable... Your definitely going to have to rely on that especially carrying all that excess weight... Chevy has the Best Transmissions...
How much water does it take to run the washer/dryer?

From the EarthRoamer website: " The base price of SX is $995,000." The BASE price. Ridiculous! NO overhead camper is worth that. I can buy a couple homes in great areas of Arizona for that price and have funds left over for a new 4runner! And the website further insults our intelligence by saying it is "an investment". In 10 years you will not even get 40% back. Did you get that?! Over $600,000.00 for 10 years @ 10MPG gas prices. 60k per year would be insane budget for vacations. Folks, please keep you hard earned money, invest in real estate, get a home, invest in your kids futures: do not give your money to strangers telling you how to be happy.
It's all subjective, one man's dreams is another man's nightmare! Obviously they are selling them or they wouldn't be building them!👍

Sommars is exactly correct. I once toured an RV in a big sales event with multiple vendors. I found the MOST expensive rig >$1MM and inside just happened to be the sales manager doing paperwork. I explained that as a long time financial advisor I encourage my clients to not waste their wealth on these things. He looked up, smiled...and said.."Yea can you BELIEVE that people actually buy these things"? If you do a financial analysis of the true costs (including all sunk costs and the return on the funds NOT invested in an alternate investment); assuming a use of 30 days per year, over ten years your "per day" cost will probably run ~ $3,000 per day at a minimum and probably over $50. per mile to drive it. For that kind of money, you could get into the back country by helicopter, to an already waiting safari glamping set up....just about anywhere in the world.
Of course if you have all your financial obligations handed AND can afford to see your net worth spent down on a luxury camper then that's certainly your right.

This is built for just about anyone (lol), If you have $1,000,000.00. What a great depreciation of assets item. I could do so much more with a million dollars, + Insurance, + fuel, + your time and hassle over the roads-highways. Since most Earth People & Off-Roaders do trips and not live in their vehicles, why not rent the very best of all your wants when you want to go and save 100's of thousands of dollars. For $1 million dollars anyone could fly to their destination of choice and do whatever they want for 20 years, in my opinion in 20 years this would be a pile of.......
Then I’d suggest you not buy one, as I’m sure there are many folks standing in line behind you that actually have the money to buy it and spend their money as they please
