OMG. I have the exact same island but I built it using the bigger shelf. I love how yours comes apart and can be used separately. I'm starting to think I wanna demolish mine and build it again but like yours. 😂 I found your channel just now and I'm already in love. I wish you the best. I just subscribed. Hope you grow fast. Love DIY channels.
Wow what are the odds?! Love that! Thank you so much for your kind words!! It really motivates me to do more! ✨ P.S. I feel bad - do not break down your island 😅
Your perseverance paid off sis it looks beautiful! I’m here looking for inspiration as I have painted a cube unit white and am planning to add feet to elevate it but I’m in love with how you did the top👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Minimalism and style are at play with your slay👍🏾🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
I love this! This would make an excellent crafting or sewing table. Please tell me the finished measurements, particularly the height. Thank you so much!
It holds great, most of the work is done by the wheel stoppers to be honest, the magnets are there to keep it aligned and once heavy items are placed on the island it's even more stable
This would be a great breakfast bar for a1 room studio or a dorm. Put 2 or 3 bar stools n front of cart and you have a dining and breakfast table. Just park barcart n front of kitchen counter with sink and stove, to b able to walk between barcart and sink so you can turn around and chop up food and place food from stove and sink on to table while people on the other side, sitting on bar stools will be seeing the kitchen and you using refrigerator, stove and sink as you r washing food off and preparing meals and turning around to serve them sitting on the other side of the breakfast bar you made.
@@Craftydust well yeah you know it because it's a great room divider from a kitchen eating area divided from the sitting room or living room what a talent you have👩🔧
A place to store chairs or to make room to sit there with chairs? I'm thinking of making this... I came here specifically for ideas. Was originally going to transform an old desk but I NEED more storage so THIS was perfect!
Wonderful to watch your energy while you work. But please, when you have that utility knife/razor blade out, _always_ cut away from you! You were running that sharp thing right towards you and I got a little nervous for you. Meanwhile, subscribed!

6:56 PROTIP: When gluing pieces together, you can add some salt in between to prevent them sliding.
This is fabulous.. thank you so much. Definately going to do this. ❤️
So happy you enjoyed it 🥰✨

I've heard this from so many people!!! Didn't even think about it (clearly I don't sew 😂). Height is 90.5cm, length 1.78cm, width 63.5 ✨

Great job! Love the magnet idea. Does it hold pretty well using them though..

That sounds like a great idea for a studio space!! Definitely a space saving idea!

love love love it!! So talented!! I'll be the first guest when you actually throw that party
You'll be the first guest even before I throw a party 😂
Very nice. A chair space in the middle would have been an alternative option. Space permitting.
We're planning on buying stools at some point in the future - this way we can use it as a breakfast nook ✨

Where did you get the wine holder rack??! Is it handmade?? Thanks 😙
It's from IKEA, I just cut the legs a bit so that it perfectly fits 😁✨
@@Craftydust I found it just after leave you the comment! Thank you anyways! 🌹
Where did you find that track for your jigsaw?
We made it using an aluminum trim and two pieces of wood
@@Craftydust ah haaa ok I will find parts and try to copy it! Thanks!
What type of hook did you suggest instead of the magnet
A door latch hook
Love it
Thank you so much 🥰✨
Where did you get the topper from?

Yes please be careful .
How to attach the wheels?!😩
You can get wheels that have their own base and it will just sit on them or you could just drill holes and fit your wheels
150,00 + 29,90 + 29,90 EUR it’s not a total of 170 EUR, BUT amazing amazing idea!
Really love your videos! ♥️👏🏻👏🏻
Haha of course, but as I mentioned in the intro, I found the countertop at the discount section for 50% off, so it only cost me around 75-80€ 😊
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
real content is between 4:00 to 9:30, the rest is just a long intro and long outro.
perfect woman.
my worry is whats the max load of this as kallax was never designed for this.
I've been using it for 2 years and haven't had any issues at all :)
for all that work, why didn't you just stain a good wood top?
Where's the part about separating them? It's in the thumbnail.
