Ευχαριστω για το βιντεακι με βοηθησε αρκετα!Δυο ερωτησεις εχω, βλεπω πολλα βιντεο στο youtube που αναφερονται σε stain, αντιστοιχα στα Ελληνικα αυτο ειναι το βερνικι η το χρωμα/βαφη?Εχω μπερδευτει..Γιατι μετα το "stain" περνανε κ βερνικι για προστασια.Εγω μονο βερνικια βλεπω στην αγορα. Και το δευτερο πριν περασουν stain προτινουν ενα pre -stain για να εφαρμοσει καλυτερα.Αυτο αν εχεις ιδεα πως το βρισκω.Δεν εχω βρει ελληνικο προιον τετοιο. Σ ευχαριστω πολυ.

I've only just now found this video, and it looks great, but I would have suggested instead of burlap, to use a layer or two of aluminum window screen material painted black, to make it look even more industrial...

Your sander had a place to add a hose for dust collection system; a cheap shop vac works wonders. After sanding, I'd use a vacuum with soft brush attachment to clean off the surfaces if necessary, and then some tac cloth to pick up any remaining dust. No water needed and WAY less dust in your environment.

Hi Daphne! Thank you so much for your videos! I have an Ingo table and that’s how I found you! This thing is not treated and so stained, but still in good shape. I use it as the table for my condo. That’s the size of a shoe it doubles as a kitchen and work table. I don’t know if there is an answer to this, but I would love to do what you just did, but keep that light color on the top of the table - how would I do that and also protect the table? I’m less than a beginner, I don’t know what I’m doing, and I feel like stains, always make it darker - do you have any tips for me? Thanks so much.❤

Youre the only TH-camr Ive found who isnt using the Ikea door inserts for hinges. I needed to know that a flat hinge would work 👍🏾

my worry is whats the max load of this as kallax was never designed for this.

stop with the hand in the camera it’s overdone makes the video unpleasant.

Can't get passed all the wood filler you put on those joins, you were better off having those wood peaces for the door cut again to the right size.

I think the legs should be installed from the outside. That's why there's a gap there. I have the same table BTW

So beautiful! Do you think your measurements would be different if you did 4 doors? I am wanting to cover mine with 4 doors and wasnt sure how to measure that up for the pieces of wood!

A very nice make-over. Well done!The original owner must have put the legs on back to front, and I'm glad you now realise the error. (I must admit to an "arrh, oh no!" moment when you also put the legs back on incorrectly. Not only makes the table look like a not very good homemade effort but puts a lot of strain on the legs and brackets.) When put in the correct way, the legs are reinforced from movement by the ends of the understrip panels while at the same time hiding those panel ends, making it look like a proper piece of joinery. I look forward to your future projects.

Beautiful! It’s so much easier to put the primer on when the Kallax isn’t assembled. It’s even worth it to disassemble it most of the time! Great job though!

Sometimes it’s easier to to paint your wood strips before you attach them. Then all you have to do is a little touch up. Looks great!
