@fourby4diesel, loved the video! I am in the USA and noticed tonight that my 2010 4Runner Trail Edition had a bit of a leak developing on the transfer case. I have the leak that you mentioned towards the front of the tcase where it joins together. Did you ever do your second video of removing the Tcase and replacing those seals you mentioned?
Looks like its coming from way up top, and painting its way down. Perhaps the vent is up there is stuck open, or possibly over filled a wee bit? I have a 86 Toyota 4x4 pickup (in the U.S.A.) and my rear differential was leaking gear oil out the axle seals all over the brakes (35 year old vehicle), but would only leak in the hot weather. It ended up being the breather with the spring loaded rubber biscuit inside. It was sealed shut with crud and goo, and when it would get warm, it wouldn't "exhale", but instead, would build pressure inside the rear axle housing, and force differential /gear oil past the axle seals. I cleared the plugged vent, but till need to do the rear brakes and seals. Too cold right now. Spring time project. Thank you for your common sense content.

Hilux 2015 .. just found it on one some bugger cut a piece foam out and put it up there to soak up the leak..😮 nightmare ...

Did u ended up putting up a video of u pulling it apart and fixing it coz mine got an oil leak and was wanting to see how to do this
