It's described as being a re-imagining of classic men's fragrances, and I believe that's definitely accurate. Le Mâle Elixir, as much as I like it, kinda smells like someone said, "Hey, Paco Rabanne has been INSANELY successful and their fragrances mostly smell really, really sweet. Let's try that!" Because I smell it and my first thought is, "That smells like something Paco Rabanne would do". Which, as nice as it is, that sweetness really kills its versatility
Completely depends on what you are looking for. When it comes to versatility le male elixir does just fine. You can use fragrances wherever you want. I’ve gotten complemente at college, clubs, and my part time job.

I liked it at first, but ended up loving it on my skin whereas Sauvage Elixir, I personally still like Gisada Ambassador Intense a bit more and it’s way cheaper. I find myself wearing Le Male Elixir way more, but that’s just me. I have a buddy who the Sauvage Elixir dna smells stunning on. I just don’t care for it on my skin as much and prefer the Abassador Intense more. Both fantastic tho. Clearly high end stuff, the two. I’d like to see Le Malle Elixir compared with the Boss Elixir, 1 Million Elixir and Polo Elixir. Out of those I only have the 1 Million and Le Male Elixir, but would be interested and curious to see what most think.
For me it's JPG Elixir > Gisada Intense > 1 Million Elixir / Boss Elixir > Dior Elixir. It's just that Dior is so strong that it keeps going and going and becomes too boring for my taste. Plus I got all of them for half the price of Dior.

Sauvage elixir stinks for me like a homeless dudes armpits. It’s not even in the same league as jpg elixir. My #1 is one million parfum tho. It eclipses elixir with how it projects. Smell them side by side and you won’t be able to smell jpg elixir.
I just sold my Le Male Elixir and Victory Elixir due to redundancy of synthetics lol. I kept my sausage Elixir , and 1 million elixir. If you have 1 million elixir ,it doesn’t make sense to have Victory Elixir or Le Male Elixir.

The performance on sauvage is just in another category. It's projection/sillage is seriously a 14 out 10. With that said, Sauvage is just more memorable in my opinion.

Dior Sauvage Elixir is a modern day masterpiece. Old school vibe with a modern day twist. Contemporary yet nostalgic at the same time. Familiar, yet completely original in its blend and quality. The true "Elixir" trendsetter.

From personal experience, I would pick up the sauvage elixir. Definitely pricier sure, but I think the guy in the video didn't do justice to its projection and longevity compared to le male. Should be a 10 to a 7 or 8. Le male is way more sweet as well, which is preferential but sauvage is a bit sweet but not too much. Getting both probably not, as they are expensive but maybe in a year or two if you get tired of your current elixir. I would say pick up a summer fragrance though even though minnesota is cold asf. Summer time and travelling anywhere else pretty much is go to for it, but that's just me.

I can see people preferring jpg but i wouldn't get it if you own any of the before mentioned. Just buy it when you're bottle is finished. You're compliments won't dramatically increase.

Yo so I watched this video this morning as I been trying to decide what to get next , been leaning towards the jpg , already have the Dior, and my wife (almost) dropped her pantries right there in the mall when she first smelled the jpgE , but of course I told her keep ‘em on, we’ll be in the truck soon. ,.. anyway back to reality, I knew what the jpg is capable of before I bought it , and the only thing I can’t figure out is why you are comparing Apples to potatoes, not really a fair fight. They are Both AMAZING , but definitely in their own lane & heading in completely different directions and then they both take left about a mile or even two up the road and the head in the other opposite direction , ! They BOTH deserve a Medal of Honor, all the elixir I’ve tried so far they ALL bangers, haven’t tried yet the polo Rc elixir . Oh but I will soon enough.
While both are elixers both are very different. JPG elixer is a soft, warm tobacco and honey that is sensual to the nose, it practically makes love to your senses and warms them, Dior elixer is a commanding presence, it demands your attention but it doesn't force it, cause it knows it will have it, very mature, very citrus and lasts for days even through a wash. You can't go wrong with either what so ever, i do perfer Dior for my main hitter but for a sensual night i like JPG
I personally would choose Le Male Elixer. I enjoy a few different Vanilla type fragrances. I have sampled Sauvage Elixir and I prefer the Vanilla type fragrances over Sauvage Elixir. I wouldn’t actually purchase either one though because I already have Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir and a few other Vanilla Fragrances.
Both great fragrances and definitely different enough to have both Ralph’s club elixir and boss bottled elixir are also great. I’m not sure if it’s still going on but I got a 3 piece le make elixir set for $125 comes with a 100ml bottle a travel spray and a bottle of body wash
I can't stand Dior Elixir I like all the other Sauvage's Elixir licorice 80's vibe I still have it just won't wear it. I like all the Jean Paul Gaultier La male line. Loki I think Dior Homme line is better than the Sauvage line. Less versatile but more classy.
I love Layton was excited to try the exclusif version. Got a 2ml sample and could not even stomach it. Tried to give it away and couldn't cause it was disliked across the board by everyone who smelled it.

I havent smelled jpg elixir but i always thought Dior elixir was thr best elixir on the market and im a women. Im mad bc they dont make women elixirs that strong. Now before 2001 all edps on the market were beast modes. Jpg classique was one of them. Jpg was strong and long lasting pre 2001

Stick with the Parfum. The Elixir is sweeter. The Parfum is the better fragrance IMO. If you like sweet you will love it though.

They BOTH deserve a Medal of Honor, all the elixir I’ve tried so far they ALL bangers, haven’t tried yet the polo Rc elixir . Oh but I will soon enough.
I'd rather smell like Le Male Elixir 10 out of 10 times. Sauvage Elixir smells like something my dad wore in the 90s.
Sauvage elixir is so boring
The Sauvage is Nuclear powered. It is better value as it will last much longer.
While both are elixers both are very different. JPG elixer is a soft, warm tobacco and honey that is sensual to the nose, it practically makes love to your senses and warms them, Dior elixer is a commanding presence, it demands your attention but it doesn't force it, cause it knows it will have it, very mature, very citrus and lasts for days even through a wash. You can't go wrong with either what so ever, i do perfer Dior for my main hitter but for a sensual night i like JPG
I personally would choose Le Male Elixer. I enjoy a few different Vanilla type fragrances. I have sampled Sauvage Elixir and I prefer the Vanilla type fragrances over Sauvage Elixir. I wouldn’t actually purchase either one though because I already have Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir and a few other Vanilla Fragrances.

Both great fragrances and definitely different enough to have both Ralph’s club elixir and boss bottled elixir are also great. I’m not sure if it’s still going on but I got a 3 piece le make elixir set for $125 comes with a 100ml bottle a travel spray and a bottle of body wash
I got the 125ml set with travel spray and body wash for 145
Le male Elixir is way better in my opinion. I like Dior but it’s too in your face and way overpriced.
I can't stand Dior Elixir I like all the other Sauvage's Elixir licorice 80's vibe I still have it just won't wear it. I like all the Jean Paul Gaultier La male line. Loki I think Dior Homme line is better than the Sauvage line. Less versatile but more classy.

Could chose between PDM Layton Exclusif and JPG Elixir, both on sale, I went for Layton which is a beautiful superior fragrance 👌

I love Layton was excited to try the exclusif version. Got a 2ml sample and could not even stomach it. Tried to give it away and couldn't cause it was disliked across the board by everyone who smelled it.

I havent smelled jpg elixir but i always thought Dior elixir was thr best elixir on the market and im a women. Im mad bc they dont make women elixirs that strong. Now before 2001 all edps on the market were beast modes. Jpg classique was one of them. Jpg was strong and long lasting pre 2001
