how to do 3D glasses effect on procreate

I saw this 3D-Glasses aka anaglyph art effect trend going around on art Tik Tok a couple weeks ago, and I tried making one of my own! I got a couple questions about how to do it, so here's a slightly in-depth video about it in case anyone else wants to give it a try :)

Why don’t you just set opacity at half for both layers, merge, then duplicate? That way the opacity is at 100% and the purple is there for you?

Yes of course! So what you do is:
1. create a new layer on top of the "red" layer and "blue" layer
2. set your brush color to purple
3. on the new layer you created, draw on top of the lines where the red and blue colors overlap
