It's important to inform people who have not been Informed. That's more than half the battle right there. Our enemies are pushing the US towards a civil war and an economic crisis. Of course I watched 13 hours 90382490238490328094 times and still love it, like the rest of you guys who posted here. If I could pick my own neighbours, "Tanto" would be on that list. I loved how calm, collected and cool his character was portrayed, and now listening to the real Tanto speak, I respect and love him even more. What you and your boys did, took more stones than any civilian could ever dream off having. Deepest respect from here and thank you for your bravery and without knowing you personal, a good and kind man.
Best one yet Ryan. Great job. The more I watch your videos, the more I realize the great learning points through all of your interviewees are about perseverance, self awareness, maturity, and living and learning from the experience. Thanks!
I and my wife went to see the movie. I was choked up a little here and there. My wife and I got married 6 months before I retired so she hadn't endured a deployment and didn't understand some of the lingo or tactics that were brought to light via Hollywood. I have a great memory of that movie night with her. I was selected to go through a GRS class only for it to be cut short by my first bout with covid. I'll never get that opportunity back. Tanto was a little of the driving force behind my decision to go that route coupled with guys I'd met downrange many years ago. Awesome awesome guys!
I remember Tanto doing a commercial for sunglasses and always wondered what a little of his history was. This video more than covers any questions that I had. But I'd like to thank you both for your service. God bless you both and yours.
Outstanding! You need to do about 3 interviews per week to keep me satisfied!😎. My son is in 5th Group and he said all of our special operations people integrate very well into complex missions because we have been at war for so long. He said GRS brings a special ability to the party and is highly valuable to the mission.
My first time as a listener, great interview, very informative! I’ve been intrigued by the Benghazi story depicted in 13 Hours, which I’ve now seen 3 times, and the members of the GRS Team that were present there and this was a bonus to my research. Thanks to you and Kris!
So glad I found this pod cast! Props to this channel and how you interview people. Love Tanto wish we could’ve heard more! Thanks for everything y’all have done for this country and what your doing now
This is hands down my favorite episode. I am just lucky that these kind of interviews exist and its here, gives me a whole new different perspective from people who actually went through tremendous amount of pressure and stress. Loved Tanto’s chill but bada*ss personality, Loved 13 Hours (still hoping to find the actual book), and Loved this podcast. Thank you for this.🤙🏼

Really excited to hear this one, thanks for putting out great content & educating all your subscribers on U.S Military History!
I like the fact that you can see each veteran's personality that you don't get to see on other interviews. I think what you are doing is memorializing the veterans of our generation. As well as your other colleagues on this platform. Thank you for this.
Great interview. Kris obviously took the job seriously, because he is here to talk about it, but he doesn't take himself too seriously which is good to see.
Thank God for our nation that we have real men like Kris and Ryan working for and risking their lives for us. A very humble thank you for your service from one grateful American.
Risking their lives for us? You mean risking their lives for corporations and the interests of the ruling elite. What did Benghazi or any war in the last 50 years do for the common citizen, besides being death, injuries, psychological trauma, and a loss of trillions of tax payer dollars?
@@incognitoburrito6006 at the very end, he reads a couple of good comments from the past week. He read mine twice now because it was apt. This time as the MOH guest was ill and in the next video too. Sadly. As the man died aged 98.

Great interview! I put a comment on an interview with one of the Afghanistan disaster soldier casualty mom's, suggesting she might consider contacting one of you heroes from Benghazi for whatever help to her it may generate. Don't know if she read it and any of those 13 families contacted any of you, so as such a contact may, likewise, be helpful to you heroes as well in some way "with that additional context that showed up later", I am putting in this comment to you among your surviving group in the hopes you see it and consider it. Surely whatever comfort might come from your group those families would be so appreciated by them. Most of that 13 were only in their 20's which pretty much means they hadn't had the experience to build up to at some time confront something like they were thrown into in Afghanistan. I pray that Tanto may see this comment and consider it.
Of course he would say the Benghazi group was the best he worked with…. That was as historical of a gun fight and battle as Gettysburg….. the intensity was the same even though it was not the same amount of troops…. And to have anyone survive that is epic… everyone’s strength’s and weaknesses are measured and tested and if the outcome was different , there would be nobody to tell his side of the story as accurate and himself….. true fact
