    The difference:
    Repetition is you starting a new game every day
    Iteration is you loading a previously saved game

      This is a very good distinction that you have given. I see a lot of people getting confused with the meanings of repetition and iteration used in the video. Thanks for sharing.

    Alex Hormozi has a really cool quote on this: I want you to do a 100 reps but I don't want you to do the same rep 100 times. I want you to get better with every rep.

    I highly recommend everybody reads James Dyson's autobiography -epitome of iterations.

    education/learning + skills/application=iteration/practice. what we call Training in the Military...the act of consistant practice to level up to proficiency..then teach to learn-Instruct-then Evaluate (observe/correct the Instructors training the line flyers etc...scale your learing and training to get to SME subject matter expertise

    Iterations = repetition + small adjustments?

    • @Harpreet06
      @Harpreet06 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah thats where its a bit confusing because he didn't say how an iteration is different to just repetition. In his example, how can I shop owner iterate?

    • @Gigusx
      @Gigusx 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Harpreet06 Are you the shop owner? One thing you could iterate in are your marketing campaigns, e.g. promotions (deals) or the whatever you post on social medias, each time learning and improving on the last thing.

    • @Harpreet06
      @Harpreet06 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Gigusx I'm not a shop owner myself no. I'm referring to the example Naval gave about repetition, he didn't use that same example again for iterations, which is why a lot of the comments are confused. His exact example was stacking the shelves, I guess iteration would be trying different methods of stacking the shelves??

    • @Gigusx
      @Gigusx 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Harpreet06 Oh, sorry! And yeah, iterations would be trying different methods. The difference between them and repetition is that all iterations aim to solve the same problem, so you're revising your methods and improvising. So you need a goal, in case of stacking the shelves it could be that the shelf has to be aesthetically pleasing, so you try different placement combinations and keep figuring out what looks best.

      @@Gigusx i see it this way :
      Everyday your trying to see wich shelf layout has The most sells... everyday you put up your products , se what are the Sales number, and act acording to The data...fine tune every aspect of it, until you find The best layout

      @praneshepicmindsets 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Iteration is a small variation to the prior step. Do something new; learn from mistakes; make it better; Repeat again; learn and the process goes likes this.
