  • This is a follow-up to the first video in this series, Heal Gums Naturally with Probiotics (Part 1). These two videos give details on how I healed a gum problem of my own using probiotic capsules. To understand what I'm referring to in this video, you should watch the first video at • Heal Gums Naturally wi... .
    Just so you know...The music in the background is my husband doing his morning warmup scales on his flute. (He's a professional musician.) Hey...this is life in my house :) If you're interested, you can hear more of what he does on his TH-cam channel, Dr. David Klee, flutist at / drdavidandjudiklee . I guess we got a "two for one" deal on this video!

    Thank you so very much.
    My molar-gum was badly inflamed. So Painful! No Dentist to be seen.
    Due to the 'Virus'. Bad time to get a toothache. This worked AMAZING. I just made a paste and pasted the area...the Oil Pulling and Peroxide stopped working. It was that bad.
    So grateful to find you! I'm sharing this...my swollen gland is on the way down too. No Pain. Yeah! Totally healed. Any start of a cavity or pain....I'll be on this!

      @@lisagardner4814 Hi Lisa! I don't have a specific brand of probiotics to recommend. Whenever shopping for them, I just looked for a brand/bottle that had a variety of different types of bacteria in it, not just one or two strains. Since they can be expensive, I always let price be my guide (once I found ones with different strains within it). Hence, no particular brand. Try backing off on your aggressive brushing as that can do more harm (to the gums) than good. Using something like a WaterPik machine will help to clean your teeth without harming your gums, as long as the pressure setting isn't so great that it bothers your mouth. (For instance, I use a WaterPik and found that I'm best off with a setting around 3 or 4. Any greater than that will bothers my gums. However, other people can crank them up to 10 without issues. It's a very individualized thing.) I hope this helps! Best wishes to you :) Thanks for watching and asking :)

      @JudiintheKitchen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lisagardner4814 Hi again! I tried oil pulling for a while and didn't see any benefit. I no longer suggest doing that because I've read that it can actually trap harmful bacteria in the mouth, rather than pulling them out.
      Regarding dry, flaky skin, you may benefit from a few things... (1) Drink more water, lemon water, and/or straight cucumber juice (if you have a juicer). The extra hydration should help with dry skin. (2) Cut the fatty foods, especially fried foods. This should help your liver in cleansing as it needs to. A clogged liver can manifest in skin issues. (3) Try eating more colorful fruits and vegetables. I'm talking about beta-carotene-rich foods, like carrots, winter squash (esp. butternut), sweet potatoes, dark green and leafy vegetables (like kale, collards, turnip greens, spinach, broccoli), and colorful fruits like peaches, plums, grapes, nectarines, and berries. The vitamin A (from the beta-carotene) is always helpful for skin issues and the eyes too. Remember not to load the veggies up with a lot of butter, margarine, or oils, for the most healthful benefits. I hope this helps! Best wishes to you :)

      Hi Mabel! Thank you for watching and commenting! I wish I had an answer for receding gums, but right now, I don't know of anything that I feel confident that will absolutely work. I REALLY wish that I did. The best thing I can offer at the moment is Vitamin C. One of the signs of Vitamin C deficiency is bleeding, inflammed gums. Vitamin C is used in collagen repair and maintenance, so if think you might be deficient in that nutrient, it's absolutely worth a try. Even if it doesn't work, there would be no harm done. Hi Tee Tee! Personally, I don't think oil pulling is the way to go. From what I understand, the oil coats everything, basically locking bacteria into place, only to do more harm. Regarding the mercury fillings...I'm not sure how the oil would affect them. I doubt it would keep them from leaching more heavy metals out into the body. If it would, that would be great! @@roorooadventures4771 Hi RooRoo, When I used the probiotics, it was for relatively mild gum inflammation, and it fixed the problem. I never claimed it would address very serious gum disease. It MAY, but I certainly can't guarantee it. At the time, I did nothing else. I just swished it around in my mouth and swallowed it, like I discussed in the video. I have since then purchased a WaterPik machine and I use it twice daily instead of string flossing at those times. Such devices are excellent at keeping down plaque and gum inflammation. However, even those machines cannot be considered to be a cure-all for everything that can go wrong in the mouth. You might talk with your dentist about if a WaterPik (or similar machine) would help your situation. Maybe a WaterPik combined with the probiotics would help, but again, I am only guessing. You really should work this out with your dentist about an alternative to more aggressive dental treatments. Tell your dentist that you cannot afford aggressive treatments and need help finding something alternative that is more reasonable (financially). I wish I could help more, but I am not a doctor, nor do I pretend to be. I can only relate what has worked well for me. I hope this helps! Best wishes to you :)

      ive heard receding gums are because of the degeneration of the bone the gums are on, a type of osteoporosis of the jaw and to stop this you need to be able to absorb calcium and vitamin D and other minerals that the bones need , so the lack of calcium and other minerals are not just the issue but the inability to absorb them is it... the inability to absorb these things is caused by gluten blocking the villi in the intestine , the villi is the strands that absorbs the nutrients.

    Hi Judi. I watched you video 1 and 2 and I am not familiar with probiotics. I don't mind the brand. Where do I get this probiotic and what is the name of it?

    • @JudiintheKitchen
      @JudiintheKitchen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sandra! You can purchase probiotic capsules anywhere supplements are sold, both locally and online. Just do an internet search for "probiotics" and a lot of options will come up. You want ones with a variety of cultures in them with both "bifido..." strains and "Lacto..." strains. No particular brand. Thanks for watching and asking!

    • @JudiintheKitchen
      @JudiintheKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You could do oil pulling, but I would use the probiotics AFTER doing the oil pulling. That way, the oil pulling would hopefully remove a lot of negative bacteria, while the probiotics would replenish the good ones. Thanks for watching and asking!

    • @JudiintheKitchen
      @JudiintheKitchen  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Yvonne! It's been a while and I'm sorry to say that I didn't document the brand I used at the time. I usually get a brand of assorted Lactobacillus bacteria and Bifidobacterium bacteria. I believe it was a 10 billion strength supplement. I'm sorry I can't be more specific. I think the key here is simply to add the healthful bacterial to your mouth so they can crowd out (or kill?) the harmful bacteria. You could use a 10 billion supplement or even one a little more potent if you want. However, I really don't think it's necessary to go overboard and buy an overly strong supplement. That may actually be too much. If you watched my part two video, I found that four days was enough then it seemed like I was getting too much. My mouth felt unusually clean (the only way I could describe it) and my teeth almost felt "squeaky clean", which was "too clean" and not a normal feeling. So, in this case, less may be best. Once or twice a day with the lower dose (10 billion) of a mix of Lactobacillus strains and Bifidobacterium strains would probably do the trick. Applying it before bed is a really good time since it will have plenty of time to do its thing before you eat or drink again. Stop when your body tells you it's "too much" and give it a few days to get back to normal from there. I really hope this helps! Please do let us know if this works for you :)

      @JudiintheKitchen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheSilverlover999 Hi! Thanks for watching and asking your question! I have not tried Yakult for imbalances of mouth microbes or gum infections. However, it's certainly worth trying if that's what you have readily available. It may or may not be as potent as a probiotic capsule, and the microbes in it may or may not address the problem, so this is really a hard one to answer without just giving it a try. Personally, if I had a gum issue and that's what I had on hand, I'd give it a try. Why not? If it works...great! If not, well then some probiotic capsules may be needed. Let us know if it works for you...your experience may help others out there. :)

      @@JudiintheKitchen Hi i already bought a probiotic 40 billion viable cells. i live here in Asia and a bottle cost 40 usd made in USA. it has all the lactobacillus including Lactobacillus brevis. I have a swollen gums in my left lower jaw but it does not hurt but i feel the thickness of it. After following your instructions within only 6 hours i felt my gums deflated. never thought it will work that quick. I tried coconut oil mix with clove oil before and sometimes hydrogen peroxide and it did nothing. Probiotic is AMAZING!! THANK YOU SO MUCH YOUR WONDERFUL!!! The other thing i felt is that my throat got a little itch maybe it has too many good bacteria on this.

      Hi Peter! I'm sorry, but I can't guarantee anything. I used this method for relatively minor gum inflammation. Yours sounds way more serious. Of course, it may be worth a try...nothing ventured, nothing gained. But just be careful not to let your infection get too far out of hand, as it may get serious. $5K is a LOT of money to put out, so it seems like anything is worth a try. There is a viewer who commented on something similar to your problem, and this worked for her. See comment from "SueWhiteStar" Best wishes to you :)

      I have done LANAP Protocol in Australia ,it saved some teeth but others had to be removed , depends how bad yours is ,staged 3 Periodontitis still can help your gum tissues and teeth , relatively painless procedure . And It did changed my face structure though , after the surgery in my case ,read the document doctor will give you , it has changed position of my teeth as well they gave me splint , try Waterlase protocol instead I think less damaging to structure because less heat for the surrounding tissues to be damaged from Laser's heat as they use water covering the heat , I am about to go for another surgery which with Waterlase protocol. To fix one tooth my periodontist had missed .
