De Falla was the heart and soul of Spanish orchestral music. He also was a great source of inspiration for famous film music composers. What a genius...
Just heard this tonight performed by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Ingrid Fliter. Never heard of this composer before, but the music was immediately understandable. Killer piece of music. Thank you for providing this wonderful score video. I want to see this for every composition now!
I have loved and been inspired by this piece since I was a child. What a joy! A comment though: Since it sound impressionist most people assume this means French. Listen carefully and you will hear a strong Russian influence. particularly Rimsky-Korsakov. But this is a compelling and highly original composition.
Look, if Facebook is going to have all of these commercials, then the commercials need to only occur between movements of this glorious composition and not in the middle of a musical phrase! And do not tell me to download the commercial free TH-cam app!
Bravo 🆗💪 España y sus jardines en la noche y el piano y el arpa

🅱️ruh the composer was Spanish and had a Spanish background. The piece is obviously Spanish, just sayin' 🤷♂️

Actually the french music was very much inspired by Russian composers and Wagner. Search for Debussy's influences
The music is obviously 100% Spanish. The orchestration is very influenced by Ravel. Falla was a great of Ravel
Btw, Ravel considered Falla's harpsichord concerto as one of the best chamber music pieces ever!
Inno alla Libertà, all'Amore.

...and I meant to say TH-cam in place of Facebook.
Very good. Although I don't agree with the ads because it hinders the listening of the piece.

Unfortunately, the piece is interrupted by commercials and cannot be listened to.
For love of God, just get an adblocker.
@@korhonenmikko That's true. As a classical music lover, ad blockers change your life
