Outragously gorgeous. Had the great pleasure of seeing masterful
Alicia at ORCHESTRA HALL IN CHICAGO
BLEW ME AWAY 💖💥🌹🌹🌹🌹
I also was enchanted by Alicia's fine artistry with the piano here in Denver, Colorado 😊
Wondering if she was on a US tour and maybe we might both have seen her at that time?
jajaja
I heard her play "The Maiden and the Nightingale" at Ravinia Park outside of Chicago, Illinois about 48 years ago. I was in tears from hearing the pure tone and perfect technique she exhibited.
Viva don Manuel!!!
Alicia d e Larrocha I keep coming back to Alicia, she’s the best, with her touch.
I find this to be the best Alicia de Larrocha version I have heard, among the many recordings she has made over the years. For this achievement, credit must be given to Sergiu Comissiona and the musicians of L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. Maestro Comissiona has delivered all the mystery and sensuality contained in this miraculous Falla score to complement the artistry of Ms.de Larrocha Not being familiar with this conductor, has made my assessment all the more surprising - but my ears and brain tell me much more than a conductor's fame or popularity!
An exquisitely nuanced performance of this indelible Spanish masterpiece, by my favorite Spanish pianist, Alicia de Larrocha. Her expression and tempi blend wonderfully with the orchestra to create a sublime, atmospheric listening experience that is oh so enjoyable!

Y además El Greco y Toledo
One of the most atmospheric pieces of classical music ever..the opening makes you feel as if you really are in a Spanish garden at midnight in summertime!! Thank you
Maybe one is.
Yes and one of the best artists who can play it!!!!!!!!!!
Yes definitely, and that wonderful resiny pine smell that emits from the trees and flora from he heat of the day. Then looking up at the moon with silhouettes of cypress and palm trees. Absolutely beautiful
Bellisima musica ,trnsmite paz ,gracias por compartir ,buenas noches
One of the best spanish pieces played by the best pianist, Alicia.
¡La he escuchado tantas veces!
The El Greco is a wonderful illustration for this piece.
I had the great honor to see magnificent Alicia perform this outstanding piece at ORCHESTRA HALL, IN CHICAGO.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY A PIANIST WOULD PLAY PIANO WITH HANDS CROSSED OVER FOR VERY LONG. WHY IS THIS, SOMEONE?🐦
I would venture to say that; because Alicia de Larrocha has small hands, that she has to rearrange fingerings; so she has to divide notes and chords so that she can adequately reach and play them.
Wow, that is quite interesting. Would like to know, how you know 🕊️@@orvillewrightjr9330
I love the bit were the piano sends ice cubes down the spine, wakes you up to listen to all the wonderful things that are happening in this music.
Heard this on a classical radio station while exploring a cemetery...What a beautiful piece of magnificent music....Thank You for posting!
Splendid!
Celestial lamps blinking over perfumed gardens.
Precioso
no, obraz jest autorstwa El Greco, Toledo.
Very well written and expressively played. I suspect the painting is supposed to be "View of Toledo" by El Greco; however, I think it's a modern version done much more recently.
It seems like the original, why do you think it is not?
is the original, impressive painting
Alicia!🌠
