I just purchased a home and plan to convert my garage into my personal gym...FINALLY. This has been my dream for years. It's a two-car garage and this video came right on time. I'm thinking mancave/gym. What else would you suggest adding?
Carving out your own space in the house is the best feeling man. It all depends on what you like to use. I try to avoid having too many large equipment as I prefer minimal but effective. I'll do short video like this one on everything I have in there soon :)

@Lovecat411 $100 is a very tight budget. I strongly suggest Rogue, it's a little higher end but a set of 10,20,30s are great to have. I personally use nuobells, ($400 single, $800 set of 2). Each nuobell has 80 lbs, 16 adjustable plates 5lbs per plate. You have all you need with those.

I live in an apartment and I'm in a wheelchair. I like that foldable weight bench for space savings. Wider the better also

@@Fryn_Haynidk but if you are (or were ig this was 8 months ago sorry I’m late) a beginner I would recommend getting one that can go down to 5 pounds because I can bench 150 but still struggle to lateral raise 17.5 pounds, and a year or 2 ago I would use 10 pounds as my working weight so I suggest that beginners get one that goes down to 10/7.5/5 LBS.

A rowing machine or cycling is better. For most home setups, a treadmill would be to warm up before your actual workout, so walking around the house for 10-15mins achieve the same thing.

If you don’t to take up space in your home with gym equipment, a gym membership is always an option just find one that suits your needs and budget.
Just get a set of bands and a bench (optional) you basically don't need anything else

@@zibtype2727the adjustable dumbbells, or at the minimum 300 pounds from 5-52 and that guy had 5-90 pound dumbbells, which are much more expensive and the foldable weight bench is that a minimum of $100 and will most likely be more expensive and the all in one gym rack is at the minimum 6000 bucks

You can do alot better for cheaper.
€150 - 80kg used olympic weight plates set
€200 - Olympic bar with squat stands (overhead press, squats, deadlift, romanian deadlift, lunges)
€60 - Gymnastic rings for upperbody with a cheap martial art belt to attach the weights to your body (weighted pushups, weighted fly, weighted reverse fly, weighted dips, weighted rows, weighted pullups, weighted facepulls, front lever, back lever, weighted triceps extension, weighted biceps curls)
€500 (optional) - plate loaded cable machine for isolation work or consistent resistance curve (press, lateral raise, pulldowns, triceps, biceps, external rotation, internal rotation, glutes kickback)
€910 in total making it cheaper than the all-in-one home gym machine, more space efficient because all the equipments listed fit inside of the all-in-one home gym machine, and you have similar exercises which can be overloaded using weights.

Only need 2 things: a bench and weights bench is optional
The biggest problem I face is switching from one weight to a higher weight, I have a pair of 7.5kg dumbbells and another at 15kg nothing in between which makes it difficult for me to progress since it's exactly double the weight that I am used to (7.5kg) 😢
The brand for the adjustable weight set is Better Body. But, I don’t believe they sell the adjustable weight set used in the video anymore 😭.

The downside to this home gym equipment is putting it together it is literally like putting together a wing on the space shuttle plan for it to be at least 6 to 8 hours of assembly
