  • In this talk, which took place on day 3 of Spring School 2024, Francisco Fernandes shows you how to perform Hyperscanning.
Hyperscanning brain-computer interface (BCI) experiments are captivating due to their ability to simultaneously record brain activity from multiple individuals engaged in real-time interactions. This approach offers insights into the neural mechanisms behind social behavior, such as empathy and communication dynamics. By studying synchronized brain activity across multiple brains, researchers can unravel complex networks underlying social cognition. Hyperscanning has diverse applications in neuroscience, psychology, and human-computer interaction, with the potential for future developments in brain-to-brain communication technologies. Overall, these experiments provide a unique perspective on social interactions and brain dynamics, fostering new discoveries in various fields.
