  • Day 6 of the BR41N.IO Designers' Hackathon in Vienna commenced with an introduction by Christoph Guger from g.tec medical engineering GmbH, setting the stage for the day's activities focused on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) innovation. The morning sessions featured demonstrations of cutting-edge technology including the Unicorn Hybrid Black and Unicorn Headband by Martin Walchshofer and Leo Schreiner, followed by Michele Romani and Bernard Wong showcasing the Unicorn Unity Gaming Interface. Sebastian Sieghartsleitner and Johannes Grünwald presented data-sets on motor imagery, P300, SSVEP, and ECoG, providing valuable insights into brainwave analysis. The hackathon officially kicked off after team formation, with participants immersed in collaborative hacking throughout the day and into the night. The day concluded with a session led by Alex Higuera from NeuroTechX, reflecting on the progress of neurotechnology over the past decade and outlining future directions for the community.
