It amazes me that since the JL came out how little JKs I even see on the road anymore. I think the JK is going to be a good opportunity and good snatch up for many of us. Though I always wanted a TJ Wrangler the JK would be a consideration for me on top the XJ I already own. :)
Considering buying another Jeep, had a few over the years, couple XJ a TJ and some real older steel, J10 pickup, Cherokee, Commando/Jeepster few CJ junkers. Having a tough time looking over some of the specs, isnt the XJ and TJ lighter than the JK? I loved my XJs but they were never super reliable daily drivers but the JK and JL seem to have a few issues and over intrusive electronics (start stop, traction control) but come with better rear axle and bit more daily driver.
I agree. Tons of cheap parts available. I actually like the 3.8 better as it us much simpler to work on and with proper maintenance the minivan engine will last a long time.
For a kid who just became old enough to drive, the Wrangler is great. He can get a Junk Country lift and a 52in. light bar off Amazon and he is ready to wheel..👍👍😂😂😂😂😂
Wrangler Wronnie! It's got a nice ring to it 🤣! I have a clean 95 XJ but rented a JL Unlimited Rubicon for my son's birthday. What a blast! No fun spending 60k thought. But I agree with you. A different, but fun experience driving a Wrangler.
Ive been considering a wrangler myself but really only want a TJ or even older. Hate me all you want but my daily is a 4runner(much more reliable than a jk). But my xj comes to work with me when i feel like hitting the trails on the way home.
I'm an xj guy myself I had a chance to get a jk or a tj so I drove both on and off road and I ended up with the tj everything about the tj is just better except luxury. Imo of course.
Exactly the same here. They are all cool, but I’m still an xj guy through and through. I have several xjs, but I ended up getting a tj (and then built it) and v8 zj. I really like all of the 1900’s Jeeps, however, I still identify my self as an xj guy 💪🏽
Jk is probably my favorite generation I’ve always been a jeep guy but finally just bought my first wrangler I’m loving it so much

I started with a zj many years ago now I got my jk and I love it

I love my JK, I added a supercharger (some people are haters), the supercharger helps a lot with 35’s and a lot of heavy upgrades for off road

The JK sport is a nice canvas for a budget builder

Please make a video about your exhaust, very interested to see and hear your thoughts on it.

I think the 99-04 WJ is by far the better value.
Is 2008-2009 good JK ?
