I did the same with my speakers in my 2017 JKU, bought 4 of the 6 inch Kickers. It definitely makes a difference. If you really want to make them loud, do yourself a favor, buy a 8 or 10 inch powered sub with high gain inputs. They fit under the seat and is literally a power, ground and signal wire. For the signal, you tap the signal off of one of your kicker speakers in the sound bar (let's say the passanger side) and it looos back around into the other Kicker speaker (driver side). The great part about it is the sub gets the signal from your kicker speakers, the amp then powers the sub and your kicker speakers at the same time. They sound SO MUCH better
I am 52 in May 2024, and I bought a secondhand 2009 Jeep Jk Wrangler Sport 2 Door Hardtop in Sunburst Orange in Australi and I am at least the 3rd owner and still has low mileage. Sadly she does not have any of the cool Easter Egg pictures. I had a touchscreen for iPhone CarPlay and iTunes and phone calls and gps maps etc with reversing camera installed also. First ever Jeep and she runs like a dream and she is my daily drive and starts instantly every time and even in the winter. I will ALWAYS be a Jeep owner °|||||||° ❤❤
I recently replaced my throw out bearing for the third time haha because of that same problem. It’s finally been solved tho! Use a heavy duty clutch by duralast that will do the trick
@@Guatemaya1 the pentastar is fine as long as you take care of it. Mine only has about 80k miles on it, but I had a jk with the 3.8 and 200k prior and it ran great
I replaced my 07 JKU with a Center force clutch Kit. I watched Ben from JK Gear and Gadgets and he had the same set up. He suggested the Universal Brand TOB instead of the center force TOB. I went that route and It doesn't tick nearly as much as it did. If you're driving all day you might hear it a little, but it goes away after you press in the clutch a few times. I never hear a tick on a cold start, Im really happy with it. It will be a year since I installed it in December.
I have the alpine option as well. It does pretty good in my opinion with the Jeep in full convertible top off rag top down at 120kmh I can turn it up to max and it’s pretty clear not much distortion as long as your playing a good audio file!

The spacer for the exhaust is hard to do when you got a skid plate you’d have to do spacers on the skid plate too. And you know obviously less clearance Sweet jeep dawg!
Can’t remember what company makes it buy there’s a kit to flip the electronic sway bar to get it out of the way. Only thing is that the sway bar motor will eventually go out. TeraFlex has a sway bar kit like the anti rock but it is adjustable with a knob and I think it can be hooked up to a air compressor actuator for push button in cab on /off ability.
Hallelujah that my Rubicon came with the steel, winch ready bumper with the steel skid plate protecting my sway bar disconnect, and my warn winch did not need to relocate my vacuum pump. Looks like 1 important upgrade you missed was a hood lock. To keep the midnight shoppers out of my engine bay
Luckily I haven't had any midnight shoppers try to mess with mine but probably wouldn't be a bad idea now that I live in daytona and there's a healthy amount of then

@@J_catching I have seen and solved exactly this a few times. It's super common on the '07-09s, but my '13 had it too.. Do the Big 3 (or Big 5, unnecessary imo) cable upgrade. Your problem, I'll bet money, is a ground problem. Hopefully you've solved it by now though! @SoFloJeeping Great videos! And sweet Jeep! If I could add one to your list, it would be the SUPER subpar electrical backbone. The alternator and ground wires are trash. Sorry! Two! The stupid O2 sensors that WILL fail, and require specialty tools (that don't work) or wizardry to remove, because some engineer made the electrical connector 2mm bigger than the wrench required.
I just watched you walk right up the biggest obstacle on the advanced course at JWJ Saturday. You really have that jeep set up and working great. I was at the top of the hill watching and talked to your buddy with the black JK's mother for a couple minutes. I'm considering stretching my 2 dr a few inches, do you have any tips on the best way to do it? Also do you think it's even worth it if I plan on staying with 37s because I'm not sure I want to go 40s on my DD.

My 2014 start ticking as soon as I start it! It’s an automatic 5speed and it’s the roller rocker bearings are gone and the rocker arm is now rubbing on the outer edges of the cam lobes and all those worn steel filings from that metal on metal wear is going directly into the engine!! I put a big speaker magnet on my oil pan by the drain plug and when I change my oil I pull the magnet off to let the majority of the steel particles from the cam and rocker arms out of the engine!
You can powder coat it, but if you do go off-road rocks will eventually chip away at it. You just have to keep up on it and maintain it. If you're not the type to stay on top of things like that I'd stick with the plastic one.
I have a 2014 wrangler unlimited. I go to turn into traffic and it seems like the steering pump stops working along with the brakes losing power along with the e brake idiot light coming on with the engine still running. Does it intermittently, any clues?

You can have any plastic items Line-X. I had my Gladiator bumpers and rear bumper done almost immediately after buying in new…I also have a 2017 JKU with bumpers, metal fenders and my hardtop all Line -X. Looks great no more faded plastic crap….
What does Florida's law's say about tires sticking out? I know up here in the Northeast, you have to have fender flares cover the tires. If I didn't drive my Jeep on public roads, they wouldn't give two shits, but I'm not having a trailer queen.

Steering sector shaft could wear fast with bigger tires and off road. Front drive shaft cv joint boot will tear and all the grease will fly out and make a loud clicking noise. Driver seat bottom will wear out. Heat heaters will fail.
Oh my! Well the death wobble could happen with most jeeps. I'd suggest getting g your sway bar, drag link, struts and shocks replaced when you have your calipers, pads and rotors replaced and an alignment. Don't forget there may be the door leakage issue. I fixed my leak with rubberized paint spray around my door jam and the cracks around the door and top of hardtop connection I used self-adhesive rubber door seal from Amazon. Most parts can be found on Amazon. There's a video on TH-cam. I'm proactive opposed to reactive

The ticking from the throw out bearing is the clutch fork spring. The spring wears out and won’t keep the fork tight so it rattles

Just picked up a 2012 jk, already upgraded stereo and speakers, headlights, grill and front bumper. Also got the upgrade metal door storage!!

If your exhaust flanges getting loose and rattle, try put spring on each bolt between flange and nut. It should fix issue.
I had my jk 1week before a thief jerked my battery ...locking hood latches would be nice chrysler
I did aftermarket locking hood latches for theft and highway flutter....they look good too.
Bought my led headlights AND a set of fog lights off of Amazon for $100. Couldn't be happier with them.

Check your battery terminals and make sure they are tight

Mid summer made jk sport is doing well despite being a early model 3.6.

Absolutely! If you want an oem look but to get rid of the plastic look into the aev or mopar bumpers that came on the special edition jeeps

I averaged about 15 if I kept my highway driving below 75. If I started doing 80-85 it would tank
They put all that plastic at the fenders because all the TJs rusted to shit in those locations...
