Revoltech have always felt like a company that is almost 100% concerned with posing even at the expense of sculpt. A lot of their figs have some genuinely weird things going on sculpt wise. But man...the posing is always insane. The AY wolverine is one of my faves. Probably the closest figure to the Marvel Vs Capcom games rendition of him you can get.
Prolly the coolest looking 1:12 scale Batman I've seen so generally kudos to AY for the suit details & cape on this one although not w/o some flaws including proportions height (legs too short making fig. appear sorta stubby considering bulk otherwise) & head size (a bit too small for fig. bulk otherwise) scale imo & not crazy about the arms unable to be articulated to be closer to sides of body. Unfortunately AY is all over the place/inconsistent in terms of proportions scale in their DC lineup which is disappointing (for me anyway). Have not seen that bad collar piece issue in other reviews of this guy so appears to be a QC issue on your copy fyi. Other QC issues popping up in several other reviews include right leg & left arm easily detaching when articulating & some parts otherwise froze/too stiff to articulate🙃. Didn't see any comparisons to other AY figs in video but he looks pretty good next to AY Catwoman & AY Flash but not so much (too short) next to AY Superman imo. The AY Superman came with both an interchangeable plastic & cloth goods cape fyi. Thx for the post & detail review & agree this guy sb able to get in some fantastic poses.
@@vnishpt7036 thanks for letting me know about the collar piece for the cape, I really want to take it apart and see what I can do to fix it or just understand that particular joint and its usage. But am afraid I'll end up breaking it in the process lol. But I'll definitely look into it a bit closely and if I end up figuring it out I might make an update video showing it. But yea overall still a fantastic fig eventho proportion us definitely a bit anime style, still cool and fun to pose for sure
Amazing Yamaguchi puts out some incredible figures. I own the “Arkham Knight” from them and every time I look at this figure I am amazed by all the details and poses that are possible with that figure. I change up the pose every other week. I will be getting this figure eventually…even with the issues you mentioned I really want a Batman Revoltech figure from the Arkham series as well…those issues do not bother me. :)>
I don't like Revoltech because they all look like they are Bowlegged. I did like the Black Panther but I missed out on that figure. I might have to pick this batman up. Great Review.👍
@@heavyassaultcollectables1731 yea they look weird when standing up straight. Body proportion is definitely more anime looking and man thar range of motion is why I keep coming back for more lol.
Was never a big revoltech fan (except their tmnt 2012). Their thing has always been extreme posing by sacrificing sculpt, resulting in some super ugly figures. I feel like in recent times they have started to achieve both without having to look as ugly as their past stuff often did. This looks nice as they always seem better off with armored characters. More options to hide the joints i guess.
These figures' proportions always look bonkers unless you have them in dynamic poses. They look fantastic posed.
@@TheCollectorCave yea unfortunately that's how they are but I can get pass it cos those dynamic poses are just so good hehe

They are meant to be in a dynamic pose to hide the were sculpt. You can have them in vanilla poses they aren’t meant for that
@@KORNdog1986 yea that's why I like them, they can pull off poses others can't and with ease too. So fun to spend time coming up with poses
If you ordered the exclusive from them it comes with an extra face plate at a higher cost of course.
@@cmbrock1 ahhhh no wonder I have seen pics with an angry open mouth. Thanks for the info

the sculpt and articulation is good when combined, but when almost any of their figures are just standing up regularly they look so awkward

@@fieryvengeance2795 yea the amazing Yamaguchi line seems to fix a lot of the exposed joints from back then.
