The collar is a reference to the game, in the mission she's in she wears a bomb collar that Riddler put on her that Batman has to solve puzzles to take off her
Glad I got this as well! It has so much personality and looks great posed in all the extreme ways Catwoman is usually drawn. I would love to see Revoltech take a crack at Black Cat with this figure in mind, however her simpler body suit may lead to the gaps being much more noticeable.
QotD: If a figure looks good, I'll get it. I'm not the type to buy multiple specific looks for each character or really look for 100% accuracy. If it looks good and has a general look to what I think the character looks like. I'm fine.
Great review! I have this figure and agree with your assessment 100%. I have their Amazing Yamaguchi Harley Quinn. Kaiyodo really does a great job with the females in this line.
If I'm familiar with a character and a figure comes out and it is stylized, I will get it if the stylizing is well done. I got the revoltech Harley Quinn because I loved that design they came up with
I had quit Revoltech for a minute but that Arkham Batman looked too good so I started collecting them again well at least the Arkham stuff. I’m really interested in the Ninja Gaiden figures they’re doing.
And this is why Anthony is a great reviewer people want him to say everything is good but NO not every figure is fine there has to be some imperfections
Top most wanted Revo figs of the year for me, the fact that it still looks fantastic despite the inaccuracy I still want it, cake and thighs praise Revo🙌🏻
I'm good with the stylized take. It'll fit in nicely with my Joker and Batman. Thanks BBTS for the same and you too for helping me make an informed decision.
Definitely looks like an improvement design wise. I loved the comic Venom look, but hated how gappy and not 'solid' it felt. Not the best first impression. This how ever the anime aesthetic works! The joints look great and less like a over complicated mess and overall like a good blend of JP and NA figure articulation.
This figure doesn't visually seem like she'd be as good at stealth operations as she really should be, but I doubt Bruce is complaining about the proportions.
Im happy revoltech seems to be improving. The Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden is the figure I've been wanted for yeeeeeeeeears, I cant wait, I hope hes as good as this one
I spoke with an official spokesman for the youths, and after showing him this figure, he screamed "Gyyyyyyatt" and proceeded to griddy out of the room. I don't know what to do with this information.
The only thing I wish this figure had was a non-grimaced face with the goggles on or at least to be able to switch it... other than that, I really like the fig.
As far as the packaging goes I have to say I don't really care about windows or not, I mostly buy my figures online. I get there are inbox collectors out there but, I mean... Revoltech's main selling point is the crazy articulation, why would you keep it in package?
@@AnthonysCustoms no problem 🙂 I actually didn't care for your channel before because I thought you were overly negative but I recently came back around to your channel and you surprised me, you're a lot more fair, I'm definitely gonna be tuning in a lot more. 😎👍
Man I really wish Revoltech would make new Trigun figures. Or at the very least reissue the old ones. My Storm Collectibles Terry has shipped so I look forward to your review of it!
I really don't like the character design and art direction in Arkham Knight, so taking it in a different stylistic direction (or any kind of stylistic direction) can only be an improvement as far as I'm concerned. The exaggerated and dynamic anatomy is a major appeal of the Amazing Yamaguchi figures in particular so toning it down in pursuit of something more generic would be a total waste. I generally like the look of this figure, the biggest gripe I have really is the very noticable lip on the thigh joints - a mid-thigh ball joint is a very interesting idea for achieving extreme dynamic poses, but I'm not sure I feel it's worth the trade-off... I would definitely have preferred the look of a flush swivel, and I can't imagine I would really have missed not having the ball joint. Then again maybe I'd feel differently having her in hand. The posability looks great and she looks significantly less awkward and finicky than your average Amazing Yamaguchi figure for sure! This figure was not on my radar whatsoever but I have to admit to being a little curious now.
I’d like this figure a whole lot more if I could find a custom head for her. The anime face is just really, really unappealing to me. Catwoman is my favorite character in all of comics and I still couldn’t bring myself to preorder her. I’m not a fan of Revoltech bodies, though, so I already knew I was going to be a tougher critic.
Okay but how does she compare on the cake meter to the McFarlane catwoman? (Joking obviously) I’m a big fan of revoltech superhero’s. They do dynamic poses really well
Personally I love the stylized look, I love the ascetic Katsuhisa Yamaguchi goes for and I'd rather have something that's stylized like this in a way that makes it look extra nice in dynamic posing
I like full masked Catwoman, not goggled ones. The face is a bit too anime and not comic for me too. But it does look like a good fig, just not one I'm interested in.
I'm not into Revoltech cause most of them have this really weird robot-design to them that I don't care for. Unless it actually fits the character that is. With this Catwoman though she actually looks like a human instead of a robot, so kudos to them. Also Anthony have you gotten your hands on the ML movie Carnage yet? I about shat my pants when his neck ballpeg was in an actually great position. Either someone on the design team does know what they're doing, or they got lucky. If he had a ball at the bottom of the neck too it woulda been perfect instead of just great.
@@AnthonysCustoms It's not my ideal design for Carnage but it's a neat variant I think. If we ever get decent (and affordable) 6-7 inch RE figures he can be a stand in Tyrant or huge Licker.
Great video Anthony. Frankly, I have no interest in this product rather more interested in your review of it as I own some Yamaguchi figures . I have discovered that Yamaguchi products require a certain degree of patience to get use to. The longer I have owned a few, the more I have come to appreciate them. But those thunder-thighs on Catwoman are pretty noticeable. I am glad you gave it a positive review. I hope this is just the beginning of great products from this company.
IMO if the torso was 10% bigger and the thighs/hips 10% smaller, it would look even more like the character and less like an action figure of it. Yeah, it would have slightly less articulation but it'd more harmonius without losing that certain "quality" that make dudes love this release. I'll take this over what McFarlane tries to pass a female figures nowadays.
QOTD: The portrait is a turn off for me. The anime aesthetics for the head is a no for me. However, when she wears the goggles, it does improve the look quite a bit. But wow is the range of motions nuts! If that anime style was applied to Samus in her Zero Suit or a casual outfit as seen in Zero Mission with mostly accurate proportions while still having enough range, then I would get a figure like this. However, if I was given the choice between this and the McFarlane version, Kaiyodo got the best one for the articulations alone.
I like voluptuous figures as much as the next guy. BUTT, the figure just doesn't capture the original look of the Arkham Knight Catwoman. I would have much rather preferred something closer to a Play Arts Kai like body figure.
"people i think just want me to say everythings awesome" what are you TALKING about??? watching you shit on a terrible marvel legends release is prime-time entertainment! plus when you do gush over a figure thats how we KNOW its good lol. you've sold me on a couple of things i probably would have otherwise ignored.
Nice review and I love your poses of Catwoman. I passed this one cuz it’s not accurate to the source material, but also the fact that this doesn’t have enough head sculpt options I want. I want her goggles on her eyes without the gritting teeth and want the unmasked Selena head. For the price, they should’ve offered these two heads, and I would’ve bought it.
Man, really makes me wish Revoltech got the license to make Queen's blade figures again with this new level of thiccness technology and better joints🤔
The collar is a reference to the game, in the mission she's in she wears a bomb collar that Riddler put on her that Batman has to solve puzzles to take off her
oh yeah. its been a while since i played it
So glad BBTS is finally sponsoring Anthony, well deserved, also means we'll get more reviews!
Uhh He's been shouting out BBTS for a very long time now in his videos dude lol.
@@omegashenron8 like ten years right or even longer lmao
@@Mazin-l5b Yeah that sounds right.
Glad yamaguchi line is getting better. Thanks Anthony for giving yamaguchi a chance.
They've been cooking for a while.
This is that DC Bishoujo collection in the style of Shunya Yamashita so it’s fairly correct style wise.
Glad I got this as well! It has so much personality and looks great posed in all the extreme ways Catwoman is usually drawn. I would love to see Revoltech take a crack at Black Cat with this figure in mind, however her simpler body suit may lead to the gaps being much more noticeable.

Anthony you should always review Revoltech figures. You point out stuff that people who even own the figures overlook. I appreciate that insight
Definitely one of the best revoltech figures hope you do the new revoltech spider man 2.0
Great review! I have this figure and agree with your assessment 100%. I have their Amazing Yamaguchi Harley Quinn. Kaiyodo really does a great job with the females in this line.
I like how beautiful this Catwoman look. Thanks for reviewing this Catwoman.
Great poses…loved the last one 👍
thanks a lot

She looks as if she was drawn by Shunya Yamashita.
Very cool anime styled figure. I was honestly surprised by the final rating but her posing is great indeed
And this is why Anthony is a great reviewer people want him to say everything is good but NO not every figure is fine there has to be some imperfections
Credit where credit is due is always respectable.
Their art stylization is great
Wow, one of the highest ratings I've seen in a very long while 😮
The last 9.5 was that T Rex warrior figure
For a Catwoman who can't do the splits 🤔
Been wanting this figure because I've seen a handful of headswaps and minor mods turning her into Black Cat
all go. we need more anime style batman
I'm ok with stylized versions, and I agree this is one of Amazing Yamaguchi's best figure (along with Arkham Knight).
man i want a yamaguchi batgirl so bad
Haven't seen a 9.5/10 score here for any recent figures, let alone a Revoltech figure!

happy to help
Personally, for Revoltech, my standard is how much fun is this going to be to pose. They are usually very satisfying figures to mess with.
Anthony getting a yamaguchi before mine even comes in feels like twilight zone episode haha

the collar looks like it might be the explosive one riddler puts on her in the game
probably
My wife is a huge fan of cat woman so I want to start her collection with this one
Im happy revoltech seems to be improving. The Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden is the figure I've been wanted for yeeeeeeeeears, I cant wait, I hope hes as good as this one
If their recent releases are anything to go by, he'll definitely be a cracking figure for sure.
I got my copy of her with unfortunate scratch marks on front part of her leg. I just have to ignore it because damn, it’s really great action figure.
Off topic I want to see some court of the dead figures now that BBTS is supplying.
I spoke with an official spokesman for the youths, and after showing him this figure, he screamed "Gyyyyyyatt" and proceeded to griddy out of the room. I don't know what to do with this information.
50 seconds into the video and it’s peak content.
For me this is an automatic yes go... I like this more than how she looked in the game
So true I don't see many Revoltech figures on your channel! Would also love to see your review on agent Venom. Def Figure of the year 2024!🙌🏾
Just when I thought I didn't need anymore catwoman figures.
