*answers to all your questions:*
1. All of Exo are considered vocalists bc they have a lot of ballads from their winter albums where there isn’t a rap included so everyone harmonizes and sings. Exo is a vocal based group.
2. They’ve all acted in dramas or movies except for Chen. D.O is the most successful. He won a Blue Dragon Award for best new actor, which is Korea’s equivalent to an Oscar award. The prestigious award was purely industry based and not fan based.
3. When they first debuted they made 1-2 albums every year from 2012-2017. they then took a year and a half (which is really long in the kpop world) to make their last album Tempo bc they’re all busy with their individual careers (as you saw in the video they all act, have fashion labels, model, make solo songs with other artists, etc). Suho said when preparing for the Tempo comeback, most of the group learned the choreographies individually bc everyone’s personal work schedule doesn’t match up.
4. Exo’s concept is that they are aliens from Exo Planet and so that’s why they each have a super power. if you rewatch the Ko Ko Bop MV, you will see that the video looks like they are on a trip on acid but it’s ACTUALLY them showcasing their super powers (ex: suho keeps jumping into the table that becomes a pool bc his power is water. or D.O. falls to the ground and it breaks bc his power is force)
5. Lay is the only chinese member left but he hasn’t promoted with them since 2016 bc he’s a youth ambassador for China and there’s currently political issues btn Korea and China right now, so a lot of ppl gave him hate (when Exo appeared on a chinese show the government blurred out all the faces of any korean member and only showed Lay’s face). He’s still a part of Exo but he’s just doing his solo work in China right now. Forbes said he’s one of the highest paid celebrities in China for 2018.
overall, Exo has been the top group in Korea/China for the past couple of years (with BTS on the rise internationally so that’s why there’s all these stupid fan wars). Every album they’ve released since their debut has sold over 1 million copies which has never happened in Korean history, ever. They hold the record for the most Daesang’s which is basically Korean Grammy’s.
EXO is not only the most daesang group, but also the most awarded group in Kpop, even each members has collected their own award.

The song of D.O Sabor a mi was actually spanish they make performance on a concert on mexico with Suho, Beakhyun, Chanyeol and D.O they learn spanish for that song for to their spanish fans, Im latin I speak spanish and their pronunciation was incredible ❤️

D.O is my bias I love him, he is so talented. Secondly, in my opinion, exo has the best vocalists. Their voices are very stable and its clear all of them can sing, their ranges are incredible and they are all very versatile. No wonder they are very popular, they make bops, and where there is talent, there is recognition.
D.O is the king of languages. He can pronounce them accurately and clearly. Like the Spanish “Sabor A Mi” he sang like a whole native😍💛
D.O is actually the representative actor of EXO, he won a lot of awards and he's considered one of the best new actors in the industry.

And Lay (Zhang Yixing, their only chinese member) is literally one of the most famous people in all of china. do yall know how many people live in china?!! it's hard to grasp just how big Exo is worldwide but don't be deceived by exo antis.
More info on exo: every single member of exo are actors. some in dramas or movies or musicals. some have done all 3!! and D.O (kyungsoo) is super popular in korea as a new upcoming actor in all the big movies. Exo is known as having the best vocal line in kpop, specifically chen kyungsoo and baekhyun but they can all sing. Some of the best dancers in kpop are Lay and Kai, without a doubt.

i’m convinced you never thought to look up the correct Korean pronunciation. The closest it can be romanized is “beck-hyun”. I really advise some of y’all to study at least very basic korean bc there’s no need to constantly butcher these names ON TOP of telling other ppl incorrect pronunciations. 😒
@@cinnabhyun8585 Most sorces romanize ㅐas 'ae' like a long a sound in English. It is only through really listening over time to people saying it that you hear the short e sound sometimes. But even Baekyun said it sounded like 'bacon' which is why that it one of his nicknames.

I'm two weeks late to this video and just subscribed, so I know there are already comments answering some of your questions and responding to things you say in the video, but here I am to add to it.
They debuted with the idea that they are EXO from EXOPLANET with superpowers to protect humanity and the tree of life.
All the members are vocalists, even if their main role is as a dancer or rapper. I'm really bad at distinguishing "main" ____ and "lead" ____, but I know there can be more than one per group.
I like that you say all of them a versatile!! Something I really like about EXO is that they are good at doing whatever is given to them. Their music ranges in influence. A lot of songs have more of an R&B sound, but they are also good at songs with a rock, electronic, hip-hop, ballad, etc. vibe, too.
Also, Chen just came out with a solo album if you didn't already know. He is the vocalist of the group who can go the highest AND the lowest. He's also the only one who hasn't acted in anything.
My bias is Chanyeol- he's my ultimate bias- but Baekhyun is consistently a bias wrecker. Baekhyun also has one of my favorite voices!
By the way, EXO is my favorite group.

Xiumin: Oldest, Vocalist (pronounced “Shiew-Min”). Acts like a child so If you mistake him for the youngest sometimes, don’t worry we all do.
Lay: My bias 😌. only Chinese member left, main dancer, vocalist. Sweet unicorn of the group. *isnt in the newest comebacks because he was in China 😭*
Chanyeol: tallest, main rapper, vocalist (pronounced “Chan-Yol” *make the ‘a’ sound french*). Plays a lot of instruments.

D.O: Also Also a Main vocalist, his real name is KYUNGSOO (pronounced “Kiong-Soo”)

Kai: Visual (some people don’t like the visual position, but he is generally the most praised for his looks even though they’re all visuals), Main dancer, vocalist.

There are 3 main vocalists (D.O, baekhyun, chen) , 4 vocalists (xiumin, lay, suho and chanyeol) and 2 sub vocalists (kai and sehun) in exo
To be short
exo has 3 line
Dancer line belongs to kai, sehun and lay
Vocal line belongs to d.o. baekhyun and chen
Rap line belongs to chanyeol and sehun
While suho and xiumin not exactly being assigned to such positions but these two members pretty much can be grouped in vocal line while xiumin suit dance line as much.
Additional info:
All members of exo are actors except for chen especially d.o. he's known as the actor of the group and most anticipated actor idol by the general public. Tho chen is a musical actor alongside with baekhyun and suho.
Lay and chanyeol are exceptionally known as the most multitalented members of the group as they can play multiple instruments (lay can play piano and guitar while chanyeol can play guitar, piano, drum, electric guitar and pretty much all percussion instruments) chanyeol and lay also known as a composer and producer, a lyricist too. Chen is a lyricist too.
All of them are assigned to each position but all of them can sing prettily and instead you might be shock at how well for even the main rapper of the group which is chanyeol can sing beautifully.
And also aside from music indistry the whole group is also well known in the fashion industry as each of them had grand brand having them as ambassador such as gucci for kai, tommy hilfiger for chanyeol and any other brands which i dont rmmber bcs they pretty much also dominating fashion industry. Basically to sum up exo is a group which excel in music as well as acting, modelling, you list them out exo can do it all talking about talentry.

If you watch their first music video, the beginning has a storyline for their concept. Which is each member having their own super power! That’s why their music videos usually have a magical element which you see a lot in MAMA, MIRACLES IN DEVEMBER, and POWER
Some of the Positions in that video were either wrong or just not very specific, so I’ll break them down:
Leader: Suho
Main Vocalist(s): Chen, D.O., and Baekhyun
Lead Vocalist(s): Suho and Xiumin
Vocalists (their biggest strengths lie elsewhere, but they can still sing): Kai, Lay, and Chanyeol

Every member of Exo is a singer, dancer and visual. Most of them can rap and act too. They're not called idols for nothing. We stan multi-talented kings.

Bigbang is king of Kpop. Their generation (2nd batch) was the era where Kpop started getting big along with Super Junior and TVXQ.
EXO belongs to 3rd gen. Korean media labeled them as Kings of Kpop bec of their tremendous achievements and records no other group has ever achieved before. Also they are "Nation's Pick" Again labeled by Korean media after they were chosen to perform on Winter Olympics representing Kpop. Their vocals is unparalled.
The song "Growl" was tagged as "national anthem" due to its massive popularity that until now it's kind of amust for idol trainees to try it and widely popular on reality shows. In 2017 Growl was even used in North Korea as confession song esp for young North Koreans. That's how big the impact EXO has.
Also EXO as solo artist is as successful as the group itself. All of them are actors and some are into musical as well. D.O is multi awarded Best Actor (tv drama/movie) and Suho in musical. Baekhyun is co-creative director of Privé New York (now Privé Alliance). They are also song writers, producers, models etc.

“Exo next door” is a good movie. I know it’s too long to react to but it’s a must see. That movie is why I fell in love with EXO. Chenyeol is good as always & Sehun is hilarious in it.
