With not enough factory power. I don't why Nissan insist on lagging behind other automakers in this regard. It is a slower car than the Mustang GT, The Scat Pack, the Supra, The SS Camaro etc. I know it has an engine that can be tuned, but other cars do also. They hav surprised everyone and dropped 500 h.p. in the car, or at least a higher trim version.

Got a sti after that and while it was faster I regret trading that z. Maybe this new one will be mine one day.
@Jay Dee ya I just used springs no coilovers. Only a 2" drop and the wing wasn't to rice if you look at the type 2 vielside wing it fits the body style and almost looks factory. I wanted the nismo one but only saw it after getting my wing installed. The suspension wasn't all that bad a little bumpy but it looked so much better. Having a car at stock height on low profile tires just doesn't look good to me. Was the nicest car I've ever had to be honest. Sure full coilovers would have been nice but your talking thousands more for performance gains that I just won't see on the street unless I'm trying to get locked up.
I think this is the first retro styled car designed to look like It's from the late 80's - Early 90's. Interesting how universally hated cars from those years used to be and now styling a new car to look like that is the best idea Nissan has had since around that time period.
@@leesparks4813 ohhh I feel ya, I was wanting to add the 700hp upgrade package, lot of things have to be done first to make that even begin to happen ofcourse, plus adding akebono big brake system, new rims/tires, upgraded, clutch kit, a damn reasonable, high quality paint job is absolutely thru the roof, it pretty much ends up to be priceless in the end, but having her over 20 years and the fact that she was always my absolute DREAM CAR, and I acquired her at 18years of age all by pure luck, and pretty much flawlessly the time, at a steal of a deal, paying only $3000 for her all because a guy was moving from SC to NYC in super short notice had no real time to actually go through the process of of really taking the time selling her, I heard thru a friend of a friend only and only had 3000g's to my name and he had no other choice and took it, sooo yeah pure luck, Honestly only had to add a new clutch upon purchase and I was 18 years old feeling on top of the world lol nothing like flying down the highway t-tops off in the evening summer months, ohhh the memories, I would drive her through the blue ridge parkway and just the way she handled through the curvy mountains roads feels like yesterday, still today these cars were way ahead of their time and I feel no other car could even touch the sleekness of these beautiful vehicles, still proud to own her😁good luck with your build my friend 💙

Yep! 347 between PHX and Maricopa! I remember seeing the Q60 in camo back on 2016 before it was released going up and down that road from the Nissan Testing grounds in Stanfield.

The Supra seems a little more striking in the looks department. If you look as the camera approaches the Z it really doesn't have that wow factor because Nissan, by using design cues from previous Z cars has managed to create a rather moderate/homage style. It looks good, but I prefer the Supra.
If you see one in person, you may change your mind. I thought similarly but saw one at the Chicago auto show and it won me over. It has really clean, sharp lines which give it an athletic look.
I was hyped at first, but it really doesnt give that huge impression, say what you want about "its the color" "wait for the mods". So much time to build something that looks so regular and, old looking (i know it has to resemble the old Z, but its just not it).
looks better than the toyota Z4. cooler than a 4 door muscle car. ur opinion is not bad but many will buy and with a manual twin turbo and wheels and coilovers . THEY WILL BE A FORCE PERIOD
Like all good footage this is available up to 360p resolution. I'll reserve judgment until I see it for real but the photos and footage I've seen it doesn't exactly look good. From what I can see it doesn't look as cohesive as either the 350Z or 370Z, just different lights.
It looks so plain and mild compared to say the new Mk5 supra styling. But I guess maybe this is a base model and hopefully seeing it in person also might make it look better.
lol z32 is clearly the best design. I own a 350 but the stock chrome headlights are trash and look girly. A clean z32 with 99 jdm parts will turn heads like a 100k plus exotic a 350 can't do that

the 400z does look great. I have a 2004 S2000 and it sucks that honda still has yet to announce a new one.
