2022 and missing the 90’s. This song rocks. Makes me feel A…O…K. 🤘
I'm right there with ya, kids now adays think there music is the best but in all honesty alot of the music now is plain out trash and shit. #Bringbackmoreofthe90'smusic
Yup!
Agreed 😊
Almost 2024 homie
Now you know how your parents felt living in the 90's and missing the 60's... lol
Dude has always had a killer voice.
Pity he can’t do it live with any consistency. 😾
@@normturner4849 that's true. But when he's on he's on. Lol
Sometimes he sounds like Steven Wilson.
Seriously, whew, I can really appreciate those vocal skills as an adult knowing more about music.
@@normturner4849 Yeah, I imagine it'd be rough without ruining his voice.
The whole Title of Record album is fire! I remember jamming out to this all the time in 1999! Still hits 24 years later
Yep 👈
Glad I herd this again.... This Song Is Great !
This song is probably one of the most epic songs to listen to in concert.
Mosh-pit gold!
Definitely!
Man I used to love this band. Man I miss the 90's. Anyone else in 2019 miss the 90s🤘😎🐶👍
@@BigBoss1982 yeah man Right on 😎🐶
If this song and video was out today August 11,2019 it would be #1 cause it still kicks ass plus there ain't nothing out but trash and garbage now🖕🐶😎😆👌
It's all about acting ghetto now
Hard rock thumps. Goot for the Soul & a Soul brother
@@samjohnson994 A big Amen to that👍😎🐶
From Short Bus to The Sun comes out Tonight these guys are the best of that generation. I'm 65 so I know rock, love my Filter.
This always needs to be played loud, if I'm listening to it so are my neighbors. I'm 46 so I was around for the best years for music, this band is one of the greats.
Teenagers mark their territory with loud music.
You are sonicly pissing into your neighbours' ears against their consent. You might get mee tooed later on for this.
2022 and still an excellent song that I rock out to!
hell yeah. It doesn't sound dated
This track came to mind early today and it sounds just as awesome when it came out the year I graduated high school!
It’s sad that the radio has basically forgotten all about great songs like these.
3:13 Climaxual.
This song always rocked.
This song still holds up. Always will.
That is the same voice my grandmother used the one time she caught me stealing change out of her purse when I was 6 years old. "You take my money"!
Hannibal Lecter 😂😭
then you started eating people.
@@Inf7cted 😂
haha
you stole from your grandmother? What kind of abomination child were you?
Oh, to live thru the summer of 1999 again . . .
Summer 99 > Summer 69

goober0323 Same way. So good. Hidden gems.
yup, oh geez sorry Korn and NIN this was my fav album for two years. when this came out.
Love this band!!!
only the worthy can enter
I remember this was on M2 (pre MTV2), and I was literally "what the fuck is this?!" and waited to the end for the band name and song title, instant fan.
✌
What happened to this band?
Filter is the most underrated band EVER
Todd Rodney the lead singer used to be in NiN
@@LadyHeathen82 christ him and trent almost look like they could be related
Hybrid IS the most underrated
I DON T THINK SO , HERE I FL THEY WERE AND STILL A BOMB
Hell yeah they are
"Take A Picture" just brought me back to a time and place I had forgotten about and it hit me standing sideways! Got tears...how time goes so fast and a song can mean so much!! 👍😪
Thanks FILTER!
Yup agreed
Still the most melodic and heavy at the same time
They were good at that.
One of the best screamers from the 90's. Proud to be a 90's teen.
Hard to believe this video came out 17 years ago.
pretty cool
yea ik
Nino Falletta make it 18 years now.Filter is timeless, you can't beat it whatever time whether it's 1999,2017,or 2020
Listen to this shit everyday on the way to work everyday on my old ass iPod, cheers!!!
This song (and other Filter songs) is like a fine wine: better with age. I like this song even more now when I’m in my late 30s than when I did when it came out.
The artists who did the shinny monoliths around the globe...Filter.
Oh, among 574 comments there already was at least one that expressed my idea that they definitely predicted in their video the metal prism that was to be found in a desert in 2020 ;)
Exactly what I was thinking!
That's my vote.
Such a great band, real rock
Me and the wife seen them at a bar in the basement . It was just like this. Concrete walls, floor and ceiling. It rocked so hard and loud✌️ best show I've ever seen. Then we got to go to a BBQ at the tour bus with them. They are so cool🤘✌️
Reppin' the 90s all day long...still have this album on cassette, like a boss.
Ahhhh I miss those days! Mama give me my medicine....i wanna feel like a tall tree....
I miss you Filter! Come back and bring all those crazy times with you....i wanna make different bad choices this time around....lol
Dam right

filter REALLY stepped it up from short bus on this album. This album is one of my all time favorites, and I'm a beatles guy
Incredible vocals
I feel AOK after listening to Filter 😎🤟
Just when you think that you've heard it all, a band like this one comes along
My fav track from them
The over 7 min version on the album is a killer
Their best album also
We really rocked in the 90s
Been rockin since the 60s, this is good stuff!
This song goes unbelievably hard
This whole LP is criminally underrated. It's well into 2011 and the whole thing still sounds fresh and engaging.
2021 still going hard
eleven years later and I wish it would be the time you wrote this comment. 2011.....
Truth! I played this cd all the time!
I miss the 90's
While “Short Bus” was my beloved introduction to Filter. TOR is Filters masterpiece. It has everything, an utterly timeless classic!
richard patrick is gifted with melody, just simply amazing.
After I hear this song I feel A. Ok. Love you Filter.
This is the Filter I remember that really had such an impact on me in HS with their first record. It was so nice to see a return to this sound with this album. I remember the first time I heard this track as I was driving in the car and I was like YES!! This is what I loved about this band.
Damn, this riff! \m/
Filter still F'ing RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!!!
Never noticed the song was shortened for the video before. The "momma give me my medicine" part goes on a lot longer on album.
New fan here! This song got me started. I knew Hey Man Nice Shot earlier, but last week I heard this song in a Spotify compilation, fell in love. Looping Title of Record since yesterday.
"You got your Jesus, I got my space." I love that! 💯
It's actually " YOU GOT YOUR DEMONS, I GOT MY SPACE.
90 s best bands ever
Damn...eleven years later, and this is still one of the only albums I would buy...
20 years bro
And now in 2023?!
Richard is gorgeous! I love him! Filter rocks !!! :-)
The older I get, the more I resemble the folks in the trailers...but I feel A O-KAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!
I am 5 years old and this music is great.
It’s 2021, so I feel A-OK!
I would jam this CD so much when it came out !!! Welcome to the Fold was my Anthem!!
Celebrate to Nothing !!!
This whole album is just one banger after another.
Best DARN concert at Bronco Bowl in Dallas Texas 90s... I Miss
best song on the album hands down!
found Short bus and Title of record at my local record store. new second favourite band.
who's first?
TheSewerChewer Smashing Pumpkins ;)
I’m still listening to this stuff,it suits me sometimes waiting for warmer weather
Good cruising tune
Loved jamming and head banging and playing the f*** out of that air guitar in my dorm room in college, this whole album is amazing! 😍
Really relevant right at this moment.
Aussie here. This song was playing on Triple J when my first child was born \m/
Don't be ignorant, quality music is still out there, you're simply looking on the surface of mainstream media for something to rant about.
Ironically, I remember loving drinking to this song....almost as if Richard and I were getting wasted together. And now, many years later, inevitably after having carelessly fallen into alcoholism, we're both miraculously living in recovery.
shiiit I`ve just remembered watching this on MTV an Viva .. No wonder i don`t watch any music channel now, Standards were too high back then :D..
I don't think standards can ever be too high for music arts...the reality is that now standards are too LOW. Let's bring back higher standards.
There is nothing in the world like a beat ass guitar riff...
GREAT BASS LINE..........(and it sticks)
get your self an ice cold beer.
An ice cold beer or a nice cold beer?
Still not sure. 😅
@@pathologicallyfriendly yes!
@@pathologicallyfriendly Or Anice cold beer.
How can this have less than 1M views after all of these years?!?!?!
YeH this is great!!!
This video was on heavy rotation on German music TV Viva Zwei back in the day. Great and heavy song!
Really awsome song here. Love the screams. Richard amazing vocals.
Моя альтернатива в 2000 началась с кассеты FILTER, PEARL JAM и PAPA ROACH!!!!! респект вам ребята!!!!!!
Вроде недавно.. а это уже 20 прошло..
Filter is still rocking it too , we love Filter
Another awesome Filter track to workout in the gym to. Headphones get nearly as good a workout as I do.
Love this song can't stop listening
Still sounding as fresh as it did 13 yrs ago! /,,/
I am surprised that the view count isn’t much higher on this song. This was a big hit back home when it came out.
now I crack me a nice cold beer just to get over the day. I miss those days.
This is the most “fuck off” and “in your face” song that I think I’ve ever heard. The best workout song!
I FELL YOU BRO
these were my teen years :)
The longer version of the song has the longest YEAHHHHH!!! Saw Filter at Camp Arifjan Kuwait :-).
strait kick ass song!
I remember wheni first heard this song ?! 🤔 I was 17 years old in 12th grade
I love that I got my 12 year old niece into Filter!
🤘 also in 2024 🤘
YES. You pretty much said what i was thinking.
"we'll be safe from the rest of the trailer park here in our rock cube" - richard patrick, 1999, minutes before the drone strike
Right on brother! I couldn't have told it any better! Rich Patrick is the runner up on one of the best artists of our time. He originally lead guitar for Trent Reznor and NIN. NIN is personally my number one. Just an exaple of musical geniuses.
"GET YOURSELF A NICE COLD BEEER AND DRINK YOURSELF AWAY...YOU'RE CELEBRATING NOTHING...AND YOU'RE A OKAY"
A feel good song if there ever was one
The opening song to one of the greatest albums of all time
Legendary band, maybe underrated, awesome voice and message. Bring back the 90s please
My FAVORITE Filter song! AAAARRRGGG!! They edited my FAV part of this song out of the vid. That INSANE scream @ the end of "makes me feel like a tall tree ..." Anyway, drums are just KILLER @ the end of the song.
Been "Filtered" since '95! 👍👍
Hearing this song for the first time recently. It kinda blew my mind. As a former alcoholic I was basically celebrating nothing every time I drank. And I drank to feel A OK. It's a extremely honest song.
Elle est juste géniale cette chanson. "Ne rien célébrer, juste pour être bien"
Oui tt a fait dacc avec toi , je les adores moi aussi depuis une longue date.
I remember my friend saying Filter went soft when Take a Picture came out and it was nothing like the first album. So I played this song for him and he was like "FUCK YEAH!"
I'm Morocco n boy these is my first favorite Rock alternative song in my life ❤️💣👍🇲🇦
My brain has never left 90's dimension, every time I hear timeless classics from the 90's I am transported back in time/home. 💞👌😊👍
I use to play this song every Friday for years................. Sorry Neighbors
Don't ever apologize for making others listen to awesome music. You did them an awesome favour 👌
Lol hell yeah why apologize to the neighbors for trying to broaden their horizons with good music 😏
