This Band ( Filter)are just blowing me away listening to them,in all my 71 years on this earth I've never heard another band like them, they are just awesome. Regards, Doug Hughes Williamstown Nth, Australia
I'm right there with ya, kids now adays think there music is the best but in all honesty alot of the music now is plain out trash and shit. #Bringbackmoreofthe90'smusic
If this song and video was out today August 11,2019 it would be #1 cause it still kicks ass plus there ain't nothing out but trash and garbage now🖕🐶😎😆👌
This always needs to be played loud, if I'm listening to it so are my neighbors. I'm 46 so I was around for the best years for music, this band is one of the greats.
Teenagers mark their territory with loud music. You are sonicly pissing into your neighbours' ears against their consent. You might get mee tooed later on for this.
"Take A Picture" just brought me back to a time and place I had forgotten about and it hit me standing sideways! Got tears...how time goes so fast and a song can mean so much!! 👍😪 Thanks FILTER!
I remember this was on M2 (pre MTV2), and I was literally "what the fuck is this?!" and waited to the end for the band name and song title, instant fan.
I just saw them at Welcome to Rockville 2023 in Daytona in May, going to see them again in August with Rob Zombie, and that makes me feel AAA-OOOO-KKKKKKKK👌👌👌👌
Saw them in Spring 2000. Unknown band at time Chevelle opened. (Best Tool wannabee I heard.) Anyways, Richard came out with a Red MJ jacket on, one shiny white glove. They opened with this song. Was incredible. Small Venue in Kansas City. I was 22
Where has this band filter been I live in Australia and l have never heard of them they are absolutely brilliant! Regards Doug Hughes Williamstown Australia❤❤
Hearing this song for the first time recently. It kinda blew my mind. As a former alcoholic I was basically celebrating nothing every time I drank. And I drank to feel A OK. It's a extremely honest song.
Oh, among 574 comments there already was at least one that expressed my idea that they definitely predicted in their video the metal prism that was to be found in a desert in 2020 ;)
New fan here! This song got me started. I knew Hey Man Nice Shot earlier, but last week I heard this song in a Spotify compilation, fell in love. Looping Title of Record since yesterday.
This is the Filter I remember that really had such an impact on me in HS with their first record. It was so nice to see a return to this sound with this album. I remember the first time I heard this track as I was driving in the car and I was like YES!! This is what I loved about this band.
This song (and other Filter songs) is like a fine wine: better with age. I like this song even more now when I’m in my late 30s than when I did when it came out.
I only discovered Filter in the last month and I cannot stop playing their stuff,I must have been on another planet. Regards, Doug Hughes Williamstown Nth, Australia😊
Me and the wife seen them at a bar in the basement . It was just like this. Concrete walls, floor and ceiling. It rocked so hard and loud✌️ best show I've ever seen. Then we got to go to a BBQ at the tour bus with them. They are so cool🤘✌️
This was released in 1999 I remember it played on radio well into 2004.. since my dad died in 2005 music seems to not have this happy vibe of my 20's & 30's ..Now I'm 52 everyone seems mad 2022. I miss 90's !!!
It’s so funny. I heard this before I was of the drinking age and I just remember how awesome the video was… I tell people welcome to the fold when they are experiencing something heavy… thank you filter
Ironically, I remember loving drinking to this song....almost as if Richard and I were getting wasted together. And now, many years later, inevitably after having carelessly fallen into alcoholism, we're both miraculously living in recovery.
Right on brother! I couldn't have told it any better! Rich Patrick is the runner up on one of the best artists of our time. He originally lead guitar for Trent Reznor and NIN. NIN is personally my number one. Just an exaple of musical geniuses.
This Band ( Filter)are just blowing me away listening to them,in all my 71 years on this earth I've never heard another band like them, they are just awesome.

This still kicks as much as in 2024 as when it came out.
Yeah it does and after all these years imma finally see them in September

2022 and still an excellent song that I rock out to!
hell yeah. It doesn't sound dated
This track came to mind early today and it sounds just as awesome when it came out the year I graduated high school!
It’s sad that the radio has basically forgotten all about great songs like these.

After I hear this song I feel A. Ok. Love you Filter.
Saw them at a small venue, concert hall, standing just a few feet away and they played this song and blasted the audience away. Such heavy riffs.
Aussie here. This song was playing on Triple J when my first child was born \m/
Still the most melodic and heavy at the same time
They were good at that.

This whole LP is criminally underrated. It's well into 2011 and the whole thing still sounds fresh and engaging.
2021 still going hard
eleven years later and I wish it would be the time you wrote this comment. 2011.....
Truth! I played this cd all the time!

69 years here. These dudes f'ing rawk!
Yeah, well you were probably thirty something when it came out (no offense). 😅
While “Short Bus” was my beloved introduction to Filter. TOR is Filters masterpiece. It has everything, an utterly timeless classic!
This song still holds up. Always will.
Bottom string on the guitar tuned to Drop A for this tune.
I remember this on MTV back in 1999. Such a great song. Always on my playlist.
Good cruising tune
richard patrick is gifted with melody, just simply amazing.
This melody sucks
THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!!!
Such a great band, real rock
Unbelievably good. It's just hard to imagine that this slipped under the radar.
"You got your Jesus, I got my space." I love that! 💯
It's actually " YOU GOT YOUR DEMONS, I GOT MY SPACE.

Reppin' the 90s all day long...still have this album on cassette, like a boss.

Man oh man. I remember jamming out to the first 2 albums while hauling cows. Good times. Road tunes from hell.
Why Filter is not as famous as U2 or others?? Money?? PR?? I don't get it!! This band is one of the best bands ever!!

shiiit I`ve just remembered watching this on MTV an Viva .. No wonder i don`t watch any music channel now, Standards were too high back then :D..
I don't think standards can ever be too high for music arts...the reality is that now standards are too LOW. Let's bring back higher standards.

This is the Filter we Gen X love!! Who knows when we hear this riff again n when Richard sings like this
Never noticed the song was shortened for the video before. The "momma give me my medicine" part goes on a lot longer on album.
Cool!
best song on the album hands down!
I’m still listening to this stuff,it suits me sometimes waiting for warmer weather
Loved jamming and head banging and playing the f*** out of that air guitar in my dorm room in college, this whole album is amazing! 😍
The longer version of the song has the longest YEAHHHHH!!! Saw Filter at Camp Arifjan Kuwait :-).

And now in 2023?!
"GET YOURSELF A NICE COLD BEEER AND DRINK YOURSELF AWAY...YOU'RE CELEBRATING NOTHING...AND YOU'RE A OKAY"
