Finally people realize why police don’t want to do their jobs. Not worth the risk . Risk life to catch a felon and they get probation and you get a Law suit and lose your house and job
Wait a moment...He fled police, struck another vehicle, destryed a house, broke and entered a building he didn't own and all he got was 54 months probation and a $669 fine? What the heck?!
That is before insurance however, as he was likely sued by the driver, and the home owner though that is not a police issue. Though I do agree that probation is ridiculous, he is a previously and currently known dangerous individual with no intention of changing and he is allowed to continue walking on the streets while only having to pay a months worth of rent.
This is a complex & widespread problem in today’s judicial system! On one hand, the jail & prison system in The US continues have the highest incarceration rate in the world! Over crowded prisons along w/ enormous pressure from minority communities that have above average incarceration rates, has lead to judges & prosecutor’s being “soft on crime”! In turn you have communities that are suffering w/ a truly astonishing rise in crime rates! To ones that do get caught, it’s a revolving door! Imagine if we actually charged people for the actual crimes they committed instead of all these plea deals! Unfortunately the courts & prisons could never handle that & the criminals know it. Relatively Little to no consequences for most non violence crime.

You do realize what the main problem is right? We've been incarcarating people at such a rate that we've overcrowded our prison system to the level of braking.. We have by far the largest prison population in the world. And yes, China and India included, and those countries have 3 and 4 times more people than USA.. So I guess judges across the country were sentencing people to a certain number of years behind bars, obviously a few too many people... So now when this case happens and the guy has to be punished by doing time, we have nowhere to put him... OK, not literaly, there's probably place for him, but the problem is that the judges have to reduce sentencing people to prison, and do it drastically, cause we've been doing it way too often... And mind you, I agree this pric* should have been punished more severely, but I read people's comments under these kind of videos and they always say how our judges and prosecutors are too mild and never give prison sentences to criminals.. I ask them who are those 1.9 million people (out of 333 million population) who do time in US prison system? And why China with the population of 1.3 billion has around 1.7 million people in prions. Or India with the population of 1.4 billion has only 600 000 people incarcarated.. Think about that for a moment...
Unbelievable! After all that hard work, time, man (and dog) power and criminal damage to that person's property he gets probation? What the hell are these judges thinking?
Honestly, not sure whats wrong with our justice department in the state. I've noticed this alot, its WILD. Especially the amount of repeat offenders that continue to get probation.
I seriously feel bad for the people who’s day was abruptly ruined when their two cars and home where smashed into by some low life who was barely even charged
@@Wayloz ohh forsure. It prolly dosent even cover even 1 deductible. I just think it's weird they got their money 1st. Now these 2 family's are forced to make a claim if they can and they didnt even get their cut and have to likely go of pocket to individually sue this guy with or without insurance. Vs just properly sentencing this guy, saving everyone the hassle.
thats what a plea agreement means. its between the defendant and the prosecutor and the judge signs off it. avoid going to trial. if he ddnt take the plea he probably would be doing years in the slammer.
Destroys somebodies home, and a 52 year olds car on video = slap on the wrist apparently. This guy should be jailed. Idk those peoples situation in life but I know for a fact no matter how much money you have getting your home and car totaled will take forever to repair. Not to mention the price.
He gets jailed and he will reoffend again. When he gets jailed in a jail system that incentivizes reoffending them whats the point of sending them to jail if theyre just gonna reoffend again.
@@jessebaldwin2661 thats the problem. He shouldnt know he gets away with this kind of behavior he should go to a prison system that teaches the people in there life skills, morals, create en environment of respect instead of looking at one another as lower class citizens. Agreed. I mean you CAN sometimes get away on foot, especially sheriffs deputies because there is no fitness requirements unlike say being a state trooper. If they got your plate however, don’t even bother.
Let's start holding car dealerships responsible for leasing expensive and high hp cars to criminals. We all know those who own dealerships can afford it.

Getting REAL tired of these judges who'd rather keep the entrance to their courtroom be a revolving door instead of their communities safe and justice served.
4 1/2 yrs of probation and $600 sure doesn't seem right for a repeat offender that ran from police and destroyed 3 cars and a house. Our justice system in the US is seriously damaged.
Wonderful Job Judge. Probation and $600? That's an absolute disgrace. That judge should be immediately removed from the bench. My brain can't comprehend the insanity of almost zero consequences
Give some credit to the prosecutor, he’s the one who made the offer to save the taxpayers the cost of an expensive trial. I think they pay public defenders a few hundred dollars per trial.
And people wonder why they run? This not even a slap on the wrist? A half second sooner and the guy in the car would have been dead. At the very least let the dog tear him up.
The law enforcement part isn't wasted, it's the justice system that's messed up in that case. Getting criminals off the street is always going to be a big win either way, even if temporarily at times.
WTH the judge gave him a slap on the wrist and puts him on probation 😠 What about all the cars he damaged, the building's damage and the person in the car who was injured 🤦 What a joke this legal system is 😡 Criminals do whatever they want and the innocent people have to pay the price 😠
thank a liberal. Our criminal injustice system is too soft on criminals, who make up only a small percentage of the population yet continue to commit crimes as they are continually released on bail, probation, or serve sentences that are much too light.
no jail time probably cause this was at the height of covid and jails/prisons were getting hit hard with everybody locked up in close quarters so they weren't wanting new inmates unless it was a violet crime.
Whoever arranged the plea agreement and no jail time should be arrested and put in jail for not keeping the public safe. He only has to pay 669. What about the 100,000 in damages he did. Not holding criminals accountable especially when they almost cost other people their lives is such an injustice. Sad. But great police work!
dont worry im sure the next time he runs from the police he will accomplish whatever he didn't get this time. Notice it said he is a repeat offender and they still don't do anything to get him off the streets.
Should have just let him go with those “penalties”. He literally got nothing and he’s a repeat offender on top of that. No wonder we have so much crime in this country. Our justice system is a huge joke.

Felony Hit & Run with injury was **dismissed???** That was probably the most serious charge. I bet the person in that Buick wasn't told that being a victim was thrown out. I bet that car only had liability insurance, too, meaning the man was left holding the bill.
The more I watch these videos I’m no less surprised at the lack of consequences. The inconsistency is insane, how some people in jail for so little, while some you’d think have to kill somebody. The fact paying lawyers can buy freedom is a huge part of the problem but it’s usually not even that.
When people are charged, Judges can decide between the maximum penalty or minimum. That decision sets a precedent that they have to follow and those below them. Every judge is completely different, hence why there's massive inconsistencies. A lot of criminals get inadequate punishments due to prosecution cutting plea deals. There are a lot of defence lawyers who play the system too. It really is shameful
It gets really horrible when you consider that if he's not even charged with hit and run causing injury due to the insane plea deal then the person he hit and injured has to somehow drag him to court to prove it even happened in order to seek damages.
Hard to believe they dropped the felonies and allowed him to plead to misdemeanors, then just received probation. Charge him for every crime he committed, and then sentence him appropriately. Lock these folks up for the max time allowed, for the citizens of society who are not criminals.
He should be made to work his ass off in prison with all the money going towards the peoples property that he damaged and if it takes him his whole life then guess what he has to do it for his whole life until he is dead
I think we know that won't work, but I like your style! If they won't hold these people accountable, we should start holding the prosecutors and judges accountable!
So let me get this straight...This dude breaks a million laws, injures someone after hitting them with his car while fleeing, then destroys someone's house and he's put on probation and has to pay $669 dollars? WTF....dude should be serving life.
While I’m facing a life sentence because someone rear ends me on purpose after making threats of having people come beat me up and who knows what type of weapons they can have so I go bout my day and I’m getting followed and rear ended to the point I was blocked in so I get out and defend myself and finally get away so such someone fabricates a story to the cops I’m the one who goes to jail and has to face a life sentence for hitting someone with a fist while never being in trouble before while mfs be repeat defenders and get out over and over after committing so many felonies

This is why I can’t stand people that want to constantly put down law enforcement and criticize everything they do. They don’t get that these officers have to deal with people like this on a daily basis and be the first to rush in when something goes bad all while having to stay professional at all times, which by the way isn’t an easy thing to do for anyone in that line of work. They don’t get that these officers are just normal people that make mistakes like you or me and have families they want to make it home to at the end of the day. Now I’m not saying there aren’t bad cops out there that have no business being in law enforcement but you’re gonna find that in any profession and the majority of these officers are good people. Weather people want to admit it or not, the real truth is that you can pretty much watch any video like this and clearly see what the real problem is here. Hint- it isn’t the cops
I think people who constantly put down law enforcement aren't being honest about where their problem really is: not with any individual officer and his or her actions, but with the job description of a LEO and the fact that the job exists at all.
Ohhhh soooo sorry we all made these good people choose a job that has everything you said. Your watching our jails max out, and we have no place to put criminals. And it costs a fortune to lock these people up. Republicans love the idea of jail being punishment, but ignore the fact that over 80% of them WILL reoffend and become career criminals. This guy should be in jail, don't get me wrong, but he would still get out one day and do it again. Jail it self is not a good strategy for rehabilitation. We need a solution that removes criminals from society until these criminals have a real alternative to a life of crime, but that also, provides a real alternative to a life of crime. If you want to say that's not the state or tax payers responsibility, then we, the tax payers, will continue to pay 50k+ a year locking these people up, and still having crimes committed against us. Jail as the only way of dealing with crime is a failed policy. We have more people in jail in the US than any other country per capita, yet we have more crime as well...

I ask them who are those 1.9 million people (out of 333 million population) who do time in US prison system? And why China with the population of 1.3 billion has around 1.7 million people in prions. When people are charged, Judges can decide between the maximum penalty or minimum. That decision sets a precedent that they have to follow and those below them.

ALL HE GETS IS PROBATION??!!! After all that damage! That judge should have thrown his ass in jail for a very very long time!! The Sad thing is I live about an hour from Beloit and I hate going into Beloit because of the crime. They need to do something about this!!
Beloit is too close to Madison. It became a liberal hell hole, just like Sun Prairie and Janesville did. Madison has tentacles. I avoid going there at all costs, even if I have to drive out of my way.
Guys it's not that bad. Go to east st Louis if you want to see real crime.
@@JohnKaufmann East St. Louis isn’t that bad…go to Ukraine if you want to see real crime.
@@JohnKaufmann Come to LA. See the crime in skidrow
Prisons are already full. Who should they let out to imprison this douche? A murderer? Drug trafficer? Maybe a rapist?
Civilian knowing nothing of what happened: “Don’t shoot him!”
🙄
I was looking for thus comment
Wow how dare they believe in proper prosecution and not murdering anyone who breaks the law. Damn them straight to hell! It’s not like the cops accidentally murder people for less constantly hundreds of times a year!
I was like seriously..? The guys were doing such a good job too.
If that was all that the judge was going to give him they should have shot him.
Because they are known for being Trigger happy and covering things Up. They deserve to be treated that way.
He was slapped on the wrist and let go. This proves that we have no justice system in this country.
yup i agree .. in my country philippines this guy will be locked up for good in rotten cells styles and heavy security shoot to kill .. usa has some weak laws thats why so many crooks go do it again and again..
It's called Criminal Justice System for a reason.
@@TryAmazonPrimeToday Where was the justice? What was the reason?
We just need people in charge that is tough on crime. Not many or not at all in Washington are tough on crime.
@@austinken1405 When we are harsh on sentencing people complain. When we are lenient on sentencing people complain. Damned if you do damned if you don't
He destroyed that home! Poor man.
That's crazy, I was in the hospital when I was supposed to go to court, and was charged with bail jumping and I spent 354 days in jail and 3 years supervised probation and this guy done all of this and just got probation, what's wrong with the world today!!??
Moon Griffin? Is your skin dark brown?
Did you have an attorney because if so they did a horrible job and if not you should have notified the court you were in the hospital or had someone do it for you. But even still that’s insane and no way you were a first time offender to get a sentence like that. And if you were that’s just messed up.
It's actually years of soft hearted liberals.
Wish someone would've told them what they would be dealing with, like a sheet of paper that has the requirements, the duties and a brief description of what is expected of them. I mean that would let the people know what they're being forced into.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🖕🤡
That would be true if they would actually be held accountable for the violations of the law just like us. But they're not, so they're not like us. Why can't you get that ????
@@MrSlicky77 The fact they knew the dangers is why they are heroes. It's why they command so much respect. They choose to risk their lives to keep scumbags off the streets so that the rest of us don't have to waste our lives dealing with them. These guys have courage. Something you wouldn't understand.
Just got done watching the video where the cop stole someone's entire life savings in exchange for a kickback from the feds. True, the cops in this video did a great job, but that doesn't represent LEOs as a whole. Plenty of them are corrupt and, in fact, not heroes. Any generalization here is wrong, either way you spin it.
54 Months probation for that much property damage and he was allowed to plea-deal out of two charges? that's ridiculous.
The judges and prosecutors responsible for the lack of justice in the world are not going to have fun before God...
whats scariest to me is seeing that sliding board in the yard-kids lived there and could have been playing in the yard right in front of that crash
The criminal justice system is painfully and woefully broken beyond recognition to the point where the local DA should be indicted for gross malfeasance.
Call Georgie-boy Soros and complain. He funded many of these incompetent district attorneys' campaigns.
no jail time probably cause this was at the height of covid and jails/prisons were getting hit hard with everybody locked up in close quarters so they weren't wanting new inmates unless it was a violet crime.
The biggest crime of this entire situation was the judge being lenient on him
Dems
I thought the biggest crime was the homeowner telling the police that her garage door should be unlocked and it’s not…then the captions on the video claim that Sasha the dog tracked the perp down.
...and Sasha not getting a chance to play with her chew toy.
@@I-am-Veritas Exactly! No shots fired, nobody got tased, no biting, no fighting…It’s almost like this was just an exercise for the rookies.
@@glcmranger421 I feel like she did...she kept leading officers to that area and they dismissed her. There was a cut in the footage so it could have been a combination of things.
This plea dealing stuff needs to stop! Whatever the time is for the crime needs to stand firm for the criminal. This is one of the major problems with the judicial system. I never did understand why plea deals were even in the mix. Maybe I’m missing something.
Probation and $669 for tens of thousands in damage putting many lives in danger? Wtf is going on around here?!?!
Democrats.
@@rickhall8119 you’re absolutely correct
@@rickhall8119 that’s funny WI is mostly red. Try again.
Dems are loving this shit. Take a look at Portland, Phili, LA, and the biggest shit hole city of Minneapolis
It's judges like that, that we have so many repeat offenders running loose. The judge should have thrown the book at him. Terrible.
I love how eager for bad guy Sasha was. But the justice system is seriously messed up if this guy was only given probation and a tiny fine after all the laws he broke and property damage he caused.
So you’re telling me this isn’t his first time doing this and he got probation?? What is that gonna teach him? He’s just gonna do it again.
Given that hefty sentencing, I'm sure he went back to "serving" his community in no time.
This is my hometown. After 20 years of living here, I can assure you nobody has a single clue what the fuck they’re doing. Administration and law is a joke, with a lot of family ties. It’s difficult to operate without bias when everybody knows everybody. Everything is much more personal. The sentencing honestly didn’t surprise me in the slightest as it wouldn’t be the first time.
@@kuhknucklehead This isn't a town, this is a fucking circus.
it's 54 months. You think this person will not f*ck up before that?

So many ppl has completely lost their minds, its insane.
That woman in the future: "Officer, that man stole something from m..."

Whoever is the judge in that county should be removed immediately if that's the sentence he gave that person.
someone has to hold these judges accountable
Release the names and addresses of the judges and prosecutors - they will put more in prison to keep THEIR families safe then, don't let them hide behind a P.O. box on their public records.
@@theconscience01oh yeah good idea tell every criminal exactly where to get revenge once they get out of prison that doesn't seem like a bad idea whatsoever. Title SHOULD be:
"Why you SHOULD run from the police."... because after destruction of numerous vehicles, a home owner's garage, bail jumping, reckless driving/endangerment you'll only be hit with probation.
The justice system is any but!
Maybe if he'd surrendered straight away they would have given him a reward and the keys to the city? 🤔
Cop who kicked down the door definitely done this before! Very calm and professional! “I got commands” great communication to avoid confusion
Good girl, Sasha! Also loved her bumper sticker on the patrol unit.
Always with the stupid by-standers during the arrest of a dead-beat criminal.
Props to 'Sash' who helped locate the suspect - keep up the great work 👍🏻
This is one of the things I hated most when I was an officer. You work your ass off to arrest people like this who absolutely demolished a home, damaged 4 cars, injured a citizen plus all the other crap he did and the judge gave him probation. He should have a lengthy stay in prison.
This was especially true when I was a detective. Tons of hours sometimes trying to solve crimes and finally arrest someone and the judge barely gives them anything.
We put our lives on the line to do the job even though we knew what we signed up for but you can never know when a judge will just let someone go because they can.
It’s ridiculous. These people will never see a dime in restitution for the damage he caused and I guarantee he’ll be at it again. He’s had zero consequences of his actions so he has no motivation to stop the criminal activity.
Fleeing was the best thing David could have done. He came out smelling like a rose. Of course, that wouldn't have happened if our justice system wasn't totally broke. 💩
After learning the outcome, I wish I didn’t watch this video. $669, no jail or even revocation of his license. That’s significantly less than a DUI in most states with no damage and totally compliant suspect. He destroyed someone’s HOUSE for god’s sake. This is crazy.
