  • On July 17, 2021, a Wood County Deputy observed a vehicle traveling above the posted 55 mph speed limit and initiated a traffic stop in Richfield, WI. As the deputy approached, the operator of the SUV quickly fled the traffic stop. After some investigation, deputies were able to locate the male. He was asked multiple times to exit the vehicle, however, he continued to ignore their commands.

You say there wasn't a report of him having a gun. Cool, there also isn't a reason the cops should believe he doesn't have a gun. Someone breaks into my house in the middle of the night, I'm not going to ask "Are you armed!?" before pulling out my pistol, and then if they answer "nope", I just go ahead and not arm myself.

She clearly said it once...which means she did not scapegoat her daughter, she didn't know why they came at first.... The second big thing is that. Subconscious mind aka memory/habit mind works on 95 percent of the day, therefore she said immediately my daughter. because your memory mind works on 95 percent the whole day. She was not fully conscious about the situation. If the conscious mind would work on 95 percent then you may be right.
The second time when she started to think a little bit about it you may see that she came to her consciousness (consciousness works on 5 percent in a day) and realized that iot is her boyfriend.....She probably doesn't think about her boyfriend 24/7 every day therefore she said, my daughter.
If you learn something about the subconscious mind, you will understand a little bit more and stop being ignorant.
Dr. Joe Disppenza and Bruce Lipton talk about it a lot.
People have 60 - 80 thousand thoughts a day and 90 percent of the thoughts are the same thoughts as the day before. So maybe its the reason why she first said, my daughter. maybe She is more in contact with her daughter and family than with the guy, so you could be little less judgmental and more understanding.
Also, actress Goldie Hawn talks about mediation and brain and mindfulness and metacognition and she helped thousands of kids and teenage students to change their life. The kids are learning about how the brain works and how to show empathy to classmates and mediation.
Maybe the lady in the video doesn't practice mediation or metacognition, therefore she said first something else and maybe her daughter used the car often as well. But it doesn't mean she is a heroin addict or anything.
And Dr. Bruce Liptonwho is a scientist of epigenetics says even though the subconscious mind works on 95 percent of the day, ...people who fell in love with a job or with a partner, are much more conscious because they have also empathy. According to them conscious people fall in love much more and are also much more empathic.

A sales clerk overheard my mom, sister & I saying something about her (only mentioning her 1st name). She said her full name & asked if that's who we were talking about. We said yes & she said my aunt shopped there often. 👍 We showed her a couple of items & asked her opinion. Rural police are a different class (not say better/worse, just different). The phone calls at 10:07 and 11:29 show this, this isn't suspect #837465, this is Mark Baker Jr, Mark Baker Sr's son, Randy's friend, etc. 16:25, "it's been a little while". The officer remembers, he knows what the kid's been through, and isn't seeing some fuckup scum who's in and out of jail not worth giving the time of day, he's talking to a person who's been through the ringer and was running straight for a good while. 16:54, "I fucked it all up just, a week ago, missed my court date" the officer's tone changed, he knew before being told that the car broke down that a stupid mistake was the breaking point. At 13:18, "we'll let you have a smoke there bud" isn't a slick trick to get him into handcuffs, it's a small concession but damn did it make a difference, and I'm glad that was honoured.
17:54 wraps it up, they hit him with the _bare_ minimum to justify the response, jumping bail because, well, outstanding warrant, failing to stop because that's what started the chase (max 6mo, likely just a fine) and resisting after a few hours of standoff. They could've thrown in all kinds of driving, endangerment, etc. charges but didn't, the guy walked backwards with his hands visible in exchange for a (self-supplied) cigarette.

@crashtestdummy1972 stats say otherwise, black people get longer punishments for the same crimes committed, and from all these body cam footages the cops are way more patient if it's a white dude. Heck there was a video where a white guy reached for his gun and all the cop said was "wooh buddy don't do that". Compared to the black guy who told them he has a gun, and told them he's gonna surrender it, reached for it and got immediately shot. You can say what you want but there's an unreasonable fear in cops when it comes to black people.

Grew up in a small town. And yes it is completely different. I remember the first time I got caught speeding the deputy didn't even try to stop me. Instead he just radioed it in (the days before cellphones) and the dispatch deputy just called my dad and told my dad to lay down the law on me and that I had a verbal warning. When most people know everyone things can really be handled easily. It's why the TV show In the Heat of the Night was so popular back in the day because it emulated real life small town policing.

If this is your hypothetical, I think you can reason about it a little further to get at a reasonable answer.
Suppose someone is killed by the fleeing suspect when they crash into an innocent bystander. If there's an officer in hot pursuit, does it come back on that officer? Now suppose they stand down - that's your hypothetical.

The lower quality footage takes up less memory than higher quality footage, allowing for more footage to be stored. If the law enforcement agency allocates more funds to this area, more storage can be afforded, along with better quality footage.
