    My son had the same issue it was a nightmare for me specially because he’s my first I was a new mom and totally unprepared for it. I used to hate feeding time cause I know what was coming next: so much gaz crying spitting up non stop
    Not to mention the laundry the bips even when someone wants to hold my baby I always worn them that he might spit up on them specially if they are wearing something nice lol
    Anyways now he is 6 months and he is starting to grow out of it specially with the introduction of solids
    Don’t worry hang in there every baby is different

    My newborn sounded the same way and spit up a TON but it wasn't acid reflux. She was just really gassy/uncomfortable because of my fast letdown/oversupply. It sucks, but you just have to do all the things they recommend (burp often, hold up for 30 mins after feeding) and wait for them to grow out of it =( Also, if you do have issues with fast letdown/oversupply, you can try laid back position and hand expressing before nursing. My newborn was also a fast gainer.. gained 3 pounds the first month -- another sign of oversupply. Good luck!

    A very warm damp rag helped me with my sons acne. It just helps the pores open a little. I would wipe his face once a day with it. I've also been using Mustela brand No Rinse cleansing water for sensitive skin on some cotton rounds once a day and it seems to keep his skin nice and clear. Hope that helps.

    Poor guy! Hope he feels better soon! When my little had baby acne another mama recommended California Baby Calendula Cream. Worked wonders for us in just a few days. A bit pricey for 2 ounces but totally worth it! A little goes a long way and we only use for acne, rashes, etc. It lasted us a whole year before repurchasing more.

  • @AprilPierceREALTOR

    Antacids are horrible for the human body, it inhibits the absorption of nutrients. My baby had the same issue, he had a milk protein intolerance. I cut all dairy and red meat from my diet and the difference was night and day!! While I was ridding my body of diary (can take 1-2 weeks) we fed him Nutramigen formula. I pumped and dumped to keep my supply up while doing so. Also, antacids won’t prevent the tummy cramps if it is a milk protein intolerance.
    Eczema is most likely another symptom of a milk issue, my son had that as well.
    Good luck!! 💛

  • @danielleshearer6029
    @danielleshearer6029 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    My son did the same thing! After he eats and whenever I was laying him down for diaper changes I would do the bicycle leg pumps and it would help him release the gas!! Helped so much. Also feeding him more upright helped and stopping frequently during feedings to burp helped! I ended up having to cut out dairy because even if they don’t have a dairy sensitivity, it helps with reflux since it’s hard for them to digest dairy. Hopefully your little guy feels better soon and you find something that works for him!! You’re doing an awesome job!!

    I'm wondering if you have a fast let down and he's gulping or something. I have heard that if you do, and you use the haakaa first before you feed him it will prevent too much milk at once. I feel for you, my baby had reflux too! And I think you're exclusively nursing, but if you DO use formula, there is a great option specifically for reflux babies, just look for the "AR" on the label. I think Enfamil and Similac make their own versions.

  • @dorakib5692
    @dorakib5692 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hope he feels better and you get some sleep soon! I had the same issue when my son was newborn and first couple months. My Dr never gave us medicine b/c they only think they have acid reflux if the projectile spit up. It was hard to deal with him being so uncomfortable. :( I was formula feeding so I had to eventually put him on one that has less dairy and probiotics in it to help him digest. I also fed him smaller bottles but obviously had to feed him more often instead. I heard other moms that breastfeed say they had to cut dairy out of their diet to help. Good thing is this wont last forever if dairy is bothering him right now they grow out of it after 6 months. :)

    I'm so sorry your tiny baby has to go through this. He looks so uncomfortable. We got lucky our son never really had issues with spit up. About the baby acne, put breast milk all over his face to soothe the flare ups. Breast milk is magic I swear, I used it for everything with my baby from rashes, acne, diaper rash, clogged tear duct, a few drops in his ears and nose when we flew with him for the first time at 5 months. These were suggestions from my lactation consultant and pediatrician. Hope this helps.

    Have you tried FridaBaby Windi? Moms who use it, swear by it. I’m wondering if he’s constipated? Lol, this is tmi. But during my pregnancy (mostly 1st trimester), I noticed that sometimes when I would try to poop, I would end up throwing up (usually bile). I was constipated, and I felt like I had no space in my body for anything, and I would try pushing, it would come up from the top instead. Anyways, I’m so nervous for when I have a little one of my own (pregnant for the first time right now). Good luck with Jackson! I hope he starts to feel better soon!

My son did the same thing with these high pitched cries and was arching his back he would even tremble sometimes in pain 😢omg its devastating!! All his drs said it was my breast milk and he was just colicky and all that but later found out he was really having reactions to the hep B and vitamin K shot. He was also jaundiced immediately after and latched just fine as soon as he was born but after those shots I had a different baby. And all the nurses and drs always had some other reason why he was doing the things he was or theyd tell me it was "normal"! That shits NOT normal yall! After going thru several drs who were all unable to give me an explanation as to wtf was really going on one day on TH-cam I stumbled across a vaccine injury video on vaxxedTV I think and omg that was my wake up call everything this woman said was exactly what I had experienced with my own son. She explained what was in a vaccine and how each ingredient is made to work in the body and said the high pitched screams were referred to as encephalitic cries bc they're little brains were swelling!! That's scary as hell to think something you did to supposedly "protect" your child ends up doing more harm than good... encephalopathy and encephalitis are BOTH listed as side effects. I'm not trying to scare you or anyone else by any means but these things are real I'm not even sure if you vaxxed your babies I'm just assuming bc that's what most ppl do including myself. We try to be the best parents and do as we're told which is you HAVE to vaccinate bc they're soo "safe and effective" but yet they haven't been able to truly prove that claim and bc we just believe and blindly follow the "herd" and don't actually read the science ourselves (which they know we wont do lol ) they can get away with ANYTHING!! They're main motivator is $$$ they have NOTHING to lose and we have EVERYTHING to lose especially since you cant even sue a vaccine manufacturer if and when something DOES happen to your child bc they were given blanket immunity from liability back in 1986. The CDC says for every 39 doses of vaccines 1 child will permanently damaged by the same vaccines!! That's crazy yall. Especially since my son got 3 times the amount of shots I got throughout my life and I'm fully vaxxed. And I'm damaged as well. Thats a whole other issue lol but they've also NEVER tested the longterm effects of vaccines the freaking hep b shot was onky ONLY studied for 5 DAYS prior to licensure!!! And they give that to HOUR OLD BABIES !! They test vax for chicken a hel of alot longer than that and use true placebos! Vaccines have NEVER been thru a true double blind placebo controlled safety trial!! That's the "gold standard " of testing that EVERY other pharma product HAS to go thru prior to licensure except for vaccines. Thats also the ONLY thing that your dr is not gonna give you true informed consent with either so please do your own research and you cany Google ANY thing about this these days bc they're censoring the truth sooo damn hard its scary yall. You have to go to a physical website like the national vaccine information center www.nvic.org or www.learntherisks.org www.vaccinepapers.org the movie Vaxxed:From cover up to catastrophe and vaxxed 2 the people's truth are MINDBLOWING films that are sure to wake anyone with half a brain and half a heart up lol. Please look into it you guys your child could be having reactions right in front of you but bc you werent given all the facts bc your dr doesnt know all the facts he just knows what his pharma reps tell him bc his ass want taught ANYTHING scientific about vaccines. And if for some reason you guys still choose to vax that's cool just take the proper steps to ensure you're healthy and able to detox properly before and after a vaccine. Just know our bodies are truly truly amazing especially a womans body who after having things like the measles and chickenpox naturally can then pass their lifelong natural immunity into their babies and lower their risk of certain cancers in the process it's truly remarkable yall. God made no mistakes lol we are fearfully and wonderfully made and all these diseases and bacterias are all here for a reason lol our bodies are actually almost half bacterias if that makes sense lol our gut health is super important tho they say the gut is the 2nd brain some scientists call it the first brain lol but vaccines specifically the adjuvants in them are wrecking our kids guts then they tell is to give then all these meds like tylenol which depletes glutathione which is needed for the body to naturally excrete toxins something they desperately need right after a round of toxic jabs ya know?? Not to mention what it's doing tot their little kidneys and liver bc the hep B and vit K have already put em into overdrive at birth and that's why they're jaundiced. It's bad yall we threw all our tylenol OUT lol and they recently recalled that damn zantac stuff too girl I'm telling you I would look into it you cant just these fing pharmaceutical companies for shit these days. It's so deep yall might not be able to handle the truth lol I've been woke for a year and have slept more than 5 hrs at a time bc it physically makes me ill knowing the truth.. I cant speak out about it enough lol I'm sorry y'all I just want the best for our babies!!! I pray yall watch the movies and really look into it I'd be happy to give you more info!! God bless!

    Ugh this reminds me so much of my little guy :( He's 4 months now and his reflux is under control finally. It took a few months so hang in there! He had the same grunting and gas issues but I had to formula feed him because he was so uncomfortable breast feeding that he'd cry and scream when I tried and I couldn't pump enough to keep him full and gaining weight. If you decide to bottle feed, try the Dr Brown's anti colic anti reflux bottles. We tried every bottle and those ones finally helped him. Hope your little guy feels better soon!

      My son is on Zantac and the only one that got recalled with known higher rates of cancer causing agents is the premade over the counter Zantac, not the prescription made to order baby Zantac. Also, they published a possible recall for the baby one as a precaution and anyone who is giving it to their child received information about it from the pharmacy. No need to cause panic to Mom's just trying to do their best to take care of their babies.

    Look some babies are just like this. All 5 of mine h a d it, my last 2 were the worst. All spat up all the time, once a 2 week old went 8 hours straight without sleeping (at night) the only thing that helps is to sleep them up on your shoulder or prop them up. Sorry but meds are just a waste of money. It's something you just have to get through until they grow out of it.

    Just be sure to tell the pediatrician every detail: he is spitting up a fair amount and seems uncomfortable to the point of arching his back in apparent pain and is trying to poop, but it's not happening. It could be something you are eating. It could be a milk protein sensitivity that will require formula for his first year instead of any kind of milk. It is harder on him than it is on you. You will get it straightened out with proper consultations and changes and maybe meds. Thank God it isn't colic where he's screaming all the time. Does Riley sit without a commotion for her breakfast and dinner? Or is she just a grazer and you'll have to discover how to get her nourished properly within that framework? Did she eat her lunch when accompanied by yet more screen time? Are you doing the baby body massages with Jackson with the gentle leg pumping and the swirled belly massages, exactly as they demonstrate in the videos to help give him relief and get the gas out? They do help for a lot of babies. Also have you tried holding him face down like a football and swaying him from side to side, not bouncing up and down, to calm him and settle him down when he seem inconsolable and needs to sleep? There are videos online of how to do this and it works for huge number of babies when distressed. It is awful to see such a wee one in such pain and not know for sure what will help.

    Aww poor babies. I'm a first time mom as well and I diagnosed my daughter with acid reflux because she would arch her back, grab at her throat, constantly swallow and cry alot. She had bad gas as well. She took meds but it didnt work well for her. I would lay her at an incline. Omg I would cry and not know what to do. I went to 4 different pediatricians/gi dr and friend doctors not much of them were help. They said they need to grow out of it. My daughter grew out of the reflux around 5months. Shes now almost 1 yrs old. It was tough but they do eventually grow out of it but it's not nice seeing them like that. I hope he gets better. We also changed my daughters formula to similac allimentum(lactose) and I breastfed until 5months but cut out alot of things from my diet. The formula helped a lot for her tummy discomfort.
