I appreciate you pointing out where the notes go against the text type. You're the first reviewer out of many who have focused on this issue. Thanks

Is a study bible something for a person just getting into the bible never been to church or a church school. I'm just interested. Ive seen the kjv then the nkjv. Also heard of nasb which is a translation but more modern.? Kinda makes it hard to find one and start and to know if I should get a study bible. Or different.

Hi good morning, If you are just getting into the Bible and want a study Bible ...I would suggest NLT illustrated Study Bible. Some people will disagree but that was the one Study Bible that really truly helped me understand. You know....I remember the confusion I had to. I listened to way to many peoples opinions and it kept me from even reading the Bible. My favourite translation ( KJV ) is different than the first one ( NLT ) that I truly understood the Bible. I hope this helps. There is way more to it than what I have wrote...but if I had a relative that had never been to church or knew nothing of the Bible, I would give them the NLT Illustrated Study Bible. I reviewed it on my channel 👍

Seems like it was just stating a fact. If they weren't in the oldest scripts, then they weren't in there. They're in other manuscripts. I think it's very transparent for them to include that. Having more information is best, imo. It's a beautiful Bible, but I don't use the KJV as my primary Bible due to the archaic language being a distraction.

Do you prefer the nkjv study?

@@mr.pickles810 I have had the NKJV Study Bible as well. It is good also...I think it was Faithlife illustrated. Great pics and charts.

The problem is, they say a lot of the Greek, but what is a lot. There is in the NIV statement that part of the resurrection is in the original scriptures, yet it is only two debunked scriptures that it fails to appearing.
I think it is dangerous to say that things are missing from the original scriptures, unless you are willing to write down, which scriptures they do not appear in.
