I know my question will be so basic, but I came across something in Genesis that I need help with, I don’t know why but when I was ready Genesis 1:27 and 2:7, I know it’s sort of like the author is giving details about how God created man but I feel like he created two different people and he created himself if you read kjv or nkjv. Can you please share your thoughts because I am confused.
In Genesis 1:27, God created man in His own image which was the sixth day. When the Lord says in His own image, it means in His character. In Genesis 2:7, a description is given of how God created man ie from the dust and then breathed in man’s nostril to bring life. Genesis 1 tells us that He created man and Genesis 2 tells us how He created man. Hope my answer helps.
