I'm currently filming matching a tonne of different skin tones, to make it into a skin tone matching video, but it will take a little while to complete (getting in volunteers to let me glue stuff on them). Anything else you guys want to see with the palettes? :)
Wow! I wish I had that any alcohol palettes 😍 I have a skin illustrator one and I LOVE it. The pigment can get used so translucently it's amazing. It's fun seeing all of the colors in one place 💚
My high school film teacher gifted me the PPI Skin Illustrator FX Pallette and I think I cried a bit when I got it. I had wanted alcohol paints forever and he overheard me talking about it. I love having the basic colors to mix and make whatever colors I need.
+Freakmo I love the EBA they are the same quality as Skin Illustrator. The advantage that EBA is you can refill easy with pans on set on the fly!! Glad someone thought of this finally! As a makeup artist refilling the skin SI palettes SUCKS!!! And you can't do it on set, you have to have anther handy. When you work on lot people a day on set you can go through these palette/color quickly. Hope you are well. always enjoy your work. It goes without saying SFX palette cause you can mix about any color with the colors given in both EBA and SI. In EBA I have been enjoying old age, undead as of recent. SI Necromania Palette & grunge.
Yeah I've had to refill my skin illustrators, takes a few days and the inks are expensive and hard to find here in Aus, I do really like the individual pans! Yeah? The old age colours seem different to what I expected, so I am curious to use them but also feel like a bit lost with them. Necromania and Grunge are soo handy to have!
I really love the Encore palettes. I find them easier to control the opacity with them and plus whenever I like travel with them on set they just feel really sturdy and I feel like they're not going to break.
can you do a tutorial using the palette for dark skinned people? you said your clientele is mostly pale so seeing some with dark skin would be really cool 1
hello freakmo. I just recently got my first pallet which was the skin illustrator fx pallet. i am wondering if i should also get a second pallet to work with.
I love European Body Art palettes- they smell so much better than other alcohol activated paints AND you can buy empty palettes and the individual pans of colors and create and customize your own unique palettes. Thanks for the color swatching and I'd love to see you take the PPI F/X palette and do a demo on how to use the ultra blue, prime yellow, and green to create injuries. I've been in the industry for years and those 3 colors are still a challenge for me - I automatically reach for palettes that have the color need rather than mixing those basic colors to get a similar effect. PS - hope you moisturized your fingers and arm a lot after using all that alcohol! :-)
Yeah I'd recommend the Kristyan Mallett palette if you're doing the stuff I'm doing, if I could only have one palette that'd be it, and it's smaller, so it's cheaper than the full sized palette :)
Hahah it got burny, that's for sure. Had a little rash on my arm for a few hours. Swatching the colours never hurt, but the solvents and rubbing in the removal were what got me.

😘 Please do a tutorial on matching skin tones using primary colours.
You got it! I think that will be fun.
My challenge to you is to match skin tones using only blue.
Freakmo fml 😫

I always get super excited whenever you post new videos😍😍
Thank you so much, that is so kind :D
Im waiting for my first ever shipment of sfx makeup from mouldlife and im basically using you (and stuart bray) as my reference on mouldmaking ❤
I really love the Encore palettes. I find them easier to control the opacity with them and plus whenever I like travel with them on set they just feel really sturdy and I feel like they're not going to break.
I get so excited when I get the notification that you've uploaded! I only have a few alcohol palettes at the moment but I can't wait to get more!
Great video! I use alcohol activated colours, but mainly to add tones after applied latex to the skin
this is such a calming video. all of your videos, no matter what sfx they are, are calming to listen to just because of your voice *_*

Hey! Yeah I'm trying to find some darker skinned arm models in Sydney at the moment, I'll include them in the skin tone matching video :)
can't wait for your skin matching tutorial, I struggle the most with matching.
Please do a mad hatter with the contour effects palette! 😻
Great makeup skills!
Damn these are amazing! I wish I had some of these. Sfx makeup is so fun to do and these are just amazing
Yasss more videos! I love your channel wooo!
Thank you so much, you're so sweet :D
I love when do you make big a lot of videos! it's so goood!
Would love to see you challenge yourself using the primary SFX colour palette. Maybe some basic bruising effects or something more complex.
I wanna make skin tones from the primary colours :D
Even better. ^-^
Freakmo do you meet the Dashbo alcohols activated palette? Please try, is so cheap, and the same Skin Illustrator's quality!
what palette would you recommend for starting out with alcohol activated paints?
Your work is awesome, and this video was quite relaxing to watch ❤️😂

Yeah the individual palette pans are genius! I will try to film using primary colours soon! Yeah I gave them a healthy coating of a healing balm :P
That would be awesome Kiana.
I love this!!!!
Hey! Have you used the Scotty's alcohol palettes? I was wondering what they're like?
could you do some videos about on set procedures and what kind of work you do
I was wondering how many squares of color are needed to cover the whole body? And I'm referring to bikini amount of skin showing or more. Thanks!
Do more videos like this!! I find I so interesting! :)
For that EBA pallet should create a rotting mermaid!!
That video was very helpful! Do you prehaps have a suggestion for a starter pallette for some body who is new to special fx?
Yeah I'd recommend the Kristyan Mallett palette if you're doing the stuff I'm doing, if I could only have one palette that'd be it, and it's smaller, so it's cheaper than the full sized palette :)
Love your vids 😊
How dry were your hands and fingers after this from all that alcohol?
Hahah it got burny, that's for sure. Had a little rash on my arm for a few hours. Swatching the colours never hurt, but the solvents and rubbing in the removal were what got me.
