I really enjoyed your presentation and am thrilled to subscribe and I can't wait to hear/read more of your content! I wonder if I could ask a sort of a practical question right here? I feel that already I am honest with myself. When you mentioned being honest about what part we played in decisions that got us to where we are now, I go over and over what I have done wrong in my life, I think I am honest because what is the point of all this pain if I am not honest about it in order to learn something? Or maybe I am delusional and have lost touch with reality. Thank you again for your talk it was wonderful

I think honesty is the first step of the process that shows you where you can make choices more aligned with your beliefs and values. When I notice myself intellectualizing how I feel, I slow down and try to feel my feelings instead. what comes up for you in your body (where is it located etc) when you face honesty? feelings are a helpful indicator of allowing ourselves to not hold on to the pain and lessons. once you feel your feelings, notice how you can let it go - remember that change happens a little at a time, and we get to rewrite our story one day at a time.

For a long time I didn’t know what the root cause for me was, mainly because I didn’t think of my triggers and what was it that triggered me and when was it that I got triggered. I realized that loneliness and being insecure with my self was my root cause. Currently I’m changing my way of dressing because it really boosts my confidence also working on going out on my own and enjoy my own company it’s hard, there’s times where I’m in doubt and don’t want to go out and get out of my comfort zone but it’s nice to go out and enjoy my own company. Will definitely subscribe to your channel, really like how well explained you are in this video and you give off good vibes!

@@nopeIdontthinkso388 because being addicted to hard substances requires different approaches than being addicted to shopping than bat video gaming etc.

that’s a fair argument! I think depending on the intensity and duration of your addiction there are different ways to go about resolving the attachment. hypnosis and visualization is just one way that has worked for me, there are a ton of other methods that may work for you
