Question: Will you revision and or rebuild the bus in the future? Some parts dont even have paint anymore.

Wow, I just saw how rusty the skoda looks... Question. When did your skoda had the complete restoration? (If it had), because if it was like few years before the writing off, it should't be that rusty... If I had skoda right know, I would prob do everything in my life just to get it like brand new. I know you don't have the most money to restore it like new, but at least you can try doing something in interior ;D. Also the do you check more motors (Just in case), cause they love to burn...

i think they renovated in 2018. but it has allways hag surface rust like that since i had it. the frame is strong. from the documents i see that they replaced a few frame pieces

@@skoda15tr65 okay, looks like in Tallinn they didint made the full frame renovation, because it looks rusty as hell! You can eaven try standing the rusty metal, that could help with Thurder rust collection. Also I want to ask. Is it still posible to connect trollrybus with 600 volt wires in Tallinn, and would still work as its without generator?

Hmm is possible to temporarily disconnect the engine and drive only on the rear engine? 🤔

This is clearly something wrong with the Traction Electric Motor!
Or BRUSHES, which also sometimes require MAINTENANCE, and maybe replacement (due to wear and tear of the BRUSHES). And also, sometimes the BRUSH MECHANISM gets loose. Maybe the SPRINGS have lost their properties. The worst kind of TED failure is when the armature windings burn, or an interturn short circuit occurs.
This is when an ARC moves around the COLLECTOR when the traction electric motor is picking up speed, as is the case with all armature electric motors. And the arc can be like in electric welding (in the worst case of failure of the Traction Motor)
In the meantime, it can only be the BRUSHES of the Traction Electric Motor, or rather WEAR OF THE BRUSHES. Then they need to be CHANGED with NEW ones. It may also be possible to check the SERVICEABILITY of the _ BRUSH MECHANISM.

Thanks. I have taken the brush assemblys off and the brushes where stuck solid in the brass case.so i hope that was all the problem with this motor. I will obviously check the other motor as well

Brushes Traction electric motors need to be monitored more often, since this is generally the more problematic side and the most capricious disease of all armature electric motors. + shaking, vibrations when the trolleybus moves. It also happens when the brushes lie in the brush mechanism, and from this, when the speed increases, the automatic switch can be triggered (the circuit breaker is the protection of the electric motor in some cases: overloads, short circuits, and the brushes are stuck in the brush mechanism). Which often requires maintenance of brushes and brush mechanism. The traction motor is generally a separate topic, since it is one of the main components or assemblies of a trolleybus.
