Nobody needs bonuses or surge charges, all everyone need is just proper pay, all we need is to charge the customer fairly and pay the drivers fairly and company also take their cut fairly which clearly it’s not happening and with the direction that both companies are heading it will never happen
I will say, for those that have issues saving money. Monthly bonuses really help.
Far too elementary mental understanding of this market
Just drive more hours isn't the solution man, especially when your already driving a lot. This is why I'm suspicious of this channel at times. It's advice that directly benefits the rideshare companies more so than the drivers. Clearly they want us to drive more, while they continue to benefit from their stocks SMH.
Thats all this channel has turned into. I like Jay but he's wrong here. To tell people to drive more when they are already is starting to fall on deaf ears.

This channel does seem like propaganda from a commu government. These companies will use every play. Thats why I am sus. I do appreciete some of qhat they do. Gettings drivers unbanned and basic news.

@@benawdawd6591 but if no one accepts them - then they pay more. I see trash in trip radar pop up and I decline it and they try to send it to me directly and sometimes more than once. Then all of a sudden there’s a surge lol
Also were seeing bonuses like "130 rides for 225$" which is insane for a 4 or 3 day period. It sucks. These offers are not part time. And they inspire dog tired driving
Glad I found an e-commerce business so I’m doing Uber and Lyft just to share my business to passengers. I’m not earning to Uber & Lyft to where I want to be like before, but it helps my other business so it’s the time to benefit from them rather than they’re taking advantage of us drivers.
Do NOT drive extra! That’s what they want. Pay you less and drive you more.

I just picked you up one day at San Diego international airport, and we had a nice conversation, and I would just say unfortunately as a more than seven year drive that this job is about to be dead very soon because there are already plenty of drivers, and also the robotaxi is coming very quickly!
fellow CA Lyft Driver (Modesto metro): I was offered 2 challenges over the past 2 weeks after not seeing any for 6 months at least. also had a couple bonus hours offered, though 99% are early bird hours.
I live in Sacramento, and I just got a ride bonus for the upcoming week. But I don’t get them consistently.
Today I decided no more Lyft. I only had 2 rides in 2 hours today. In the Vegas area Lytt is too slow
Uber controls 85% of the Vegas market easily. Uber is non stop calls around the clock in Vegas. Though they have dropped to new lows for min fares.
Why can’t I get or see anymore prebooked trips ? I used to schedule rides for the 4am and on before and now I don’t see that option
The shit they need to stop is sending me 18-20 minutes to do a $3.50 fare. I can't see where it's going and what it pays before taking the fare which is BS
I never do bonuses and i always get them. I just cant do a bunch of trash rides for stars/stickers/bonuses that do cover gas, maintenanceand wear and tear. If the pay meets my requirements, then i drive.
I cant remember the last time i saw a bonus on either platform i drive in new york ,i go with first come first serve but uber has a greater market share here ,but i have nights were lyft out performs uber but they are few and far between

I have been driving Lyft and Uber for 7 years and getting sick too.
We had to use our own vehicle , own gas , own maintainance , own time & own driver . Lyft and Uber are making more money than us .Just using the app. It is obviously not fair .

In Chicago it takes 30-40% Turbo to match Ubers zero surge pay.
Stop driving for them and you’ll see what happens. The bonus come back and leave again after you keep driving for them

Jay, I’m in the Sacramento area too. I received $130 for 40 rides a couple weeks ago from Lyft, but that’s been it for ride challenges in the last couple months.. I have seen the “turbo” & hour bonuses at times though.

Same here uber stop offering me quest, I haven't driven without quest since they started, same answer. I just stop taking little rides. Without bonuses I need to get longer trips.
A year or two ago I would get bonuses from Lyft and Uber like do 30 rides and get $100 now it's like 30 rides and get $20 and the cost of living and gas is much more now.
This has been happening to me also I’ve been working with Lyft for five years and giving very good service. I believe that the bonus is are not showing up anymore for a few reasons. They are giving the bonuses to all the new drivers. Second reason I think they want me off the platform because of my car being an older model car, but they don’t realize that I have kept my car in good condition. It drives very well. I get many compliment but yet Lyft is making it very hard for me with my bonuses, plus the gas is going up higher and in LA. They say that Lyft is cheaper than Uber. I’ve had passengers telling me that that is why they’re with Lyft now.

Well to be honest iv noticed the more bonus you the more they take from you..if I have a 5$ bonus and 30% turbo going and take a ride for 15 I should get more then 16$ foe it..I have pics of me having scheduled rides for one price and once I do the ride they change it
I called and asked and was told long as you get what the upfront pay said it right..I asked what's the point of having bonus if your just going to adjust rides on me..they just said sorry nothing they can do..I said so if I didn't have the 5$ bonus I'd got the 15$ for the ride.she said ya again I asked ok so what's the point of having them if your just going to adjust rides I notice it will come up and say ride switch when they do this and I have that off..but I don't get switched it jist them changing the rate
How old is TH-cam video - stock price are off - I have 32,566 rides/trips (7y2m) - Bonuses are carrots on a stick - I never counted on them ,it just came with Rideshare . Today up here in Minnesota I still make a good living with Uber or Lyft ( its just a numbers game )

Lyft sucks lately they have been screwing the drivers & passengers I had a Airport ride today they gave me $10 they charge the passenger $28
I have done over 10,000 rides for them I'm hoping that there will be a law suit and I'll be getting along with other drivers a big fat check in the future I'm crossing my fingers for that.

I have done around, 42000 rides for uber , when I did 40000 rides for uber , I asked them do you have any bonus or reward for me , they give me 25$ , it becomes a joke for my friends, they started teasing me , saying you got the biggest AWARD by uber , so both of they are same.

You're frustrated about bonuses and you are making $30 an hour. I'm not even getting any bonuses or making $30 an hour. But to be fair, I do not sign up for any bonuses or challenges and if the ride is worth it. I'll take it but if not 👎🏿

In newyork They Give bonus but if your minimum pay less then your actual income then they adjust bonus in your minimum pay why they are mad bonus means give some extra for your extra efforts
