    I'm 3 weeks out from the Masters right now. Had acid reflux from spicy mustard. Stopped using it and all good. Put in zinc carnosine and Mastic gum to help my gut and it's helped.

    When Nick was going heavy for chest with 130 lb dumbbells he didn't see nothing now he's doing hundred pound dumbbells and going slow and concentrate and now he sees his chest growing there's no one way to workout

    I think if a person is eating good but not way too much and they are still having problems examine carbs and fat intake it might be too many carbs is most often the case or their portion sizes of meals are too much it’s not really rocket science but little things like being careful with portion size and cutting carbs can tighten up the physique

    1-3 tablespoons of low cal condiments won’t do much . Problem is most people’s version of a tablespoon is 7

    Yes ketchup used to be my weakness it worked wonders when i stopped all those condiments even when they say for example 3 carbs, legally if they have 3.9 carbs theyre still allowed to claim 3. So that extra 1 adds up. Also, because lets be serious, nobody just uses 1 teaspoon!!!

      ⁠@@jimscarnivorekitchen4731especially if you’re using them multiple times a day and the serving size is a teaspoon. I’ve known people who were getting and extra 50-80g of carbs from condiments and didn’t even know it. It’s so easy to do, you gotta watch it.

    Mentzer won the heavyweight over 200 lbs. At the Olympia in 79' . Zane beat him for the overall. So he went far an was very successful with his heavy duty system

    You're right Dave they did give that to Franco. It was politics of Arnold and Franco was his good buddy. Arnold had a huge way of pissing people off! And they had every right to be pissed especially Mike because he was cheated out of two Olympia titles because of Arnold by way of Joe weider. I'm 59 years old and grew up with bodybuilding.

    Finasteride messed up my sleep too. !!
    Youre so effing arrogant Dave when you get these answers, Dave, you “guarantee it’s not the finasteride but something else” Guess what finasteride can do this to people! I’ve also had a problem with saw palmetto, keeping me awake too.!!!

    Dave holding a course on food ingredients list is not a bad idea. But it’s as simple as this. Look at the back and don’t have anything with more than 9 ingredients in it total. The condiments aren’t gonna work lol only if it’s a little in the morning. BBing is not easy and diet is very very hard. Be great.

    Dave, I have a question. I want to be a pro bodybuilder but I’m not sure how to get in the game. I am tall, have a lot of body fat, have gyno, no money, and zero motivation to lift anything heavy. How can I win the Olympia? Oh, and I’m 48 and never lifted weights.

    Sugar free ketchup has negligible amount of sugar for 250lbs bodybuilder it doesn’t do anything. Stop this paranoia. For 110 lbs bikini chick yes that’d be an issue.
