Light leaks are an over reaction. As long as it's decent you'll be fine. I've forgot to cover the display on my humidifier for a whole grow- no issues.
Yeah, there's not perfect darkness when they grow outside. I once grew in a closet and all kinds of light leaked around the door. Everything went fine. People going crazy about pinhole leaks are victims of marketing.
A good grower can do well in the cheapest tent. They would in fact do better than a new grower in the most expensive tent. The Tent does not guarantee any QUALITY in your grow at all. Prove that wrong.
My 5x5 ac infinity tent does leak through the zipper and leaks through the stitching on one of the lower duck work entrance holes. Only had it 2 months smh
@thedpkayway413 I was too. I've come to find out gorilla tents are the best in my opinion after watching a friends grow in a gorilla tent. Has no leaks its taller heavy duty material its made of it just doesn't have the components that ac infinity has and can buy. They ain't cheap either. Come to find out with the 5x5 for some reason is the only size they make without a flap over the zipper for blocking light. The 4x4 and smaller all have zipper covers smh
Vivosun doesn't have outstanding loght proofing, it's horrible! Why would you put Vivosun before ac infinity and what about Gorilla grow tents? I have a 4x4 vivosun and have light leaks so bad I have to cover around the tent with blackout drapes. The zipper is constantly getting stuck and skipping section with only half the tent being zipped. When trying to flower cannabis this is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this tent to anyone!
Their new line of tents are a HUGE upgrade from their previous. It's now 2000d (or 2200?) instead of 600d and has higher mylar reflectiveness. Upgraded zippers and stitching and thicker poles. Their old tents are utter shit but I'd actually recommend their newest line of tents (I think it's called like pro line or some shit) but yeah. There's a few videos on YT comparing leading grow tents, check them out.
Use chapstick or wax on your zippers. I have a melon tent that stuck and had a few broken teeth on the zipper...now it works beautifully! I also have a vivosun that has better zippers and I'm going to do the same. It'll protect it as well. Hope that helps!
