Chie was never the same after the TV World. She started fighting everyone and everything, from kicking Morooka to punching the stray cats. Her Strength stat was so high that she broke through Dojima's handcuffs, and now travels the world seeking the strongest opponents.
Galactic punt is my favorite. For the longest time, I misread that as galactic punch. So to see her use a move called galactic punch only to SPIN KICK the opponent into the stratosphere, was hands-down the funniest thing I ever saw the video game.
This was the funniest thing I'd seen in a long time, however the game decided to one up that and provided me with Yosuke hitting a shadow with his bike!! I honestly had to take a moment when he did that it was just too funny.

Considering how Chie loves Kung-Fu movies, discovering the shadow world and awakening her persona must be the best thing to ever happen to her. Girl is allowed to live her fantasy while destroying as many shadows as she wants.
All of them stands to gain something from kicking the shit out of shadows, both superficially and internally. Yosuke wanted to prove himself to be more than the Junes city boy he was pegged as. By being a shadow killer. Chie wanted to feel better about her tomboy self. By channeling her masculinity to kill shadows. Yukiko wanted to find another aspect of her life that's not about expectations of others. And that aspect is killing shadows. Teddie wanted to find his true self and nature of existence. And his purpose is to become shadow terminator. Rise wanted to make peace with the idea of acting differently in different environments. And that is by putting herself in drastically unpredictable situations. Naoto wanted the power to enforce her own brand of justice. Kanji wanted to express his true feelings. Etc etc
This really defines the P4 experience me and my friends had when we played the game together, Chie was carrying the whole team during the whole game since she got Apt Pupil and Galactic Punt lol
Same, I’ve always loved the trop of heroic ally who really loves to fight, they’re always so happy and energetic and it lends for excited characters and fight scenes

Just started playing this for the first time. I'm following a guide and they just casually say "beat contrarian king right after entering to find Kanji lmaoooo". I'm getting absolutely rocked and then Chie offers to punt him for me and end the fight automatically. She's the best.

I swear the game sometimes lets shadows survive a fatal blow just for the sake of making those automatic team attacks play out.
Yeah... It does sometimes feel that way when they survive by like 2 or 3 HP, however it makes for some wonderful clips!!

And that was all in character for chie.
She flew completely off the handle and annihilated every enemy by herself without a single command from yu.
Considering her biggest motivation is protecting those she cares about.. yeah. She clearly had enough of her friends getting hurt that day.
