Brilliant that's Reg alright I could picture him at Blackpool Tower what a technique Nicholas I remember he would have to wipe his brow after a medley like that I saw him in 1964 I was 11 he had a unique voice too 😊
Wow, you have certainly captured Reg's style perfectly. And, you're getting melody in the left-hand without second touch, not an easy task. Nobody on my side of the pond seems to play like this, but I'm working at it!
Isn't it just! Nicks accurate and upbeat playing coupled with the warm tones from the Hammond makes for a perfect combination. One of the best pieces of Hammond playing I have seen in a long time.
He had a really tough crowd to please. The early days must have been really hard work, especially coming from a classical background, but he did it and kept it changing with the times. This little snip from Nick is just fantastic stuff, and we don't hear Hammonds played like this all that often now, it was good of him to allow me to upload the clip to mark Reg's 119th birthday this coming Monday.
Brilliant!!!🎹✋🏼🎹🤚🏼🎹
Bravo!
Bravo! That’s how a Hammond Organ should be played!
That was brilliant, you don't need a rhythm when you can play like that. Absolutely perfect, that is the perfect Hammond sound, well done.

Yes! I always think Dixon plays the notes people want to hear and you've developed the right technique. Keep it up!
