Hello, I have a "23.8" Dell P2418D WQHD monitor and I am completely satisfied with it. The difference between 1080 and 1440 is clearly visible, just like between 720 and 1080, but the static contrast is only 1000:1, my question is, if this ratio is 3000:1, how much more visually does it highlight the dark parts , in the case of movies and video games? Thank you in advance for your answer!
@@zulfiqar7967 How does it look? Is it blurry? Can you see the pixels in that distance? I am also confused in between 24 and 27 inch at FHD, I want to go with larger screen but people says it looks blurry or pixelated so I am asking you.
@@blazeop07 not much pixelated in 27inch.. actually its based on your usage and budget.. for gaming go for higher resolution.. if you want to enjoy movies then 1080p is fine..
Hi, Really useful information, thankyou for this. Could you pelase tell 1. what is the scaling you've set in 27 QHD monitor? 2. Is that recommended scaling? Because I can see text look smaller in 27 inch QHD compared to right one? 3. In case youv'e set 100% scaling on left monitor, can you please tell me that if you set the recommended scaling (in case it's not 100%) - how many youtube columns do you see? still 6 ? - and what is text size compared to right one FHD? are both similar?
Its not even for 24 inch. After few months of using laptop 15,6 at 1080p, 23.8 inch at 1080p looking bad. 1440p at that size would be perfect but no one making it.
I would say almost only in games. 1440p has around 1,77 times more pixels than 1080p, so your gpu has that many more pixels to work with. But that doesn`t translate to exactly 1,77 times less efficient, it depends on others factors as well. One thing that is worth noting is that if you ran 1080p aplications on 1440p monitor, it can be blurry and worse than on a 1080p native. On games, it`s a consensus. On youtube videos, it`s mixed opinions, apparently it depends on the quality of the monitor, the quality of the video, and the personal view.
Heyy Bro, I want a monitor for Trading, and also for multimedia (TH-cam and OTT’s), please lemme know if 27 inch FHD 1080P monitor with IPS panel will be a good option for me ??
@@UJJAWALCHOUDHURY-cw4dg : Wrong, I have 27 inch 1080p monitor for last 2 years and I'm working daily on it as a software engineer and graphic designer to design and code my apps. I don't know where you bring this dialogues. It looks good. In fact at 27 inch 1080p the text looks so nice and it doesn't strain your eyes. The color contrast is pretty good. If you go for 1440p 27 inch the text will become smaller and then either you have to ruin your app by magnifying the text or get close to screen to read the text although the color contrast will be better and pictures will be more smoother but it is not noticeable in 1080p. This difference is visible only if you keep this two monitors side by side.
It does support, even 4k like he said. But if you are going to play games a 1650 won't run good with a resolution bigger than 1080 Unless you play Minecraft, terraria or something.
Good because most of these comparisons only focus on games. For work people, this is a great comparison
How does 1440p monitor look when 1080p content is being played? Compared to 1080p content on 1080p? Because i might consume 1080p more.
@elusive4072no brother 2k have more ppi than fhd so blurry is wrong word
Brilliant comparison, love it
thank you

Does text looks clear in 27 inch 1080p ..
I will within 2.4ft distance
text looks distorted at 1080p

1440p looks bit sharp compared to 1080p, I think because of the size.

The most noticeable difference seen through this youtube video is the colour and the contrast b/w the monitors, pixel density is hardly noticeable.
