Got a cool video here of trains racing up the Cajon Pass! Lots of Cool views around the Mormon Rocks, as 3 trains pass at once, and two of them race up Main 1 & 2! Thanks everyone for watching !! 👍 More to come in Part 2!
Incredible!!!!!!! Thia video of Cajon Pass is the best I have ever seen. The way you captured both trains and displayed them is pure genius. You are truly an artist. Thank you very much.
i get crazy, when i here the hard working Diesel Enginges while they are climb up the Mountan, whith a hevy Grade of 2,2 %. In California was my first Visit in the United States. The reason of the visit was, to see and hear the strong working Engines at Cayon Pass. I was 7 Times in USA and Canada. I came from Germany, a small country. we have very short fright trains and mostly they are whith Electric Lokomotives. I,am in passion when i see it in 4K by Drohne , and there is no Music in the background🥰😄😄 I can hear the Original sound from trains.
Awesome I used a real fan go home to house all the time, you did a great job. That one train that's a mix intermodal and oil train the oil cans must have been empty because there was no buffer car between the locomotive at the rear. Absolutely amazing nothing must have been 14,000 ft long
Very entertaining. If I can correct a few things, however, at 2:31, you refer to the train picking up speed as it clears Sullivans Curve. If it stayed on track 3 all the way from Summit, it would have bypassed Sullivans. At 9:46, the original ROW can be seen, but it was realigned in 1976, not 1977. When ATSF started making ROW improvements, they worked Westward in the 70s. Summit--1972, W of Summit (Todays track 3)--1973, Davis Ranch (near todays CP Walker seen here)--1976, and Sullivans Curve--1977. Otherwise, great stuff!
Nice work Rob i see you caught that H1/H2 Frankenstein unit on those cut in DPUs on that second train also was that a Ferromex SD70 running second at the head end of the third train? That train was haulin tail hahahaha i can normally find you on these videos but didn't see you this time. Did you have on your hat? hahaha

Yea that was a cool one with the ethanol train! I believe it was empty, probably why they had both buffer cars up front
