Tea’s Kazuya is a demon. He’s so much more random than Riddles and he’ll spam them kill moves like an elite smash player. Pure degenerate gameplay

Tea really is a great showman, even when money is on the line he goes for the silliest things. Good stuff from the both of them.

I love the headshake sometimes Tea does after losing a stock - looking down on the ground then back focused on screen with his sitting posture, it's one of "Dang, but don't worry I will have another chance". He is always so positive and relaxed. Great showman indeed!

And that is exactly what Smash should be. ”The most optimal” might be the best way to do things, but it easily loses the shine and fun of the game when the most optimal thing is literally 5 things, spamming aerials and up B. For example, there is no real Game&Watch without the use of the fun Hammer every now and then, that is a big part of the character and makes the games fun.
@@grydon6422 I think what people fail to realize is that "Most Optimal" isn't really the only way to win. Every top player, be it Leo, Proto, or Tea will sometimes just throw out a move to check you for doing options. Optimal is good, but sometimes, you just gotta throw out those high risk high reward moves, especially after conditioning.
@@Endershock1678 That's because playing "the most optimal way" is almost a sure loss. Being predictable means you will always lose, no matter how perfectly you might execute every single tech. Any pro player has to be creative at some degree. That's why even some very notable examples seem to abuse of playing "silly/brave", like Mango, but are still very successful... because they are just way too unpredictable.

@@johnbao444 It’s heavily situation dependent. Ur opponent needs to be lower percent than you or dead even. Kazuya outputs so much damage that its not often thats the case. Plus if Kazuya is high damage they’ll be scared of grab in general due to rage drive. Riddles does it when Riddles can lol

What an overpowered character, you can see in a majority of the matches MK Leo is completely ahead, but just gets one shoted at 20% which is very ridiculous. Nintendo definitely needs to balance this game out

@@raphu2272 Idk man I haven't watched much of Tea but comparing this match to when riddles fought leo, Riddles did a better job racking damage from combos while Tea did better at finding his hits due to his amazing movement. Neither execution is perfect but it looks like Riddles is better when it comes to that.
@@Oggre Elite isn't something I would use as leverage imo. In my experience not many online players are block and punish heavy so it's only natural they get obliterated by him, but I *am* curious about your experience in getting juggled as a Kazuya

Great set, but it's startling to see how many people will watch the exact same combos from a Kazuya every game, over and over, and think it's hype. Kazuya may not be easy to pick up initially but the character itself is such an advantage over others. Kazuya isn't broken, but try beating a Kazuya as any non-DLC character and tell me you're not at a disadvantage by default.
I agree with a lot of your statements here. Yes, most of his combos are repetitive, and thank you for realizing that while kazuya is op and a bs character, he's not as good as people make him out to be. However, kazuya has many losing matchups to non dlc characters. Characters with great neutral and/or zoning tools do really well against kazuya. Pika, ness, sonic, and snake are just a few examples.
