Nevermind reciprocity, we should have national constitutional carry. If the ATF exists at all, it's purvue should be to enforce THAT. The law of the land, from authoritarian American states who infringe on their citizen's and legal resident's rights (the People). The states are guilty of 2nd and 10th amendment violations, as 2A enumerates those rights, it is not the state's jurisdiction to legislate. Works both ways guys.
First off the 2nd amendment does not say anything about you needing a CCW, so having to have that is an infringement on your right to bare arms. Also to get to the point you don't need form of permission to exercise any other constitutional rights in any other state so why should we as firearm owners need permission from other states. Answer we don't. The federal Supreme Court has already made that very clear but certain states choose to still make up their own firearms laws and regulations. Trump has said in the past he will fix this problem once and for all should he get back in to office.
The Constitution left many aspects of our governance and our rights intentionally vague, partially because it would have been impossible for the Framers to predict the evolution of society. However SCOTUS has ruled in the past that reasonable gun laws were okay and there lies the problem. What's reasonable and what's not? To the Democrats nothing is unreasonable when it comes to gun laws. SCOTUS needs to make it clear that no license , taxes or fees are allowed and any bans past, present and future violate the Constitution and these laws are "null and void".
On the other hand, red flag laws are handy for disarming people "they" might have issues with. Convict Trump is talking about deporting 11 million people. Some of those will be armed and objecting to that. Anyone who even hints about making holes in certain people could be red flagged. Etc.

Im in Delaware, what are the chances they can get the state to remove its Assault weapons ban, outright Silencers ban, they are attempted to make self manufacturing illegal (currently injunction in place). We are restricted to 17rd mags. And getting a CC costs us nearly 1k plus we have to take courses.
Perfectly said. Stand your ground is the next attack vector after they lose on mag and assault rifle bans. They'll make having a gun useless bc of duty to retreat and lawfare and then say you don't need one for your own good. Sbrs and suppressors will likely be removed from the nfa. Agree that full autos will not be removed BUT think that mandatory access goes away. Line will be full autos and larger than .50 caliber being "dangerous" and everything else largely unregulated. Nationwide reciprocity of some kind would be the biggest win tho.
The only thing I’m worried about is what will happen to the cost of ammo if he actually implements the import tariffs he says he will. Most of the raw material needed for ammo is imported. And when imported raw materials needed costs go up, domestic raw material costs go up. If he increases tariffs across the board by 20%, that $250 case of 9mm will now cost $300+
@@HammerEcho1 Except historically that’s not how tariffs work. Increasing the price of cheaper foreign goods doesn’t decrease the price of US made goods. It just makes US made goods cheaper in comparison to the new higher foreign price. It also incentivizes US manufacturers to increase their prices to just below the new expensive foreign price causing price increases across the board.
Trump also needs to get records cleared for anyone convicted of exercising the right to keep and bear arms. There are too many felons because they simply exercised a right in the wrong state.
Some states like Ohio even the lawyers are unclear if you are safe from seizure by the state because the laws confict. It is a castle doctrine state and that extends to the vehicle but if you do not have a permit (Permission from the state to exercise the right to keep and bear arms) you can't have the weapon and the ammo both accessible from inside the vehicle, even if the vehicle is your residence.

A federal ccp would solve the issue. Local and state ccp are restrictive. You must have a federal background check to purchase a firearm. Why not a federally approved concealed carry permit.

Tired of the hero worship of reagan....HE WASN'T THAT GREAT..
@HammerEcho1 he did. BY ALLOWING THE 1ST MASS AMNESTY IN 1986..quite an accomplishment, huh? Then, also in 1986, he signed what became the 1st registration scheme involving firearms under "the firearm protection act of 1986". Although it only involved machine guns, IT WAS A START AND EMBOLDENED THE LEFT IN THIS COUNTRY. It set up a registry that exists to this day. Reagan also signed several gun control measures while Governor of California in 1967. So please, knock off the butt kissing 💋 of reagan.HE WASN'T THAT GREAT. And as far as history is concerned, he did play a role in taking down the soviet union, yes he did. BUT THE MAJOR REASON THE EVIL EMPIRE FELL IS BECAUSE THEY SIMPLY RAN OUT OF MONEY...PERIOD. crack a book and do some checking what Reagan did as Governor and president...it might suprise you.
If I could go back in time I’d go all the way to meet George Washington and tell him to go in depth on the second amendment. After the last sentence it would read, “To includes modifications of any kind. Any form of government seen making changes shall be persecuted and found guilty of treason followed by being punished by incarceration or death” Then go back in this timeline and enjoy the beautiful life we were meant to live 😊
That's the thing about it. Most "2A Organizations" have no interest in overturning permitting schemes especially in California. They are affiliated with, have holdings or just make way too much money to overturn the CCW Permitting Schemes. It's literally a giant money grab due to Training, application fees, mental evaluations, and attorneys making money off CCW Appeals for denials. In California an attorney will charge $5000 to $10,000 dollars for a CCW Denial Appeal. Do you think they want to overturn the CCW permitting system? Also in California some me issuing agencies use private companies like PERMITIUM to process applications with a standard fee of $125+. Think about it. If you charge $125 and your PRIVATE company processes 100,000 new applications and another 150,000 renewals every year your PRIVATE company is making $62,500,000 every year just processing applications. Then add training, psych evaluations and other fees, you'll see they are making money hands over fist. I would volunteer for a 2A organization and I saw first hand how many in leadership either are CCW trainers or involved with companies that provide training. Michele and Associates do not work pro Bono for members and are one of the ones charging $10,000 just to start an appeal with other fees piling up. Our rights are being sold at a high price and no one wants to do anything about it. I'm looking for an attorney who would use my case and my denial to overturn California's Unconstitutional CCW scheme but not one has any interest. I'm an FFL, highly trained in firearms, range safety officer, DOJ confirmed I can own, possess and buy firearms, no drug or mental health history and nothing in my record that makes me a disqualified person yet the courts still used false allegations from my ex wife and a dismissed case to use towards my denial. The paperwork filed against me using false allegations said "PROSECUTOR REFUSAL" because the investigator knew she was high on drugs and full of crap using the system to try to get back at me for leaving her after she abused my daughter and I found her stash of meth, heroin and syringes.
He might have signed legislation but, beyond that I don't see where he has or will do anything for the 2nd Amendment. In the past I never heard him ever talk about it.

Trump is not as Pro-Gun as we'd like him to be. Actions speak louder than words, as my mother would tell me.
@californiasun162 yeah, he's still the better choice over Gabby Gifford backed candidates.
Thats a huge one! Being able to go state to state without having to read a freakin book.
Get rid of the ATF.
American made is the point of Tariffs. It will help start manufacturing in the US. Off setting cost of ammo competitiveness driving cost down.
And they also need to get rid of the Mulford Act
Trump also needs to get records cleared for anyone convicted of exercising the right to keep and bear arms. There are too many felons because they simply exercised a right in the wrong state.
Not a bad idea, depends on circumstances but simply traveling through, yep
Some states like Ohio even the lawyers are unclear if you are safe from seizure by the state because the laws confict. It is a castle doctrine state and that extends to the vehicle but if you do not have a permit (Permission from the state to exercise the right to keep and bear arms) you can't have the weapon and the ammo both accessible from inside the vehicle, even if the vehicle is your residence.
You do understand that any authoritarian leader does not allow citizens to have firearms as they would be a threat to their rule.
I don't think anybody without forearms will be any kind of threat...lol
@@kippnovak9833 sorry about the mistake but I would never underestimate anyone.. If you looked at me you would not see me as a threat but I can split a cantaloupe with a 300 WinMag at 1109 yards using my Kimber 8400..I can run a straight 25 in Trap and who knows what else considering my background in EE, Physics and Chemistry.. All people see when they look at me is a crippled old woman in a wheelchair. If that is all they see then they have made a mistake.
@LisaTurner-d1b lol...I don't don't your shooting abilities...just hard to be a threat with no forearms
He was briefed on military personnel being able to conceal carry while in uniform. Didn't pull it off yet, let's see what happens this time.
I don’t know what Trump will do for gun rights -.but I sure know what Harris was going to do…
Gun rights will always be considered a privilege in u.s.
Bondi had anti gun issues in Florida.
I agree a national constitutional carry law.
How about the FireArms Safety and Training Act that provides fee training for anybody who wants it and ammunition affordability protection that eliminates back handed burdensome fees on ammo that prevents those that train to be safer more costly... how are primers so freaking expensive, then a $25 hazmat shipping charge... been a fire investigator for years and never seen a single case of primer shipping or storage ever being an issue.. oh and protects hearing making suppressors a simple purchase... in many countries... much more liberal they are required...
I think as far as the Supreme Court goes, I believe we will see now that Trump is in office that Justice Thomas and Alito will retire.
I think we shouldn’t have to be fighting any of this the 2nd am it’s simple and all this is bull sh..
The constitution is the supreme law of the land and says we already have those rights
Im thinking the restrictions on future issues will at least slow to a noticeable degree.
This is only a matter of the constitution!
Take SBR's off the NFA!
the wait period and restrictions on guns and magazines needs to be ended. if we pass background check we pay for and walk out happy.
In Maryland you have to get a license every 10 years to be able to buy handguns. Then you have to fill out an application before each purchase. Then you have a 7 day waiting period. Each of these steps includes a background check.
Yes national constitutional carry. . absolutely 100000%
Let's get rid of the no knock red flags too.
20 years ago I dated a girl whose uncle I had met was the 1st fatality from the redflag laws here in Maryland.
Met the guy a few times.
He was a weirdo back then so I'd imagine he didn't get better being an alcoholic vet but still he deserved better as well as the American people
you mean Lemp? That dude aimed a weapon at cops
If I can purchase a firearm I shouldn't have to get a permit to carry. Because the point of buying a gun is to carry at some point
Make cans and SBR’s Great Again!!!
I love the pic of VP JD Vance!!!!
I feel like I am spamming but he needs to stop the DC government from limiting its residents. We should be able to buy the guns we want.
unfortunately i live in california so things will only get worse here. newsom has already called a special session to sue trump before hes even sworn in
They won't get anywhere
Facts. Make it law of the land.
We need Constitutional Carry, or at the very least we need reciprocity for people with carry permits. Next, change the law that bans out of state resident gun sales. (This is important because several states have restrictive handgun rosters)
A federal ccp would solve the issue. Local and state ccp are restrictive. You must have a federal background check to purchase a firearm. Why not a federally approved concealed carry permit.
PAM Bondi is a threat to our 2A rights
Teachers should have proper gun training if they request it.
Regan limited the addition of machine guns to the NFA.
1:20 I mean, that’s skipping a lot of Reagan’s anti-gun stances including enacting the Mulford Act in California, not to mention his famous quote where he said "There is absolutely no reason why out on the street today a civilian should be carrying a loaded weapon."
Tired of the hero worship of reagan....HE WASN'T THAT GREAT..
He made several historical accomplishments
Any form of government seen making changes shall be persecuted and found guilty of treason followed by being punished by incarceration or death”
Then go back in this timeline and enjoy the beautiful life we were meant to live 😊
i should be able to own any gun that exsist with just a nics ceck
We got pistols, that shoot 4570, that’s considered a short barrel rifle now, this is crazy, all these rules are stupid.
trump back in his house
I rather see the unconstitutional 4473 background checks and NFA extortion stamp both need to be removed forever
Tariffs will make the cost of ammo skyrocket
Do you think this incoming administration will finally allow the Korean lend lease Thompsons to be returned to the US?
He might have signed legislation but, beyond that I don't see where he has or will do anything for the 2nd Amendment. In the past I never heard him ever talk about it.
@@Rob-xj3xh ... the SCOTUS has done a whole lot for 2A. Trump has bigger fish to fry...
I like the way you think. Good job.
