I found a new pair of Ironhearts at a thrift store for $2, sold on eBay for around $250. Heaviest and highest quality pair of jeans I've even seen and I've sold a couple thousand pairs of jeans so far.
Great pair of Jeans, love the review. I got a couple pair of naked and famous coming I'll need to start working on. Good denim and good boots make life a little nicer. Thanks for making the video.
About the cuff, you should un-cuffed them every time you done wearing them, cause it would loosen the tension on the fibers, and don't worry about loosing the cuff spot cause the cuff wear will stay visible. I do this all the time and all my denim doesn't have that tearing fabric on the cuffed parts
Great review. I’d suggest you try the IH-777S-21 oz Indigo cut as well. It’s a slim fit with slightly more room in the thighs and knees than the 555 cut. I have both and find the 777’s are more comfortable.
Great video as always. Love the evolution on these, everything I hope my 21 oz 777 achieve after 6 months. Here good things Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative which is now stocked by Iron Heart, so I might give it a try on the leather patch to see if it can offer some protection to my first Soak/wash.
These look great! I had a pair of 20oz jeans from Indonesia. Super well made and I was really looking forward for the fades...i chickened out because they were a little too heavy to wear at school and walking from campus to parking lot. Anyway, I am getting back into raw jeans as I really enjoy the process. Thinking about trying Bravestar next.
@@edysetiawanwijaya1412 The ones I had were from the brand called Sage. They offer a few fabrics and offer made to order where you can send then your measurements and pick details like pocket arcuates stiching, what type of leather path you like, and of course denim weight.
How many pairs of Iron Heart Jeans do you own? I’ve worn selvedge denim for 5 years now and I’ve always wanted to get a pair of these. It’s just the price point on these are so high! Just bought a pair of the Unbranded denim Ub201 for 60$ so I’ll see how those last me. First pair was the Levi’s 511 @DevonReviewer
I have 3, the 555s, some 666 ducks and some of the 25oz... I will get more, great jeans, and the store is only a couple of hours away... they have just started offering free repairs too! I truly believe they offer best value even at their relatively high price... the 21oz denim is amazing
DevonReviewer lucky!!! Hook me up with a 21oz in my size! Lmao that’s good though that your close especially since you can go try them on too and know what your buying. Ordering selvedge denim can be tricky since most brand are different in a way. They are worth it. I want the IH-555-01 that you have. Those are truly great jeans by the looks of the fades.
Fantastic video as always, thanks for sharing! i really want to get a pair of IH 21oz jeans but cannot figure out which ones might fit and dont live anywhere near to where they are sold at the moment..
I just bought my first pair of IH jeans direct from IH uk website. The website contains all the information on the different style/fit of jeans they do and this should enable you to choose a style that fits your body type. Then following the same way that IH measure their jeans video, measure you current best fitting jeans for waist and thigh size. These are the most important factors that will effect the fit. Then use these measurements to pick the size (allowing for any stretch - 1" in the waist for 21oz). When ordering you can add the measurements (ie. waist/thigh size) that are most important to you and they will always contact you to make sure that the pair they are going to send are ok for you. If not, they will go and get another pair from stock, until your happy. Only then will they send them to you. I was like you, unsure about the whole process of buying such expensive jeans over the internet, so I ordered them without being hemmed to length. I then returned then for hemming which was more expense but I at least knew I wouldn't be left with jeans I couldn't return as the had been altered. Having gone through this process I would be a lot more confident next time and just get them hemmed at the point of purchase. Hope this helps. The 21 oz really is fantastic denim and definitely worth it.
This page has their contact telephone number. The staff are great and will tell you where to get the best deals if you want to visit a stockist. The directors are mostly around and are happy to talk to customers. www.ironheart.co.uk/contact-us
if you're already having cuff wear at a double, switch to a single cuff. That way if the darn job doesn't work out, you can always cut right above it and you'll still have some nice pant length.
Absolutely yes. I have 22 oz logger jeans I use for taking down trees from.november to may, too hot otherwise. Anything over 50-60 is gunna be swampass
All I hear is Stephen merchants voice. Good video! Is iron heart a bit over rated? I mean, their lumberjack shirts are £300 and it just feels like they’re expensive for the sake of exclusivity. Oh and I do like them, there’s a quality to the indigo. Another point (and maybe down to practicalities) these are sanforized. Whilst some consider them to be raw my feeling is you will get less fading/whiskering and of course miss out on that hot soak, shrink to fit money shot.
Hi! Did you wear them right away and wash them 3 months later? Or did you soak them first before wearing then wash them after the three months? Thanks, Jay
I like branded goods but £270-£380 for paid means just would Not wear well with me. My most expensive watching £260 But what has impressed me Iron Heart life time guarantee Free repairs. If I wore Jeans everyday I guess it's a win
They make great clothes, the free repairs is a new service which really does add value.. albeit a lot of wear would be needed to require repair on these!
i just loved it mate. cant afford right now but its definitely on my wish list. its must have jeans. one of the few mens wearing garment that means something to us.

@@DevonReviewer I love the raw denim page on there. Plenty of good reviews of denim, fade pictures, and notices when some stores have sales. Its just a good community that care about jeans lol. I think you'd fit in well on there.
Came for the raw denim. Stayed for the Seiko SKX.
Easily, one of the best jeans I´ve ever owned. Super thick, yet super soft denim right from the shelf. Beautiful quality. Very worth the money.
i always double cuff my denim. I love the look of still being able to still see the chain stitch on the double cuff.
I am a 36” leg with cuffs! Love my IH777’s. When are you coming back to us dude?! Having to go through your old vids again 😩
How come you don't post more in the forum? I'd love to see some more evo shots of your jeans posted there.
These were my first first pair of heavyweight jeans, I will never go back to wearing light and midweight jeans, even on hot summer days.
I double cuff my 36" and they're always a little too short. I am 6'3 so, I always need a 36" inseem.

I never cuff jeans. Always leads to tearing and ruins them. I always get them chainstiched to the bottom of the ankle bone.
I love how half of us in the comments are just as enthused by the watch. Looking to pick up the shogun later this season
