    Just grabbed a new pair of Sugar Cane’s I’ll be wearing exclusively this year. Plan on getting these or the 666 in 21oz next! Excited. Great video.

    Ironheart is the king of heavweight. They don't have brutal break in. Solid construction as well. You get some nice details.

      completely agree - what's your favorite model of iron heart jeans?

      @@digitallyhandmade6727 21 oz 888 cut.
      I also have a 21oz jacket and it's gotten soft. The denim is interesting, it almost has a bit of stretch/give to it. Probably how it's weaved.

    Great review! How many washes have you done with the jeans so far? My go to brand for selvedge denim is Naked and Famous. Fair prices and great fades. The Elephant heavy weight series has been awesome

      Thanks for watching! So far, no washes. I've heard amazing things about Naked and Famous. They have so many different models too, which is also cool. I'll definitely have to take a look!

    Rattled off some solid denim offerings. Check out Samurai jeans as well. Very subjective but for me, you can not go better than Iron Heart and Samurai jeans with Pure Blue as a close runner up.

      Good suggestion! I will definitely check them out! Any recs for your favorite Samurai jeans?

      samurai is a great jean !! but personally after thousands of dollars spent … I am going to honestly say IH takes the cake depending on your style .. if you have a rough look about yourself .. and want something that is made super solid go IH

    I’m usually a size 30 waist on a regular jeans, should i also follow that sizing for an iron heart?

    • @digitallyhandmade6727
      @digitallyhandmade6727  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Expect the Iron Heart to stretch between an inch and an inch and a half with wear. Most people tend to recommend sizing down to account for that stretching!

    I can't decide if I want the 25oz or 21oz. Any recommendations? They have both in my size right now

    • @digitallyhandmade6727
      @digitallyhandmade6727  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      great question! I've only had experience with the 21oz. and absolutely love it. From what I've heard, the 25oz is stiffer and not quite as comfortable initially. I would imagine that it could yield higher contrast fades if that's what you're after. My two cents - but the 21oz is a great place to start, especially if you're new to Iron Heart. Try them, see if you like them and then you can always go back in a year or two if you still want a pari! Hopefully that helps!

      21 oz the 25s are way to heavy I found them uncomfortable

      25oz is great for fades. Best to get a feel for them in person before you buy it. They will feel n size differently from 21oz.

  • @barberfabian
    @barberfabian 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Holy shit, if you’re saying you’ve had them for 2 years I’m assuming you must DEFINITELY wear them sparingly? They look like they’ve only been worn for a couple months at most lol. But hey, at least you’re gettin your money’s worth! Iron Heart makes great denim, I’m on my second pair now. 👌🏽

    • @dariocarafa3788
      @dariocarafa3788 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was thinking the same thing that is a very minimal amount of fading for 2 years. I'm not sure if this fell out wears a few different pairs and switches them out or if maybe he just doesn't do anything during the day but that is not what I would consider normal fading for 2 years. I kind of agree getting your money's worth at least if you can make a pair of jeans last that long you're doing something right

    For the future, if you’re gonna show your watch off, get a good closeup shot of the face. Stop moving it around. Your hand is so shaky. I can’t see the brand.
