I love the Brooks Beast shoe. I also still have my 20's and just bought this 24 a couple weeks ago. These are the ultimate work shoe. They provide both stability and comfort. I still like to put a Dr. Scholls plantar fasciitis insert in them. You said there was no difference from the 20's to the 24's but there is. The 24 has DNA loft V3 nitrogen infused cushioning, the 20's did not have that. Put the 20 and 24 next to each other and compare the heel, the 24 looks like it has more cushioning. And I don't know how you tore the 20's, mine are still intact. Enjoy!
Sorry if you misunderstood or if I made the incorrect statement, I know there are differences between the Brooks Beast 20s and Brooks Beast GTS 24s. I just don't think there is a significant difference between last year's Brooks Beast GTS 23s and this recently released Brooks Beast GTS 24. Aside from price, that is. Currently there the Brooks Beast GTS 23 is being cleared out at various retailers for around $180CAD, while I purchased my Brooks Beast GTS 24 for $220CAD. From what I've researched, the Beast GTS 24s have a slightly lower drop, and a revised sole a far as functionality compared last year's model. I never had a Brooks Beast GTS 23, it wasn't available in June last year when I returned from my trip to Europe. I have been wearing my Beast GTS 24s regularly and keep my Beast 20s for my house shoes as I don't go barefoot or walk around in slippers. The Beast GTS 24 has been excellent so far, seemingly more stable and more secure, but time will tell how they wear out. I'll post a follow up review in a few months. I don't know how my 20s wore out either, as I always care for everything I own. I suffered from PF as well and usually wear insoles and knee braces daily but with the Beast 20s as well as the new Beast GTS 24s I don't wear any insoles. I keep the knee braces on though. Thanks for your response!
@@robwhiff3411 I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for almost a decade now. The Brooks Beast series can help, but they are not a true solution for those with plantar pain. I have been using muscle isolation exercises and wearing knee braces and that made the best overall improvement for my condition. Having a stability and motion control shoe can help but I recommend other methods first.
