@@benjwolford I saw them like 2 years ago and it was one of the best shows I ever been to. It was a smaller venue so it was intimate.....and boy oh boy they played allll the hits plus a few off the new album Rainer Fog. It was a fantastic experience.
AC/DC were the only ones that had massive success with a new lead singer even though Bon Scott was super talented though.
And Queen at number 9? Are you kidding me? Should be number 2.
I think Queen should be higher, but AC/DC definitely deserves its top spot. And I never was a great fan of JD Fortune, but Rock Star:INXS brought me to Storm Large.
*"The show must go on"*
I personally think queen should have been in third or fourth. But that’s just my opinion, that doesn’t mean I’m correct.
No you are correct. Mojo tends to make those kinds of mistakes. ;)
Fun fact: Ronnie never wrote down his lyrics. What a mad lad.
All of them but AC/DC were half assed versions of the original.
Oh man, entry 8 hits different as I saw STP and Linkin Park shortly before each of them died.
We Care A lot... that faith no more wasn’t on this list. But I’m used to you guys dropping the ball.
I knew it had to be AC/DC as soon as I read the title. It's hard to even say which version of AC/DC is better. Both Bon and Brian have their own unique style that makes the band great either way.
Agree with the #1. I remember being crushed when Bon died. I never thought they would go on and have a massive hit with BIB, a great album but for me it will always be Bon Scott. ❤️
Surprised Drowning Pool isn't on here, they've had two singers die and still kept going
I was expecting them also.
Queen should be higher
Queen number 9 cmon
Queen Definitely Should have been #1 IMO...✌
R.I.P. FREDDIE❤THE LEGENDARY KING👑OF QUEEN❤
ALWAYS LOVED, NEVER FORGOTTEN! ❤♾👑🤘
Drowning Pool was another band. I never cared much for them but they’re still active today.
yea i forgot abou them but they didnt metion static X
WiIliam Duvall is excellent, they couldn’t possibly have found a better singer to take Layne’s place
Queen
ACDC
Lynyrd Skynrd
Alice In Chains
INXS
No Doubt
Grateful Dead
The Doors
STP
Sublime
No Doubt? WTF
@@flaviojosefo7130 Their original Lead singer killed himself . Gwen took over . Get it now ?
What a treat for the ears and brain!
Me, seeing Queen as #9: 😧😡 YOU HERETICS!!
@Jason Mistretta Exactly. No participation from John Deacon either.
@@robertsaul234 Wrong. He did three live shows after Freddie, a single, and an album. And they wouldn't be doing these shows without his approval, and he gets paid for them.
@Jason Mistretta Awww you heard saying karaoke made you cool on the Internet. Too bad you heard wrong.
@Jason Mistretta So? Stop insulting Adam!
The amount of Adam hate here is just toxic
It's hard to replace a Singer some bands just need to let it rest in peace
Yup. Kinda just depends on, I don't know. Something
Why are so many people insulting Adam Lambert for being with Queen? Y'all should realise that people like me never got the chance to see the original line-up, as Freddie died in late 1991. I was born years later. I am a fan of Adam individually aswell, so I appreciate the two coming together. 99% of the Queen fans are only insulting Adam and it's sad, but it shows how awful the fans are :(
I saw Queen + Adam twice last year. The overwhelming majority of the fandom loves Adam. The Internet is filled with miserable SOBs, they don't matter.
@@theaterpup3466 I have seen QAL twice and Adam solo once. The internet for sure is filled with miserable SOBs. The fans of Queen who are anti-Adam, are those who are stuck in the past
@@WonHakWoon Yep. Nostalgia's great, but not at the expense of the present.
How the hell is Queen only 9?
Because the two replacements have been trash
Yes no one can replace Freddie :(
They just tour. They aren't recording albums with new original songs. Karaoke
@@akamiguelsanchez9985 Don't quit your day job.
@@SoCalPressCore No one has tried to.
5:55 The Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash actually happened in 1977.
I love so many of these bands!
Was wondering if GWAR would make the list honestly.
They should've rated an Honorable Mention, at least.
Just because the new frontman used to be their bass player should be meaningless, since his character is different.
rip ian curtis. 🖤 also i i love new order, gonna see them in concert in september at madison square garden.
Lot of bands you forgot. Little Feat comes to mind. They were an up and coming band when their lead singer Lowell George passed away.
What's my favorite band? Queen.
I feel like Linkin Park should be on here. Chester Bennington committed suicide and this left the band in limbo until Mike Shinoda decided to continue Chester's legacy and recently announced a new album from LP.
Until they release it its still up in the air. But to me LP trying to continue w/o Chester would be like if Nirvana tried to move on without Kurt Cobain.
My favorite band is one I grew up listening to. Lynyrd Skynyrd, with Queen playing a close second.
9:12 (left) But that's just a theory! A Music Theory!
Drowning Pool should be an Honerable mention.
Amazing Video
never listened to Thin Lizzy, should I check them out?
Yes you should
@@angelamoore8659 okay!
Yes
Joy Division-New Order😍😍😍
I know he ia not a frontman but the fact that Keith Richards is still alive is pretty amazing. I guess he said it best when asked about his longevity......."I'm doomed to live."
RIP Scott Weiland
Never gets the love he deserves 💔🤘
For me it's Brad Delp from Boston.
