      When u pull the catalytic converter off if you have the rear wheel on the stand just pull it out till it touches the tire and then push the tire up to slide it off just be careful u dont damage it. Also be careful with the fairings. I couldn't find any other videos on the instal so I made this one the best I could. If u have any questions feel free to ask. Oh yeah Subscribe if you want not a requirement though haha!

      This being just the m4 slip on, he didnt remove the cat. He just removed the pre-chamber. The cat is located in the link pipe to the headers. He actually could punch the cat out, but It's a huge pain in the ass, and with the increased airflow from removing the cat, a power commander and/or an ecu flash would then be crucial to the longevity of the bike. Wouldn't want that beautiful of a machine runnin to lean(; no pun intended lol

      @@888hayd so you means it better without removing the cat?

    • @888hayd
      @888hayd 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Davis Santoso I mean if you didn’t want to buy a $300-400 power commander right after punching the cat out, leaving the cat in would be the way to go. Although m4 may not state that an ecu flash is necessary, it’s universally a smart thing to do if you ever change the stock exhaust for anything aftermarket. If you just slipped the m4 on without removing the cat it would probably never cause any issues, but it’d run better with an ecu flash

      I recently learned a valuable lesson about bikes and slip on exhausts. Since they are tuned for the back pressure and the manufacturers tune them lean on gas to improve gas mileage ect.
      This slip on could become an issue for you and anyone else especially on a performance bike.
      Quick story. I just had a 2016 cb300f. I toss a slip-on (stock is just too quite). Well, it was running so lean that it caused the engine components to over heat and destroy the valve seals, seats, piston ring, piston, and various other small parts.
      Due to that i would highly highly recommend either a dyno tune. Or a dynojet power commander to fuel map for the new setup so the bike runs properly and you do not end up with catastrophic engine failure that will costs you thousands to repair.
      This is just my piece of advice.
      I just got a 2019 zx636 this saturday and i want to get this exact exhaust with a power commander.
      The only other thing i would recommend. If you have any warranties. Return the bike to stock before taking it into get checked. Good luck dude
