I have watch this video a few times. I realize how much I enjoyed your video and appreciate the amazing skill set and the determination of your spirit in doing it right the first time. Thank you so much for this very inspiring video. Enjoyed some of the comments as well lol.
Thanks a bunch @InfinetQuest, I really appreciate your positive feedback! I’m glad you found inspiration in it. Keep me posted on your projects and adventures. I look forward to hearing about your endeavors and breakthroughs. Seriously, keep in touch. Best of luck in all that’s ahead for you my friend!
Keith, thanks for the feedback. It isn’t so clean at the moment, after the latest camping excursion. Thanks for watching and I wish you the very best in your adventures ahead!
Thank you @BattlebornCaz, and you’re welcome. Thanks for watching and best of luck in your build out and in all your adventures ahead my friend! May your journey be filled with adventure and plenty of laughter!
Unbelievable!!! Your attention to detail is impressive. Your trailer looks insane and is definitely a BEAST! I'll be sure to reference this video again when I start to customize my trailer. Good luck with your endeavor and hopefully we'll run into each other. 🤙
I don’t think I’ve ever had this thought before, but sir, your competence/skills are borderline scary. As someone who all too often finds the need to make upgrades to commercial products, this is amazing work!
Thanks a bunch BB, I really appreciate encouragement and positive feedback! Most people don’t appreciate the finer nuisances of such things. Thanks again and best of luck on your adventures ahead my friend. Stay in touch.
LEGAL NOTICE: I am searching for a rationale to sue you to try and recover at least some of the money I am spending to replicate features that you have added to your OGT. I am thinking something like “attractive nuisance” theory. Also, thanks to you, some of my neighbors are speculating that I have started a relationship with the Amazon delivery person.
Fletcher, that’s hilarious! I know what you mean about Amazon deliveries. I think they started stopping by my house everyday out of habit even on days when I had no deliveries! Best of luck with your upgrades! I would love to see the results, as you have time to post photos.
don't think there's any legal grounds to sue, this world is upside down lately to think one can try to sue someone.. on another note think this setup is cool and is for bugging out if the "SHFT" comes.. l like this setup myself
Thanks for the tour. You put in a lot of work into your rig and made it your own. Im surprised OGT doesn't take your ideas and make a "Beast" trim line
I love when people dont just screw and glue stuff on and call it a build. This is borderline a re-engineered camper from what it was stock. Good stuff man, and fantastic walkaround
Thanks a bunch @wholewheat1. I really appreciate the positive feedback from someone who obviously understands and values attention to detail. I’m working on a full review of this trailer where I discuss what I like and don’t like about the general set up. But it will be at least another month before I can finish it. Thanks for watching, subscribing and commenting. May all your adventures ahead be filled with deep breaths of life my friend!
Thanks a bunch Zuka Moton, I appreciate the positive feedback. Yes, we are out on a 50-acre farm with it this week having lots of fun! Thanks for watching and best of luck in your adventures ahead!
Thanks a bunch Sean, I appreciate the positive vibes! No $$$ coming in from OGT yet lol. Thanks for watching and subscribing from New Zealand. Best of luck in your adventures ahead!
Thanks a bunch @matic5096, I appreciate the positive feedback. I hope your adventures ahead are filled with life and rich experiences! Thanks for watching, subscribing and commenting too!
To stop a strap vibrating in the wind put a single twist into it Those "Harley" brackets will rotate and slack of the straps if the mounting bolt comes loose
Thanks for the insights Wayne. I haven’t had any problems with the brackets in the year+ I’ve been using them but I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback and good luck in your adventures ahead my friend!
Unbelievable additions to your rig, we have the Pando 2.0.... your attention to detail is amazing. When the apocalypse comes around you are well prepared sir, much respect. Hope to see you out there somewhere, sometime.
I highly recommend removing the security on the fire extinguisher. The last thing you want to do is fumble with a key to unlock it when you needed it 30 seconds ago.
Thanks Joe. We sometimes have lengthy stops at restaurants and gas stations while in transit to our destinations. We remove the locks as soon as we arrive at our camping site. Thanks watching and commenting, and hopefully subscribing. Best wishes in your adventures ahead!
Hi, how are you ? I would like to say that I absolutely love your creations, very well planned out, very well excecuted. Your video had shows me so many things that I had no idea about and just wow. Thank you for such a video and creat job man !
Thanks so much @bao8124, I really appreciate your thoughtful comments and the positive feedback. Thanks for watching, subscribing, and commenting. Best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!
Thanks a bunch TJack! I appreciate the positive feedback. I plan on doing some survival-oriented videos in the future myself, but not as extensively as your channel. I just subscribed to your channel too. Perhaps we could collaborate on a joint project sometime. Thanks again for the awesome comments!
@TJackSurvival, unfortunately I’m in south Texas. It would probably need to be remote on a topic that would appeal to both our audiences. I’m going to be doing a video soon on power alternatives for blackout scenarios -generators, solar, batteries, etc. You’ve probably covered that topic already though. I’m also going to be doing one on hammock camping soon where I share lessons learned from buying off the shelf hammocks versus my new custom one. We could each shoot a portion and share each other’s portions in both our videos. I’m interested in a wide variety of topics. Just some thoughts on cross-pollinating.
This is excellent work! I am looking at getting an Expedition 3.0 for a round-the-world trip. Your mods are excellent! Does the Blink system work well? Thanks, Tom
@London2Singapore, thank you. Glad to hear it. If you plan on using the Blink system off grid, you’ll need a mobile hotspot. I’d recommend this one, amzn.to/3Om5Ni0, which is expensive but the best on the market. T-mobile has the broadest coverage in non-urban areas. If you can’t justify the costs, this one will work too, amzn.to/4fGCrXx. Best of luck in your new purchase and all the adventures ahead my friend! Keep me posted on your progress, and let me know if you have any more questions.
@mjm917, I’m having difficulty locating any place that currently has them in stock. It is called the Big Frig 175L Dunes Dry Box. You can sign up to receive notification when this company has them in stock again. www.kenziesoptics.com/product/big-frig-175l-dunes-dry-box/. Thanks for watching and best of luck in all the adventures ahead my friend!
@@GottaHaveIt How does your 4Runner handle the weight? I used 4Runners and Tacomas for years pulling a similar but lighter trailer and it would cut my gas mileage in half once I hit the mountains.
Kevin, my 4Runner is a V8 rated at 7,300 lb towing capacity. This trailer is about half that. It certainly burns more gas this trailer but I would estimate about 25-30% more. I live in Texas and so naturally we don’t have many mountain here and I haven’t taken it out of state so far. So, I can’t say for sure. I would eliminate my water and gas reserves if I was headed through the mountains.
I did a bunch of research and decided on this unit. It’s rather expensive so I haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet but this is the one I am planning on installing on my camper - nomadicinnovations.com/products/x2-model. I just saw that they now have a newer model, the X3, that is even more expensive. I’ll have to do some research to see if the new unit is worth the extra $$$.
Really love the videos and what you have done with your Expedition- we have recently bought the same one as you. Have some questions about the water storage and molle panels, is there a way I can contact you directly? Thanks!
Awesome setup! Did you need to modify the size of the Ironman 216L Maxicase to fit into the front cargo carrier. Ironman shows the specs on their website as: Exterior Dimensions: 51.18"W x 18.11"L x 18.11"H (1300 x 460 x 460mm) I have the Pando 3.0 and the interior length of my cargo carrier is 50 5/8", the width looks like no problem. I would think the Expedition model and Pando have the same dimeniosns for that cargo bed, but could be wrong. Wondering if you just firced it in as it only about 3/8" shy?
Wow! I commented on the OGT Trailer forum on your video. Just superlative. OK - I have a Pando and would love to have a little information on the security cameras you used and how did you route electrical power to the roof. Thanks
Thanks Fletcher! Glad to hear my concepts are helpful to others. I used the Blink security (amzn.to/3wYGAF7) because they will run on batteries for 2 years, supposedly, plus you can get mini-solar panels for them, or you can hardwire them in. I decided to just run them on batteries. Thanks again for the positive feedback!
Hello from Northern Canada. Well done, and thanks for sharing!! I have to remove my awning to store it in my garage. Any recommendations on quick releases to quickly remove and reinstall the awning when needed?
Dave, I have the same problem and haven’t addressed it yet. I certainly think it’s possible to do. I’ll let you know if I come up with an idea. Please do the same. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Somewhat, most of their materials are high quality. Their QA program is lacking. I had some wiring that wasn’t fully snapped in place. I’ve already shot video for a full walkthrough tour of the trailer where I’ll be discussing what I like, don’t like and who this type of setup will work well for and not. Not sure I would buy the same trailer brand or type again. There have been several new products released since I bought this one. I’ll discuss that too in the upcoming video. It will probably be another month before I get to it as I’ve been working on a new channel in recent months. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!
Where will you accommodate your obvious money tree, or is it a golden goose, when the SHTF and it's time to go mobile ? If all this comes from Amazon, Bezos needs to award you a "most valued and profitable" customer of the decade award... I myself have a concept that the one who dies with the MOST debt WINS. So I replaced my money tree, that finances my prepper related obsessions with a credit card collection. Happy Trails . Very well thought out. Thx 4 sharing.
That’s hilarious @AutoHoax! I just retired, so now I have more time and less money coming in. Not sure how I’m going to adjust my go-forward strategy. Trying to buy fewer firearms and ammo and more practical stuff.
@jdhay3215, thanks a bunch for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it. First, I bought one of these to provide WiFi distribution. amzn.to/4fnwDmf. The other half of the equation is one of these with a T-mobile SIM card installed. amzn.to/4d0NCZP. I am still searching for the best amplified antenna. This one is in the top of my list but it’s really pricy. Still looking for other options before I pull the trigger. amzn.to/4dnD2vJ. Thanks again for watching and subscribing!
Thanks a bunch Ryan, I appreciate the positive feedback. Here are the straps I used amzn.to/4771cbZ. I hope you consider subscribing. Best of luck on your upgrades and adventures ahead!
Thanks Suhayl! I have since reworked that configuration and it is now about a foot or more higher. I will do a revision to the video with some additional updates before long.
First off, some great mods. Trailer looks great. What was the weight of the trailer after all the mods, and with your full load out? Again awesome job.. looks great!
@GottaHaveIt awesome job man you are motivated. Looks like you have 1,500 pounds of cargo capacity. I bet totally loaded assuming those boxes are full of gear your going to be right at capacity.
Michael, I made it myself out of 2 of these amzn.to/473hti8, 2 of these amzn.to/3MnDwGY, a set of these amzn.to/3Z23GXb and then some lumber to make the base and a sheet of plywood to make the backing to which the 4 organizers are attached. You may not need one as big as mine. I wanted one I could roll around the garage for various projects. You could just get the organizers and attach them to a wall. Best of luck with it and thanks for watching, and considering subscribing!
I’m considering doing a full walk through tour of the trailer that discusses why I bought it and the electric upgrades I chose as well as the advantages and disadvantages of this setup. What do you think of the idea?
Francois, thanks a bunch! This is the one I chose amzn.to/4geE0wO. This pack gives you 5 cameras, 4 in use and a stand by, or one for inside your rig. The batteries will last for two years, plus you can connect them into your batteries or as a solar panels. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Best of luck in your adventures ahead!
Also, these are the clamps I used to connect the camera to the trailer. They are expensive but they won’t budge and you can tighten them down so they won’t walk off. amzn.to/3AQZZJK
Great mods and definitely love the truck bed liner for all the protection. I just pulled the trigger on my 2024 Expedition 3.0 which is scheduled for delivery in late March. I do want to get the security camera and the back up camera. Do you have a ready made buy list of your accessories? I can't wait for my delivery, definitely looking forward to it and my camping ventures.
I just updated the program description to include product links in the original TH-cam video. Let me know if something you are looking for is not included. Good luck with the new trailer!
@@GottaHaveIt Thank you! I just picked up my Expo 3.0 yesterday. Definitely the back up camera and the security cameras will be my next investment. Did you have to remove the original vinyl before you put on the paint wrap vinyl?
Jason, I placed a listing of all products I used on the buildout in the program description. Here is the vinyl I used on the doors - Black Indestructible Paint Wrap... www.amazon.com/dp/B084NT6L6M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Thanks for watching!
I have since rebuilt the hitch system so it has about 18 inches of clearance when we have the rear cargo rack installed. We remove the rear cargo rack when we are off-roading. Fully loaded we are near 4,000. My V8 4Runner will tow 7,300.
I am working on a full tour video. I’ve already shot most of the video for it, including buying a to do it. But, I’m in the middle of another big project. I hope to get it out as soon as this perspective is complete. But it could be 6-8 weeks. Thanks for watching and the positive feedback! Best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!
@jmodic, they had the best characteristics I needed such as they can be powered by internal batteries that last 2 years, solar panel options, and 12 volt direct power. The motion-detection and notification system is robust. The speakers are solid so I can communicate with anyone who approaches it while I’m away. The day and night vision sensitivity are both good. Overall, ideal features, qualities, and prices.
That’s hilarious @120woodcraft! Maybe I should start my own clothing line featuring truck bed liner legs and shelves with hinges at the joints, 😝 ! Thanks a bunch for watching, subscribing, and commenting. Best of luck in your adventures ahead!
@LongWalkerActual, that’s hilarious. Good question. I would call it a multipurpose escape-to-nature, escape-from-a-hurricane, escape-if-the-shtf, or escape-if-the-leftists-have-their-way vehicle.
Thanks a bunch Marty, I really appreciate the positive feedback! Thanks for watching and subscribing! I hope to do an update to this video as I’ve made a few more mods to the trailer lately.
David, yes I have a V8 2005 4Runner with 7,300 lb towing capacity. I’ve been driving it for 20 years and it still drives like the day I bought it. I’ve considered replacing it with a newer model but they don’t make the V8 any longer. If I get a newer model I’d loose 2,300 lbs of towing capacity. So I’m sticking with old faithful for now. Are you a 4Runner owner?
@@GottaHaveIt ahhh got ya. I was going to ask if yours was newer if you put in a supercharger or something to improve towing but with a V8 you probably have no issues. I’ve got a 2019 4Runner and considering getting an Off Grid but wondering if I am going to have issues towing it. We like mountain camping so it’s not going to be towing on just flat roads.
David, Off Grid Trailers shows their trailers being pulled up steep mountains by Jeep Wranglers all the time. I loaded mine down with lots of extras knowing that I could pull it. Stock, I don’t think you would have a problem towing it.
@greatamerican2001, with it fully loaded out, it comes in around 4,000 lbs. My V8 4Runner tows 7,300 and it feels effortless in flat Texas terrain. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
It is somewhere between 3,500-4,000 lbs depending on the loaded configuration. As I have a V8 4Runner with 7,300 lbs towing capacity, it is an easy tow in flat Texas terrain.
@@GottaHaveIt I would be careful because the max GVW for that trailer is 3500lbs. Thats what the axel is rated at so you might bust a axel if your over weight and off roading.
Thanks for the recommendation. I plan on taking it to a certified scale on my next trip out. We have a lot of flexibility in how we configure the trailer. So far we have only been taking it to places that have water hookups. So, we can pull it dry and fill up once we get to our destination. Thanks again. Riches blessings in your adventures ahead!
Yes, mine is a 2005 model. I’ve been driving it for 20 years. I want to get a newer model but since you can’t get the V8 any longer, I’m just holding out with old faithful for now.
Jared, the axels are rated at 3,500 lbs. I should have mentioned in the video that I have to make priority decisions on each trip as to what is most important and make adjustments elsewhere to ensure I keep the weight under GVWR. When we headed out today, I drained some of the water reserves to keep my weight safe. Thanks for sharing your insights! I’m working on a full walkthrough tour of my entire setup in a remote location this week. I’ll be sure to make a point of the importance of weight management. Best of luck on your adventures ahead!
Danny, no joke, that’s for sure. My wife and I both have a matching set as the same way to help us remember which keys unlock which things. Cheers bro, 😎, all the best in your adventures too my friend!
Kevin, I’ve never added it all up. I’m afraid to lol. I would guess it’s in the $10k range. Thanks for watching and best of luck in your adventures ahead!
@@kevinferguson6543, no I live in south Texas, Houston. I’m not available at this time. I’ll give that idea some thought but I’m focused on some other goals at this time. Thanks for the inquiry though, I appreciate your confidence!
Paul, thanks a bunch for the insights. I will give that some thought when it comes time for additional upgrades. Thanks for watching And sharing your thoughts.
I seriously thought about it but I would have had to of sanded the whole thing. I ended up putting black propane tank backpacks around them. I also made several more upgrades. I need to post a video update.
I thought that spraying the max-tracks was a great idea. Whilst they are typically in bright colours such as orange for the good reason of being able to find them easily in deep snow, mud or sand once the vehicle is free, they also scream 'I'm a Max Track. Steal me.' when mounted on a vehicle, by spraying them you have effectively camouflaged them to the point that I, or opportunist thieves, couldn't immediately recognise what they were.
Andrew, thanks for taking the time to share your insights and well considered thoughts on the traction boards. I appreciate your thoughts as we all need more sarcasm in our lives, lol. I’m working on a follow up video with a full walk through that explains the 5 scenarios my designs were focused on fulfilling and my rationale will make more sense then. I’ll also be discussing what I like and don’t like about this specific trailer and the general setup as well as who this arrangement may work well for and not. I would make some of the same choices if I had to do it all over again and I’d do some things differently. I enjoy experimenting and learning. No regrets though. Best of wishes in all your adventures ahead my friend!
Looks awesome but it's a shame that the fear of a pair of bolt cutters would allow for most of that equipment to dissapear. You leave that thing at a campsite while you go mountain biking and I'd be worried the whole time. People simply can't leave shit that isn't theirs alone.
Thanks for the feedback Aidan! I installed the 4 security cameras to help us keep an eye on the trailer while we are away. But it only works if we are in range of a cell tower. So, there is risk involved but we have insurance and try not to let that distract us too much while away from our rig. Thanks again for the feedback and I wish you all the best in your adventures ahead my friend!
Duke, yes, the axle is rated for 3,500 lbs. So, I have to be careful with the weight. I periodically take it to a Cat certified scale to make sure various configurations don’t exceed limits. But, It serves our needs nicely otherwise. I’m working on a full walk through tour where I discuss what I like about it, don’t like, and who this type of setup is designed for. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!
Treefrog2511, that’s hilarious. I’m maybe $15K of upgrades in. I could buy 5 of these for that price. I’ve been a technology architect for over 40 years, designing and inventing technologies for Silicon Valley tech firms, dot com startups and Fortune 100 companies. I worked my way up over those decades until I reached $300 an hour billing rate. When you can solve complex technology problems that experts say can’t be done with available technologies enough times, you can eventually name your price. I retired 5 months ago. I bought this trailer and did these upgrades in preparation for that retirement. Thanks for watching and the response. Best of luck in your adventures ahead my friend!
Mike, well to be brutally honest, I suppose you’re right lol. That’s hilarious! We bought it because we are buying land out in the bush and will be living out of it in various parts of the land while we clear parts of it, dig a well, build our house, etc. Also, for various SHTF scenarios, and naturally for the zombie apocalypse. Mostly the latter. Thanks for watching, subscribing, and commenting. May your adventures ahead be full of life my friend!
There has to be a limit to add ons. If you used that to bug out in. Good luck... I can see, highway packed in traffic jams..... And your pulling a ace hardware store on wheels, thugs with big guns... Will thank you as they drive off with it. 😂
Frank, that’s hilarious, lol. I have not neglected that area either. I won’t share the details here but such thugs would be met with a strategically-designed well-resourced overwhelming force where each weapon meets or exceeds military specs that I custom designed and built myself using the highest quality parts available.
It's pretty. About all I can say. Something like Musk/Bezos would have. Whether it actually works as planned, is yet to be seen. When you said something like " got them out of my TH-cam studio" that washed it for me. Best of luck in your endeavors.
Jimmy, I’m not familiar with the term “washed it for me.” Can you help me understand your meaning? It’s working well for my intended design. I’m working on another video where I do a full walkthrough of the trailer and describe what I like and don’t like about it and who this kind of setup is for and not. Not sure I would go in the same direction again. There have been several new models released in the past two years that make improvements on the design. We bought this one and I did the upgrades because we are buying some large undeveloped acreage and we will be living out of this while we clear some of the land, have a well dug, build our house, install solar, etc. So, we needed something that could be hauled out in the back woods across a wide variety of terrains and withstand the level of abuse we plan for it in upcoming years. There are four other scenarios I designed for it but I’ll save them for a future video. Thanks for the feedback and I wish you all the best in your adventures ahead too my friend! Cheers
@GottaHaveIt in other words, you got the " don't recommend this channel " are those words clear for ya? I found your video boring and just plain stupid. It appears as a typical millennial build. Take Amazon away and you're lost and paralyzed. Have a good life.
All these offroad trailers are overpriced, so which one is best for the money this trailer on copart for a future sale, I'm thinking of a arb earth 48k it has a lot to offer at this price point fiberglass shell pressuresrized dust free is what arb say but all these trailer are over priced when most people only use it a few times a year just like the hard shell rooftop tent 5k when times are tough to buy things we want vs need
James, i will check out the ARB Earth 48K. You may want to check this one out too. It’s on the top of my list for a future purchase. th-cam.com/video/kAVwpNPC_rk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IrPZabIhYkXlXRpS
I did check out that trailer, but it's not really my taste it's a bit much, plus you may need to upgrade your vehicle to tow it. I feel an over-priced trailer leaves many people out of the market , I just bought a 2017 170 Mercedes Benz sprinter van 3.0 I'm building for camping that will build cost 30k and up easy for now I'm just kicking the tires anyway you have a nice build on your trailer
Jamie, as with all things, if we sat down for a cup of coffee and I told you all the dynamics involved that led to this project and all its decisions, you would understand how all the pieces of the puzzle for together and makes perfect sense of it all. Thanks for watching and best of luck in all your adventures ahead!
That’s hilarious FBI van pitts! Glad you liked the trailer and video. Thanks for watching, commenting and hopefully subscribing! Best of luck in your FBI van and smoking whatever it is that you’re smoking! Cheers 🍻
That’s hilarious Adam LOL. My wife loves it. Every time we take it out, people at gas stations and camp sites stop by to tell us how awesome it is and ask us tons of questions about it. I designed it this way for five different scenarios in our future, such as we are about to buy a large acreage of land here in south Texas so we can live out of it across an assortment of terrain while we’re clearing the land, getting a well dug, building a house, etc. The 4 other scenarios involve longer explanations. So I designed it to meet those needs. Thanks for watching and a good laugh. Best of luck in your adventures ahead my friend!
@_l8958 Спасибо за комментарий. Я ценю обратную связь и учту это для следующих видео. Спасибо за просмотр, и удачи вам в ваших дальнейших приключениях!
My first impression was it looks like a child bolted on a bunch of stuff to a box, there's too much going on. Its way too heavy for a camper that small. Weight matters alot. You sprayed plastic , with truck bed liner, which was already corrosion resistant, looks nice but In reality, a waste of time and materials. It's OCD on steroids. 5000 lbs cables to hold 500 lbs...overkill. You could cut another of useless weight on unnecessary glamor and use that to hold fuel and water, which is more important than heavy duty hooks, and bed liner etc. A trailer is only good as the axles and tires. 100 gallons of water is 840 lbs. Every 10lbs you have to move= 1hp. Hp= fuel mileage. Fuel = weight It's a beautiful build, but not really thought out
Brian, what you and I prioritize are quite different. I would never make the choices you have defined. My choices were well thought out for what i am working to accomplish for my situation, which I did not explicitly state but tossed out hints for those with enough intelligence to be able to read between the lines and figure it out, which clearly went over your head. Weight is not an issue for me at all. My vehicle will tow twice this weight. Fuel mileage is not an issue for me in the least. For example, I design and custom build firearms using the best parts in the world - carbon fiber barrels, cold hammer forged parts that will last a lifeline, silencers that exceed military specs, precision rounds that will shoot flat for close to a mile even though they costs considerably more than popular rounds - not because I want to build something practical but because I want to build things to the best of my abilities and compete with world class standards. I have built firearms that cost$5,000-$8,000 each for the parts because the costs don’t matter to me but the results do. That mentality is what has made me a successful entrepreneur and companies line up to pay me whatever I ask because they know I will deliver world class results. I have repeatedly invented some of the most advanced technologies in the world that Silicon Valley experts said couldn’t be done at the time. But I proved such “experts” wrong time and time again. The biggest name in the tech sector have fought to buy the patents created from my work. That is why I rub shoulders with billionaires and thought leaders around the world. Your shortsightedness and lack of asking important questions before passing judgments on others will sell you short in life and limit your success. I encourage you to reconsider how you approach life and interact with others if you want to be successful in this wonderful journey called life. Best of luck to you!
I’m creating a video now where I do a full walkthrough and review of the trailer - what I like, don’t like and who it’s for and not. This previous one was just an overview of the upgrades I did on it. I haven’t touched the battery system, their stock. Stay tuned for the release of that video. Thanks for watching and best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!

Jim, no those shelves came with the Off Grid Trailers Expedition series. Thanks for watching Jim. Best of luck in your adventures ahead my friend!

That would be sweet @naqueal! Thanks for watching and the feedback!
To stop a strap vibrating in the wind put a single twist into it
Those "Harley" brackets will rotate and slack of the straps if the mounting bolt comes loose

@@GottaHaveItI’m happy to do that. Are you in Utah? Also I make content for Survival Dispatch as well.

Wow. Can you provide info on the 175 ltr boxes? I did see them listed in tge description. TIA.

@@GottaHaveIt Thanks. I also live in Texas and can't imagine camping here without A/C. Do you? Do you have any experience with the 12V A/Cs?
I did a bunch of research and decided on this unit. It’s rather expensive so I haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet but this is the one I am planning on installing on my camper - nomadicinnovations.com/products/x2-model. I just saw that they now have a newer model, the X3, that is even more expensive. I’ll have to do some research to see if the new unit is worth the extra $$$.

Did you need to modify the size of the Ironman 216L Maxicase to fit into the front cargo carrier. Ironman shows the specs on their website as:
Exterior Dimensions: 51.18"W x 18.11"L x 18.11"H (1300 x 460 x 460mm)
I have the Pando 3.0 and the interior length of my cargo carrier is 50 5/8", the width looks like no problem. I would think the Expedition model and Pando have the same dimeniosns for that cargo bed, but could be wrong. Wondering if you just firced it in as it only about 3/8" shy?
Wallace, thanks. No modifications needed. It just dropped right in. Good luck with your upgrades! I hope your adventures ahead are full of life!

Well done. From your comments my takeaway is that OGT needs to relook the materials they are using (quality)?

@@GottaHaveIt that’s very true. Thanks for the replies!
What is your total weight once loaded with gear, water, food and such?

I would love to know the weight of the trailer as you have it loaded.
Most of us camp and overland, we're not preparing for Mad Max!
Rhino line the propane tank!
Thanks again for the feedback and I wish you all the best in your adventures ahead my friend!
seems like alot of weight for a single axle baby trailer
Duke, yes, the axle is rated for 3,500 lbs. So, I have to be careful with the weight. I periodically take it to a Cat certified scale to make sure various configurations don’t exceed limits. But, It serves our needs nicely otherwise. I’m working on a full walk through tour where I discuss what I like about it, don’t like, and who this type of setup is designed for. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!
So, now you have spent $300,000 wow, must be nice to have that kind of money.

Oh my god, you know how to piss money up the wall
Jamie, as with all things, if we sat down for a cup of coffee and I told you all the dynamics involved that led to this project and all its decisions, you would understand how all the pieces of the puzzle for together and makes perfect sense of it all. Thanks for watching and best of luck in all your adventures ahead!
I want whatever you’re smoking!
That’s hilarious FBI van pitts! Glad you liked the trailer and video. Thanks for watching, commenting and hopefully subscribing! Best of luck in your FBI van and smoking whatever it is that you’re smoking! Cheers 🍻
It now looks like a trailer no chic would ever come near. Like a black creeper van. Lol
Best of luck in your adventures ahead my friend!

unwrapping like a 5 year old on christmas morning.
Jamie, that’s so true! Thanks for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it!
Hp= fuel mileage.
Fuel = weight
It's a beautiful build, but not really thought out
Brian, what you and I prioritize are quite different. Best of luck to you!
you had a lot to say but didnt say a single thing about your battery system
I’m creating a video now where I do a full walkthrough and review of the trailer - what I like, don’t like and who it’s for and not. This previous one was just an overview of the upgrades I did on it. I haven’t touched the battery system, their stock. Stay tuned for the release of that video. Thanks for watching and best of luck in all your adventures ahead my friend!
@@GottaHaveIt thank you i will love to wait for the next one, stock elec is fine i was just wondering what it has 👍
